^BACKGROUND: It´s June 1, 1942. A mild and warm
June in the southermost part of the Crimea Peninsula.
But Suddenly the air is filled with enourmous noise.
The artillery preperation for the storm on the
world´s largest fortress - Sewastopol - has begun.

^The 11th Army of the German Wehrmacht, commanded by
the famous General Erich von Manstein, started his
offensive. Von Manstein, one of the major Blitzkrieg
strategists, set up a complete different strategy.
He focused the attack on the use of heavy and
heaviest artillery to deal with the fortifications.

^STRATEGY: Manstein used a high number of artillery
batteries and the air support of the VIII Fliegerkorps
to achieve his goals. You may use your aircraft
and artillery units in combination.

^OBJECT: Conquer the territory that remained under the
control of the Red Army after the Spring Offensive,
and destroy all remaining Soviet forces in the area.

^SPECIAL NOTES:
^Technologies cannot be acquired by conquest or exchange.
^Negotiations required the permission of both High Commands,
which means they aren´t allowed.
^Government switching is disabled.
