Hidden Games Tutorial

Introduction
------------

In this tutorial you will learn how to create a list of hiden games, so you can keep games .zip
files but do not want others to play them. There is no password, no encrypted files though. If you
are looking for a better protection, I advise you not to have those games.


Adding Games
------------

1. Click on "Customize" menu item in "Games Filters" main menu, "Hidden Games" sub-menu
The "Hidden Games" editor window will open

2. Click on "Search Games" tab. Add as many keywords as you like in the "Enter Keyword"
edit box (click on the "Ok" button to add each keyword, or hit Enter after typing it)

3. When you are done with the keywords, click on the "Begin Search" button.
Wait a moment, while the games matching the keywords are being scanned, and added to
the "Games Found" list

4. After that, you can delete games from the "Games Found" list, if you want.
Select the game you want to delete, and then click on the "Delete Selected" button or
hit the "Delete" key on your keyboard

5. When you satisfied with the list, click on the "Add Games To List" button.
All games will be added into the "Hidden Games List" list

6. You can still delete games from the "Hidden Games List", if you want.
Select the game you want to delete, and then click on the "Delete Selected" button or
hit the "Delete" key on your keyboard

7. When you are done, click on the "Ok" button to close the editor window, or click on the "Cancel"
button to abort


Editing The List
----------------

1. Click on "Customize" menu item, "Games Filters" main menu

2. Click on "Hidden Games List" tab

3. To delete games, select a game on the list, and click on the "Delete Selected" button
or hit the "Delete" key on your keyboard

4. To add more games, repeat the steps 2 thru 6 from the "Adding Games" section


Activating / Deactivating The Hidden List
-----------------------------------------

1. Click on "Hidden Games List Enabled" menu item, "Games Filters" main menu
The games list will be reloaded


Important Notes And Tips
------------------------

1. You can access the editor even if hidden list is enabled

2. When starting the frontend with hidden list activated, the games will be hidden, but they are
still loaded in the list

3. If you change the keywords list, the new list will be saved/restored
file: "\ini_files\hidden_games_keywords.txt"
