ZIPPERS GALORE!

What to do with odd zippers??? Make
purses! Create your own version using
different sizes and amounts for larger or
smaller purses. Add charms in your
favorite themes to personalize as gifts!
Supplies You ll Need:
" Pfaff sewing machine
" Narrow Edge foot
" 5  14 zippers in matching or
coordinating colors.
" 5 charms, zipper pulls or any
other little goodies you can
attach to the zipper pulls!
" Sewing thread to match
zippers (for needle and
bobbin)
Let s Get Started:
1. Using the Narrow Edge foot, butt edges of 2 zippers together on either side of
the center guide and use a 2mm wide x 1 ½ mm long zigzag to sew edges
together. Repeat to connect all the zippers
together in the color order you desire.
2. Unzip 1 of the zippers about halfway (this will
allow you to turn the purse right side out).
3. With right sides together, align top and bottom
ends of zipper tape. Pin.
4. Using an approx. ½ seam, stitch across the
zipper tape extensions.
5. Using a 1/8 seam, stitch through both layers of
the zipper tape on the sides of the bag.
6. Turn right side out through open zipper.
7. Attach a charm to each zipper pull.
