11 old songs written during a “winter wake up” cabin-time in arctic Norway, with
photos, recorded in the style of “10 New Songs” by Leonard Cohen or “Arise Therefore”
by Will Oldham, that is, sung deep and richly along to synthetic background music.
This sounds nothing like any other Mt. Eerie or Microphones music. People will prob-
ably call this the “casio album”. It sounds beautiful in whole new ways.
Sample lyric: “Around me loomed the possibility that if I stopped clapping my
hands I would notice that I canʼt hold onto things, and the possibility that if I stopped us-
ing my voice I would notice songs that, all around me, sing.” (wind)
