“Heroes” Of The Right Wing

By

Eustace Mullins

During the American Revolution, despite the fact that the population was
almost equally divided between patriots and Tories, there was no dearth
of Americans willing to risk all they owned for the Cause of Liberty. For
many of them, this was a great deal, as they were successful landowners
and businessmen.

Over two hundred years later, on, it is useful to examine the leadership of
the patriotic movement as I have observed it during the past fifty five
years. I have seen countless workers, many of them unsung, who gave as
unstintingly as did the Washingtons and Jeffersons of another day. Today,
the majority of those who sacrifice for their country are wage earners
barely able to keep up with rampant inflation, and the elderly eking out
an existence on tiny pensions. Many of them give to the so called
Christian leaders of the right wing, who rake in millions while they
declaim that they are one hundred per cent supporters of the State of Israel.

Many few years ago, when I was working for Mr. H. L. Hunt, he coined
the term, the Mistaken, for those who sabotage America in the service of
alien powers. He labelled those who help America the Constructives. It
would be an error to suppose that the Mistaken are limited to those who
lead the Zionists in their Satanic mission to destroy Christian civilization.
Some of the Mistaken have come to lodge in the patriotic movement,
placed there by the machinations of the Anti-Defamation League and its
countless subterranean operatives.

This infiltration, and the subsequent weakening of the patriotic movement,

is a result of the parasite's need to attack the health centres of the host
organism, and to control the host by taking over these centres. An
illustration of this operation can be made by examining the three leading
heroes of the right wing during the past half of a century.

These three heroes are, first. J. Edgar Hoover. Second, Senator Harry

Byrd. and third General Douglas MacArthur. Their names are sacrosanct
despite the fact that J. Edgar Hoover was a prisoner of the ADL, Harry
Byrd was owned by Kuhn. Loeb, banking house, and General MacArthur
failed to act when his country needed him most.

From its outset. J. Edgar Hoover's career was a masterpiece of duplicity.

The means by which he ousted William Burns as Director of the Bureau

of Investigation are not printable even today. J. Edgar Hoover remained
a minor bureaucrat until poverty engulfed the nation as a result of the
Federal Reserve Board's gold movements, causing the Crash of 1929.
Particularly in the drought-stricken Midwest, hot-headed youngsters
were holding up banks, after the bankers had evicted thousands from their
farms. Fearing that this practice would spread to the East. the New York
bankers insisted that Franklin D. Roosevelt act on the national level.

There were several agencies which Roosevelt could have employed. He

chose the Bureau of Investigation because Hoover could easily be control-
led. Renamed The Federal Bureau of Investigation, the agency sent
armed men in pursuit of the bank robbers and a number of them were shot
down. The bankers still feared the rage of the bankrupt citizens, and
Roosevelt told Hoover he must personally go after the robbers. A master
of the science of public relations. Roosevelt knew that the campaign must
be given great publicity if it would have any effect.

For personal reasons. J. Edgar Hoover had avoided any personal publicity
during his decade in office and his name had never appeared in the press.
Now FDR insisted that he give up his anonymity and become a publi-
cized "gangbuster." Hoover did show up after Alvin Karpis was captured
and disarmed, and overnight he became the nation's Number One Crime
Fighter, a title which he held undisputed for the remainder of his life.

After his initial exposure, Hoover discovered that he liked the limelight,

and he soon mastered the art of publicity. The press was alerted when a
criminal was to be shot down, and the FBI became an established part of
the entertain meat media. Meanwhile, organized crime, profiting from the
demise of the independent hoodlums, became a fifty billion dollar a year
enterprise, while Hoover held annual press conferences claiming there

was no such thing as organized crime in America. During World War II,
J. Edgar Hoover became the great Nazi fighter. During the Cold War,
Hoover discovered that he was an anti-Communist. It was this stance
which won him the undying support of the rightwing. Like his war
against crime, Hoover's anti-Communism existed largely in the Sunday
supplements. His sole accomplishment was the arrest of Judy Coplon.
However, this did not prevent him from claiming credit for the capture of
Col. Rudolf Abel, although Abel had been trapped by a newsboy who
told a Brooklyn detective of a message found in a nickel. At the height of
his well-publicized "anti-Communism." J. Edgar Hoover was working
closely with agents of the Anti Defamation League to harass patriots and
to destroy anti-Communist organizations in America. As a reward for this
cooperation, the ADL leaders suggested ghost. writing a book, for which
Hoover would receive the proceeds. The writer, a former secretary of the
Communist Party, was Jay Lieb. stein, or Lovestone, and the book, aptly
named Masters of Deceit,. brought J. Edgar Hoover additional fame and
fortune

