SIM Card Detection

1.

Download SW image to the faulty unit.

2.

Exam whether the contact between SIM card and SIM connector is poor or not.

3.

Measure SIM_REG

(2.85V)

during phone power up, if it is not there. Then, check AUL

output for SIM_REG.

4.

In case SIM_REG is there, need check if SIM_CLK, SIM_DIO and SIM_RST are normal or
not.

5.

If not, need check the connectivity of LTE2.

Phone Hang Up

1.

Try to dump image from the faulty unit to PC for further analysis if possible. Then, try to
download SW image to the faulty unit. If the faulty unit can not power up, need to
check LTE2 (U800) and flash (U701),

2.

After SW image is dumped from faulty unit, try to download the image to a good unit. If
the good unit can power on, means that there is something wrong with LTE2 for the
faulty unit. Otherwise, both LTE2 (U800) and flash (U701) are possible damaged.
