Bonus Guide 1: Setting Up Your Seed Website
from Scratch
I created a brand new social fans reseller website (I ve never sold this
design and don t plan to!) for you that you can download here:
https://s3.amazonaws.com/cutcopycash/backup-www_nsx-24gt1_com-
2011_09_20-2bpsiyc6km.zip
You just need the BackupBuddy plugin to install it.
BackupBuddy download (my aff link):

(Just shoot me an email with your transaction ID)
But if you don t mind spending the time building everything yourself, here s
what you do:
Step 1: Decide on your service
First, you need to decide on what type of service you re offering. There are
dozens to choose from, but I recommend social media marketing services,
since that s an extremely hot and profitable niche right now. For more ideas
on what services to offer, take a look at the Warriors for Hire section in
warrior forums and see which ones are getting a lot of activity.

Currently, some popular ones include: Facebook fans, Twitter followers,
Youtube views, Google +1 s etc.
From my experience, selling Facebook fans has been the most profitable.
Step 2: Brainstorm Brand-able Names
Once you decide what type of service you re going to be offering, you need
to come up with a website name. I recommend a branded name vs. an
keyword optimized name like order-Facebook-fans-here.com because you
want to appear professional to your clients. For this reason, you also want
to choose a .com domain.
This is what I recommend doing:
Open up a new text document and brainstorm as many names as possible.
Write all the names as one word because we re going to be checking for
domain availability. Don t worry if you think it might already be taken. Just
write down any name that comes to mind that you ll consider using for your
site s name.
Go to http://www.domaintools.com/buy/availability-check/bulk/ and copy
paste your list of possible names. Check the box but aren t registered with
.com and hit submit.

The search results will show every domain that has NOT been registered.
You ll find that a lot of good names have already been taken so that s why
you need to brain dump every single idea you have.
For a fan reseller site for example, you may want to include the words
fans, social, social fans .
Step 3: Register Your Domain and Set Up Hosting
Once you decide on a good name for your business, you re going to
register it with NameCheap.com or Godaddy.com.
I ve grown to hate Godaddy and their 9 million upsells after you purchase a
domain. I only use Name Cheap now.
Be sure to use a coupon code to save a little bit of money on your domain.
Do a Google search for namecheap coupons to find the current one.

If you need hosting, I recommend Hostgator.
Once you have your domain and hosting, change your domain s name
servers info to your webhosts .
If you re using NameCheap, simply go into your account, select your
domain and click Domain Name Server Setup on the left sidebar. Enter
your Nameserver info and you re all set.
Now go into your cpanel- http://www.yoursite.com/cpanel and click add
subdomain . Enter your url and password to create a new subdomain.
Step 4: Set Up Wordpress
Once you ve done that, you want to install a Wordpress blog on that
domain. Do that by going into cpanel again and finding a program called
Fantastico or Softalucous. Select Wordpress and the new domain you
want to install it on.
Once you ve installed Wordpress, you want to find a template. Again, you
want your site to look professional. So we re going to find a business
themed template. I really like web 2.0 layouts.
Here are some good free business themes for Wordpress:

If you don t mind paying some extra money, you can use a premium,
professional template with more functionality. Here are a few paid themes I
recommend:
" Garuda - http://themeforest.net/item/garuda-portfolio-and-business-
wordpress-theme/106987?ref=90014
" Showtime - http://themeforest.net/item/showtime-business-and-
portfolio-wordpress-theme/117367?ref=90014
" Inspire - http://themeforest.net/item/inspire-dynamic-business-ee-
theme/183671?ref=90014
I like Showtime and I use this theme when I m building done-for-you
websites.
Step 5: Set Up Your Logo and Core Plugins
Once you ve installed your theme in Wordpress (Appearance Ä…ð Themes
Ä…ð Install themes), you ll need a new logo. I make all my logos in
Photoshop (you can use GiMP if you don t have Photoshop). My logos are
simply the site s name plus a relevant graphic from Google images.
You don t need anything too fancy, but remember that you do want to look
professional. If you can t design your logo yourself, hire someone else to do
it by posting a contest thread. You can get a professional looking logo
designed for $15-30.

Upload your logo to your blog and install these plugins by going to
PluginsÄ…ðAdd NewÄ…ð Search and searching for/installing these:
" Yoast Wordpress SEO
" Duplicate post
" Contact Form 7
" All in one favicon
Step 6: Set Up Your Pages
The next step is to add content to your new site. Get rid of the hello world
post and add 5 new pages: About, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, FAQ
and Contact Us. You ll need to fill out these pages one by one.
If you don t know how to write any the about page, find another website
that s offering the service you are planning to offer and copy their content
structure (don t copy their entire page word for word obviously).
Use this website to generate your terms and privacy page:
http://www.bennadel.com/coldfusion/privacy-policy-generator.htm
Use Contact Form 7 to set up your contact us details and insert the short
code in your contact us , page. Depending on how much time you re on

your computer, you may also want to get a Skype account and post your
availability and username on this page.
Your FAQ is going to be a list of potential questions your clients may have.
Browse around other websites that sell the same service and copy the
structure of their FAQ (again, don t copy everything word for word).
Now, go into Yoast SEO Ä…ð Titles and change your post titles to
%%Title%% - YourSiteName Also choose Force title rewrite to make
sure the title structure is consistent throughout your website.
Later, after setting up your homepage, you can come back here and
change the homepage title as well.

