TEACHERS NOTES
CONTENTS
Two photos of a table that have clear differences
The photos can be used in a number of ways - here are some examples.
ACTIVITY 1 - DISCUSSION
Give the photos to a couple of pupils/students and ask them to talk about them and identify all the differences.
ACTIVITY 2 - BARRIER GAME
For two pupils/students - give each learner one of the cards. They must then talk about the photos to identify the differences - BUT THEY MUST NOT LET THE OTHER LEARNER SEE THEIR CARD.
Pupils/students could work in teams of two rather than individually.
ACTIVITY 3 - GUESS WHICH
One person thinks of an object in one of the photos.
The others ask yes/no questions to find out which one it is.
NOTES
This activity focuses on descriptive language.
TECHNICAL NOTE
Printing - when printing out the photos, I usually use photographic paper/card, the quality is much better than on ordinary paper or card.
