Size of pileus: 40-150 x 20-70 mm when expanded to conical
Colour of pileus: whitish or silvery grey
Lamellae: free; L= >60
Stipe: 80-200 x 7-15 mm, whitish
Smell: none
Spores: warty, ellipsoid or ovoid, 11-15 x 6.5-8 µm; Q= 1.50-1.95, av. Q= 1.70; av. L= 12.3-12.5, av. B= 7.3-7.4 µm
Base of spores: rounded to slightly conical
Germ pore central
Basidia: 4-spored, 25-42 x 8-10 µm
Pseudoparaphyses: 3-6
Pleurocystidia: oblong, narrowly utriform, cylindric, 80-180 x 30-60 µm
Cheilocystidia: oblong, narrowly utriform, cylindric 50-110 x 15-30 µm
Veil: cylindrical elements, 20-130 x (4-)6-14(-18 µm wide
Pileipellis: inflate elongate cells, 10-40 µm thick
Clamp-connections: present
Habitat: on and around truncs, fasciculate