During this period, many left- wing Jews became victims of their own
paranoia, and believed that J. Edgar Hoover really was against Commu-
nism. He was attacked in the Daily Worker, and influential Jews such as
Lowenthal and Cohen went to President Truman to get hint fired. Merle
Miller in Plain Speaking the recorded conversations of Harry Truman.
says on page 389 that when he asked Truman about J. Edgar Hoover,

Truman replied. "One time they brought me a lot of stuff about his

personal life, and I told them I didn't give a damn about that."

Truman was being honest about this, as his personal aide was an East

European Jew named David Niles, or Neyhus. One of Niles' sisters was
an important secret service operative of Russian Intelligence, and another
sister was a highly placed intelligence operative of the State of Israel.
Niles himself was a heavy drinker who, during his bouts, went out on
homosexual prowls in Lafayette Square Park, across the street from the

White House. For reasons of national security, two FBI agents followed

him at a discreet distance waiting patiently in alleys while Niles proposi-
tioned truck drivers and then watched him return to the White House.

Whatever Truman's personal feelings. he was powerless to remove J.

Edgar Hoover because of the Black Cabinet. This was a file of tape
recordings, photos, and other evidence of sexual and financial peccadil-
loes of every important politician in Washington. The Black Cabinet
enabled the FBI budget, which mounted each year, to be passed without
question by an overeager Congress. Realizing his own vulnerability, from
his first years as Director of the infant Bureau of Investigation, Hoover
had devoted much of the Bureau's activities to amassing -crucial informa-
tion about anyone who might become a threat to him. This "job insurance"
kept him in office until the day he died.

In 1971, some of Nixon's aides. wary of the ease with which the FBI wire
tapped and burglarized at will, feared that their activities might be record-
ed. They demanded that Hoover be retired. To Nixon's surprise, Hoover
flatly refused. His life now became a paranoiac daily struggle to retain
power, and his aides later described hint as "completely insane." But
nevertheless, he continued to obtain daily information on Nixon's activi-
ties. A few weeks before the Watergate burglary, Hoover obtained from
a Mexico City operative photos of men passing large sums of money, and
bank statements showing its origin. This was locked in his desk. Late at
night, he received a call at his home that his office was to be entered very
shortly. He hurried to the office to remove this material. The burglars
already there, struggled with him He was either badly beaten or suffered
a heart attack. Still breathing, he was returned to his home, where, on
outside instructions, he was smothered. Like Stalin, he was said to have
died of a stroke.

The Black Cabinet was divided up among

three Nixon aides

The second of our heroes is the late Senator Harry Byrd. He too was

revered for his anti- Communist stand, and he was nominated for Vice
President on a conservative ticket. Born in Martinsburg W. Va. it is
unlikely that anyone would have heard of him, had he not been fortunate
enough to grow up there with a very clever Jew named Lewis Lichten-
stein Strauss. After peddling shoes in the Piedmont area. young Strauss
suddenly turned up in Washington as the acting director of the US Food

Administration. This was, surprising, as a horde or Jews had taken over

America's wartime government under Woodrow Wilson. Baruch was in

charge of industry. Meyer was in charge of finance. Lehman was in
charge of procurement; why shouldn't L. L. Strauss be in charge of food?

Having no occupation, Byrd wrote to his prominent friend that he was
thinking of going into politics. Strauss responded with a sum which
launched Byrd's career. He became Governor of Virginia, and was ap-
pointed to the U. S. Senate to make some changes in the Federal Reserve

Act. He became Chairman of the Senate Banking and Currency Commit-

tee. This was very convenient for Strauss, who now was a partner of
Kuhn Loeb Co. the New York affiliate of the Rothschilds. Strauss built a
huge estate in the Virginia hunt country, and continued to rule Virginia
through the Byrd organization.

Harry Byrd, like so many other devoted public servants, had also become
a multi-millionaire, with estates which made him the largest apple grower
in the world. He owned two newspapers, several banks, and he had large
stock holdings which had been picked up very cheaply after the Crash of
1929. Through apt public relations, Byrd became known as the conserva-
tive spokesman of the Democratic Party, to corral any popular reaction
against the excesses of the New Deal. As such, he remained a trusted aid
of FDR while maintaining a relentless public attitude against New Deal
spending. On several occasions, he delivered impassioned speeches
against huge appropriations bills, and then cast the deciding vote in
favour of their passage. Having built a state bureaucracy which controlled
every hamlet in Virginia, Byrd never had to campaign for re-election. He
contented himself with .an annual picnic to which the faithful were
invited. This affair was like the Mayday Parade in Moscow.

