THE TUK-TUK

In Thailand, one of the popular transportation to transport people for short trips is Tuk-TUK.

All people, for instance they are on their way to school or work, shoppers or even business people, ride on tuk-tuks. The tuk-tuk is a kind of transportation like a motorcycle with three wheels. It is almost the same as pedicab which has a small open cabin in the back for passangers. It can carry some passangers about three or four. The tuk-tuk gets its name from the noise that its engine makes. It’s faster than taxis because it can move easily in and out of heavy traffic. Many visitors from the west are notv used to this form of transportation, and the the tuk-tuk remains an attraction for tourists. It’s a unique vehicle which exists in Thailand and it has become a transportation to be used in Thailand.
