IBM® Rational® Method Composer (RMC) application is a process customization and publishing tool that enables process engineers to accelerate delivery of customized software development processes and leverage the best practices captured in the RUP® application.  RMC helps you customize RUP for the precise requirements of your organization by leveraging your own expertise, practices, and internal knowledge. Built on the Eclipse platform - Rational Method Composer (RMC) is specifically designed for method content management with functions such as form-based authoring, content browsing, content search, and import and export of method content. RMC supports fine-grained publish-time configuration of content to meet the varied needs of different projects and end users. RMC's powerful Content Plug-in feature allows existing content to be extended and modified via plug-ins, simplifying method content management and maintenance.
