Writing your conclusion
Jane Van Hool:
The conclusion is your chance to leave a lasting impression on your reader.Brian Walden.
Brian Walden:
I suppose the really crucial thing to say is, make sure that it, it doesn't sound as if you've got a
lot more to say. At least conclude it. The last sentence should be conclusive. It should give, it
should be telegraphing The End, so that people can think, yeah, well, that's the end of it, he's
finished, he's said all he wanted to say. It's very important to do that. Because if you leave
with people the impression that if only you’d had more time, or more length, you could have
said something more important, they won't like it, they will feel that they've been cheated out
of something.