Step 7: Set Up Your Favicon
Remember that you want your site to look as professional as possible, so
having a favicon will help it maintain that image. If you don t already know,
a favicon is the little square image that shows up on your browser s tab.
This icon helps users remember your site better while looking more
professional.
You can easily set one up by going into the All-in-one-favicon plugin and
choosing the square image you want to use. I recommend choosing a
picture that s related to your site s name or theme. For example, for Build
My Fans, I am using a picture of a hammer.
A good place to find premade favicons is http://www.favicon.cc. Simply do
a search, download the one you want and upload it to your page using the
All-in-one Favicon plugin. Or, you can create a new square image as a
.png, .gif or .jpg file and the plugin will automatically shrink it down.
So now the foundation of your site is set up. You want to add a page that
includes your services and pricing. If you are offering multiple services, it s
a good idea to have a different page for each. For example, have one page
for Facebook fans, another for Twitter followers and so on.
How you create the page is up to you, but I like to have a description of the
benefits of the service, a pricing chart, order buttons and testimonials.
Obviously, you won t have any testimonials when you first start, but you re

going to ask your clients for them down the line and post them
EVERYWHERE on your site. We ll talk more about this later.
How you set it up your page is completely up to you. All you need is a
PayPal merchant account (totally free) to receive orders.
Again, I recommend looking at other websites that provide the service and
copying their layout. If you re going to be reselling fans, followers, +1 votes
and video views, I give you full permission to IMITATE (not steal) the
content and layout on one of my site that I ve sold,
http://www.buildmyfans.com.
Step 8: Decide on your pricing
First, decide on which packages you re going to offer and their prices. The
prices will differ depending on the service you re providing but here are
rough estimates on the baseline cost for different types of services. Keep in
mind that these are always changing so you ll need to check with various
suppliers.
" 1000 Facebook fans - $40 for USA fans, $25 for worldwide
" 1000 Twitter followers - $35 for USA followers, $20 for worldwide
" 5000 Youtube views - $10
" 50 Google +1 s - $5

I m not too familiar with other types of services such as backlinking, article
submission, content rewriting, etc. Simply visit other sites that offer these
types of services and see how much they are charging.
The rate they are paying their supplier are most likely around half of what
they are charging clients. I also recommend you charging your clients at
least double whatever you are paying your suppliers.
So if you are paying $40 for 1000 fans, your display price should be $79 for
your clients. You notice that some other sites offer really cheap rates. But
believe me, they are getting their services from crappy suppliers who can
offer lower prices. Plus, higher priced items have higher perceived value,
especially when your website looks really professional, so don t make the
mistake of thinking that pricing your products/services cheaper means
more sales.
You want to create a pricing table with the package details outlined:
Here are some resources to get you started:
" Pricing table plugin - http://codecanyon.net/item/premium-pricing-
tables-plugin/163730?ref=90014
" Alternatively, the Showtime theme that I recommended earlier has a
built in pricing table that looks pretty good
(http://themeforest.net/item/showtime-business-and-portfolio-
wordpress-theme/117367?ref=90014)

If you don t want to pay for a nice looking pricing table plugin, you can
always create a table in Wordpress yourself and manually enter all the
features and prices. This is a free table creation plugin you can use:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-table-reloaded/
Step 9: Set Up Your Payment Options
Once you have that set up, you want to add payment buttons. There are
two ways to do this.
1. Paypal Merchant
You can upgrade to a PayPal merchant account to set up add to cart or
buy now buttons that allow people to buy your stuff.
You ll need to create a different button for each of your packages.
So if you have 4 different packages say 500 fans, 1000 fans, 2000 fans,
and 5000 fans, you need 4 different buttons with their respective pricing.

I don t like the buttons that Paypal gives you, so I prefer creating my own
payment buttons. Here is a list of free web 2.0 button generators:
http://www.siamcomm.com/web-tools/6-online-web-2-0-button-generators/
If you go this route, you need to set up a thank you page where your
clients can enter in their order information. Ask for their name, email, and
relevant order information. You can create a form with the Contact Form 7
plugin and set that page as the thank you page for each of your PayPal
buttons.
2. Wufoo Forms
The other option is setting up an order form with http://www.Wufoo.com
and this is the option I recommend. Wufoo allows you to easily create web
forms for your site. There are a ton of customization options and it s
automatically integrated with Paypal payments.
You will receive an instant email every time someone orders and the
payment is automatically delivered to your account. The first 5 payments
are free after that, you ll need to upgrade your account.
©2011. Copy Cut Cash. All Rights Reserved.
If you can spare $29/month, I definitely recommend this option because it
will save you a lot of time and headache setting up your payment system.
So after you receive each order, you want to send an automatic email to
the buyer confirming that you received their order and process it ASAP.
You can do this in Wufoo by in edit formÄ…ð form settings Ä…ð customize
confirmation email. Just write something simple like:

Alternatively if you are redirecting to your thank you page created by
Contact Form 7, you can do this by going into the plugin settings,
Ä…ð messages and editing the Sender s message was sent successfully
