V360 - GSM - SIM card latch issue.

PROBLEM
Service is aware of an issue, identified in the GSM V360 LATAM MOL analysis, with customer returns of “SIM card not recognized, In
Check SIM” complaints due to an SIM card latch issue.
The root cause analysis identified a side detent flanges deformed
causing the SIM latch front tip to tilt upwards, thus affecting the holding of the SIM card.
SOLUTION
The SIM card latch (Motorola PN# 5570373A03) must be exchanged by a new good one.
FIELD SERVICE ACTION
Customer Returns:
When servicing any V360 with a customer complaint of “SIM card issue” then:
a.
Proceed a general function check in the phone, looking for SIM card bad contact due to latch.

b.
If the complaint is confirmed change the SIM card latch by a new good one.
c.
If it is still not working proceed to normal troubleshooting techniques.

Have V360 SIM card latch PN# 5570373A03 in stock.
CALL CENTER ACTION
When receiving complaints about “SIM card issue not recognized, Insert SIM or Check SIM” issue on V360
phones, the Call Center should direct customer to have phone serviced at an Authorized Service Center
