My work Day

My name is Rafal. I'm 22 years old. I work in Energoserwis in Lubliniec. My company employs 600 employee. My Company makes, repairs, regenerates rotors, generators and electric machines from power plants. Lubliniec is also my home town. Distance from my home and work is 3 km. In my work I'm responsible for 3 CNC milling machines. I usually do on it parsts for rotors and generators to power plants from all over the world. I use tools as: solid end mill, indexable end mills, multi-functional cutters, drills, machine taps, finishing tools. I also use measuring instrument as slide caliper, micrometer screw, dial gauge, depth gauge.

I start work at 6 a.m. I go to work by car or bicycle, it depends on weather. First think I do is turn the machine on and find his reference points. When it is complete I start the program and I have a moment to eat my breakfast and drink some tea.

From time to time I take a part from machine and check his dimensions by using slide caliper, etc. I reports any defects to shift foreman and he calls to production engineer and we debate about the problem. But usually I already know where was the problem and I correct it by myself. I work 8 hours or sometimes 12 hours. And now a few example of parts name which I'm doing at work: instrumentation for winding (uzwojenie) rotor, base console, rotor stiffening, J-stap.
