KinTek Global Kinetic Explorer"!
Installation Instructions
Thank you for purchasing a license for KinTek Explorer and for supporting our software
development. Enclosed you will find one USB key for each software license. The program can
be installed on multiple computers (even a mixture of PCs and MACs), but can only be run when
the USB key is present. We are continually improving the software and adding new features, so
check regularly for updates.
To install the software:
1. Download the appropriate version of the software from http://kintek-corp.com/kinetic_explorer/
There are three versions of the software:
For PC: KinTek_Explorer_Pro_win32.zip
For Mac Power PC: KinTek_Explorer_Pro_macosx_ppc.tar.gz
For newer Mac Intel processor: KinTek_Explorer_Pro_macosx_intel.tar.gz
2. Uncompress the file and place the KinTek_Explorer_Pro folder anywhere on your hard drive.
There are two subdirectories:
docs contains the instruction manual  please take the time to read through the instructions
to learn the full power of the software. There are several unusual features of the software
that intuitively obvious.
_kin contains the examples folder with 40 example files and the rawData folder showing
several examples of data file formats for importing your data.
Double click on the "KinTek_Explorer" file to
execute the program.
The program should open with an
example file such as shown at the right. If
not, click open and select a file from the
examples folder.

citing your use of the software in publications.
