Updating E-Portal Drivers
These instructions assume that E-Portal is already installed onto your PC.
1. Unzip the file 'E-Portal Drivers.zip' to any folder.
2. Connect the USB Adaptor to an E-Portal Compatible marker.
3. Connect the USB cable to your PC and to the USB Adaptor.
4. Switch on the marker.
5. Go to the Device Manager in Windows (Start>Computer>System Properties>Device Manager)
6. Expand "Universal Serial Bus Controllers'.
7. Right-click 'Eclipse USB Adaptor'.
8. Click 'Update Driver Software'.
9. Click 'Browse my computer...'.
10. Browse to the folder that you unzipped the drivers to.
11. Click Next and the drivers will be updated.
12. Run E-Portal to test that the drivers work. The logo for the connected marker should appear in the top left of the E-Portal window.
If the above does not work then do the following -
1. Connect your marker to your computer and switch it on.
2. Go to the device manager.
3. Expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
4. Right click onto Eclipse USB Adaptor.
5. Click Uninstall Driver.
6. Click Action > Scan for Hardware Changes on the top menu.
7. Device Manager will find an Unknown Device – right click on it.
8. Click Update Driver Software.
9. Browse to the folder that you unzipped the drivers to - not the x64 folder, the folder above it (EP2Drivers3-2 by default).
11. Click Next and the drivers will be updated.
12. Run E-Portal to test that the drivers work. The logo for the connected marker should appear in the top left of the E-Portal window.