The status of various Virginia hopefuls was determined by how far they

sat from Byrd.

Byrd also maintained a vociferous opposition to Communism. He as-
tounded the faithful patriots by ram-roding the confirmation through the
Senate of Baruch's secretary, Anna Rosenberg, as Assistant Secretary of
Defence. She had belonged to some front organizations. Byrd left a
fortune of forty million dollars, all earned during public service. This had

been settled in trusts, so that his taxable estate was $268,000, a sum
which would not have bought his palatial home, Rosemont.

Harry Byrd Jr., who had spent twenty-four years in the State Senate
without introducing a bill, now decided to retire. Strauss, who still
controlled Virginia, told him he must take his father's seat in the U. S.
Senate, as the name was useful to them. Today, a reluctant Prince Hal sits
in Washington, in the hereditary family Senate office. He also inherited
the name of "conservative" from his father.

Our third hero of the right wing is General Douglas MacArthur. A sincere
patriot and a fine soldier, MacArthur had been away for too many years.
He failed to apprise himself of the situation when he returned. After
having ruled Japan, where he exercised a hundred times more personal
power than the deposed Emperor Hirohito had ever known, MacArthur
returned to the battlefield as commander of the U. S., or as they were now
known, the United Nations forces. He soon found that his battle plans,
which were sent to Washington, were daily relayed to the Communists.
MacArthur then attacked the Communists without informing Washington.
and severely defeated them. He was not only fighting the Red Koreans
and the Red Chinese, he was now fighting Anna Rosenberg and Harry

Truman. The Jews demanded that MacArthur be fired, but Truman was

afraid he decided to meet MacArthur on neutral ground, at Wake Island.
Here he demanded that MacArthur make no more attacks on the Commu-
nists without notifying Washington ahead of time. MacArthur agreed, but
when he returned to Korea, he again attacked and defeated the Commu-
nists without notifying Washington. Truman announced that MacArthur
was fired.

General MacArthur now stated that he was flying to Washington. This
terrified Truman and the guilty Communists. Paranoid as usual, they saw
the man on the white horse riding to arrest and execute them. On the day
that he landed, I was sitting at a Washing ton club with the president of
the National Press Club and a number of correspondents. The State
Department correspondent of the Washington Post informed us that he
had tried to see Secretary of State Dean Acheson and had been told that

Acheson was at his Maryland estate, with Secret Service men with

machine guns standing behind the door. Truman waited with a few
cronies at the White House in an upstairs room for the approaching
debacle. When MacArthur's plane landed, every. one, both anti-Commu-
nists and Communists, expected him to march to the White House and
place Truman under arrest. Instead, MacArthur, accustomed to delega-
tions of humble Japanese waiting upon him with their requests, supposed
that a delegation of Americans would meet him requesting that he form a
government. No such delegation appeared and MacArthur quietly retired,
becoming another ex soldier.

While these three men, who did nothing for the patriotic movement,

achieved national fame, many others, such as Joe McWilliams, who
worked on the biological theory of the. Jew, are forgotten. Should we
wander that so few young people are attracted to our movement, when
our patron saints are such cardboard figures?

Shoichi Yokoi, in the jungles of Guam, endured a trial of self and culture,
and won. Would any of us have had the courage, the tenacity, the
endurance, to separate ourselves from our culture, our family, our friends,
the environment to which we arc accustomed, and subject ourselves to the
rigors and hardships of a struggle for mere existence, and have come out
of such an experience with all our values intact? I cannot answer this
question. I do know that our people have the potential for greater distinc-
tion than this. However, it is obvious that under present conditions we are
not living up to our abilities. Our forefathers, as a whole, lived closer to
their potential than the vast majority of people today. If it is physically
possible, we can do anything, yes, we can even go to the moon. But how
are we to free ourselves from the vice imprisoning our culture?

This year, let us consider what we as individuals and groups can do to

assist in the rebirth of our culture and our people.

And let us learn from the example of a humble Japanese soldier the

meaning of duty, devotion, self-sacrifice, and responsibility.

Let us follow the example of Shoichi Yokoi, and, in every hour. of every
day, act only for our existence, our culture, and our people.
