To: 8th CDF Commanding Officer Rear-Adm. Smith
From: Lieutenant
Date: 9th January 2002
Subject: Sub-Lt Jones
As instructed, I selected a candidate who is suitable to take charge of survival courses for civilians.
Sub-Lt Jones has been working for 8th CDF as an officer who is responsible for military training since 1999. Earlier, from 1995 to 1998 he was a commanding officer of the company of protection in the Command of the Naval Base.
The main reason for my recommendation of Sub-Lt Jones as a teacher is that during his service he has been recognized by me as a very good organizer as well as a good leader. Two years ago he participated in the survival course in the USA, and he had been assessed as the best student since time when that school started its professional training. For this reason he was awarded by the Commander in Chief of the Polish Navy.
Additionally, Sub-Lt Jones is in the best physical fitness in our uni because every day he does special training to prepare himself for the marathon. Furthermore, he has the rare power of being a strong personality without dominating, which causes that he is popular with subordinates
In addition, he is a very hard-working man and he expresses his greatest willingness to take charge of this course.
To conclude, I think, that Sub-Lt Jones is the best officer in our unit to take charge of the survival course. And you will not regret your decision to appoint him this post.
