Full Lesson – How to Tune by Ear! – Ben Lowrey

Hi Guys. You made a good choice in downloading this lesson
because being able to tune the guitar is very important. It is worth the
effort because many guitarists don’t spend enough time getting their
guitar in tune and their playing sounds terrible because of it! – When
you get good at tuning by ear, you should be able to do it in less than
a minute. It may help to have an electric tuner as well to double check
yourself. I use both. If I need to tune quickly (between songs on
stage) I tune by ear. If I have a little longer (before the gig) I use the
electric tuner for better accuracy. This will take a bit of practice until
you’re able to tune quickly and accurately, but it’s a skill worth
learning! (it saves taking an electric tuner to parties!)
