Reading
I changed my job this year and so we had to move house. The old house was too small anyway. There were only two bedrooms and the kitchen was rather small. I miss the living room, it was big enough, with a high ceiling and it was a very relaxing room to just sit in. The garden was good. We had worked hard to get it just right. We had lovely flowers and space for a barbecue as well. The new house is much bigger - I can afford it in my new job. We've got four bedrooms and though the kitchen is no bigger than in the old house, it feels bigger. It's better designed. We've got more bathrooms, now as well. There's one upstairs and another downstairs, next to the guest bedroom. The garden is huge. I can see it's going to take a lot of hard work to get it the way we want it. |
