Subject: Electronic Governor Control Options for MSTS Ignition
Service parts are now available to reduce governed engine R.P.M. for units with G.M. 4.3L V-6 engines
that incorporate an MSTS ignition system. For G.M. V-6 units that are equipped with H.E.I. ignition, refer
to Gram EE00043 R0l.
Different parts are required for fuel injected engines versus L.P.G. factory equipped engines. Refer to
the correct fuel system when ordering controllers or kits.
Three governed speeds are available. Fuel injected kits are complete with necessary parts and
instructions.

NOTE: 1900 R.P.M. is below stall speed on powershift transmissions. Insure that this governed speed will
not cause problems in negotiating ramps or other types of power requirements for the customer.

SERVICE CAUTION: The fuel injected kits contain a new EPROM; careless handling of this part can
damage it due to static electricity discharge. Read kit instructions prior to opening special
packaging of this EPROM.
