Elephants are the biggest land animals. They are grey or brown elephants come from Africa or Asia.
African elephants are brown and they have very big ears, Asian elephants are grey and they have small ears. The elephant has a very long nose which is called trunk and two long white teeth called tusks.
Elephants eat a lot of food every day.
They eat leaves, grass and fruit.
A big elephant is over 3.5 metres tall and weighs 6000 kg (six thousand kilos!).
An elephant eats 140 kilos of food a day and drink 180 litres of water.
Elephants can swim. In fact, they are very good swimmer. Elephants love water!
