IrecommendusingHimalayansaltinrecipesthatcallforsaltasaningredient.

Thebodydoesneedsalttoremainhealthyandbalanced,buttablesaltisn'tthe
righttype.Tablesalthasbeenchemicallyprocessedintosodiumchloride.This
isdifferentfromsaltinitsnaturalformandasaresult,yourbodycannotuseit
properly.Itrequiresalotofwaterforyourbodytoprocesssodiumchloride.This
results in imbalances that can cause or exacerbate serious health problems. It
canalsoleadtodehydration.

Himalayan salt is pure and it has not been chemically processed, therefore, it
maintainsitsbeneficialattributesandcomponentssuchasminerals.Himalayan
salt,whenconsumedinsmallamounts,canservetohelppromotehealthysleep
patterns,cardiovascularhealth,healthyskinandanoverallbalanceinyourbody
chemistry,pHandfluids.

Individualswhohavebeendiagnosedwithailmentssuchashighbloodpressure
may need to avoid salt entirely, even Himalayan salt. Fortunately, there are a

and beyond. It's extremely versatile, as it can be dried, sauteed, roasted or

therebyenablingyoutomaintainflavorwithoutusingquiteasmuchsalt.

Chives–Thetiniestmemberoftheonionfamily,chivesareidealforuse

inmanydishesinplaceofsalt.Chivesaresuitableforuseindisheswithpotato,
saladsorseafoodrecipes.

3.

Basil–BasiliscommonplaceinmanyItaliandishes.It'salsofoundin

some forms of Asian cuisine. Basil is a great herb, which can be added to
vegetabledisheseitherinitsdriedorfreshform.

Oregano–OreganoismostoftenfoundinMediterranean,MiddleEastern

No-PrepSnackIdeas

Nuts–Almondsandpistachiosmakeforagreat,veryportablesnack.A

handful of nuts averages approximately 100 calories and they tend to be very
fillingtoo.Highinproteinandfiber,yourbloodsugarwillremainconstanttoo.

2.

Hard-boiledeggs–Highinprotein,lowincaloriesandfat,hard-boiled

eggsareagreatsnackthatstoreswell.They'realsoagreaton-the-gobreakfast
itemthat'seasytomakemoreappealingtochildrenwithaquickandsimpleegg
dyingproject!

Another alternative: raw egg from a fresh, organic free-range hen. Dip a bit of
