VEHICLE PREPARATION
Open the bonnet
.
Remove the style cover (14)
.
Disconnect the battery + terminal
.
Special feature - Dual battery
:
disconnect the battery (ignition off)
A battery must be disconnected
:
1 minute(s) after the ignition was switched off (fan not operating)
1 minute(s) after the fan has stopped (if operating)
IMPERATIVE :
DISCONNECT THE STARTING BATTERY ; remove the auxiliary battery (15) supply fuse to cut off the electrical supply
.

FITTING : ON-BOARD NAVIGATION SYSTEM ECU
Remove the luggage compartment carpet (16)
.
Unclip the side fixings (17) of the boot sill trim (18)
.
Pass the tool [19] - (-).1339 into the hole located at (20), then pull towards the inside to unclip the trim at the bottom (3 clips)
.
Then pull the trim upwards to detach the clips (18)
.
Disconnect the luggage compartment light connector
.
Remove the boot sill trim (18)
.

VEHICLE WITH CD CHANGER
Unclip
:
the fasteners (23)
the fasteners (24)
Move aside the boot side trim (25) then release it from the swan neck mounting (26) and the boot seal (27)
.
Position the cut-out gauge (8) on the trim (25)
.
Mark the contour
.
Cut out the trim following the line (28)
.
Remove the bolt (29)
.
Pull on, and then release, the cd changer (30)
.
Disconnect the connector
.
Remove the fixings (31) from the support (32)
.
Remove the support (32)
.
Replace the original support (32) with support (10) : Part No. 6560.K2
.
Fit the support (10) using 3 nuts (11) : Part No. 6935.A6
.
Reconnect the connector (40) to the cd changer (30)
.
Slide the cd changer in the support at the bottom
.
Refit the cd changer using the bolt (29)
.

VEHICLE WITHOUT CD CHANGER
Unclip
:
the fasteners (33)
the fasteners (34)
Unclip
:
the fasteners (35)
the fasteners (36)
Partially move aside the rear parcel shelf (37)
.
Detach the side trim (38)
.
Remove the trim (38)
.
Replace the original boot side trim (38) with trim (12) : Part No. 7465.YK
.
Cut out the trim at the top following the pre-marking (39)
.
Fit the support (10) using 3 nuts (11) : Part No. 6935.A6
.

ALL MODELS
Unclamp
:
the blue 26-way connector MQS (41)already on the main harness (42)
the grey 1-way connector (43) already on the main harness (42)
Connect
:
the blue 26-way connector (41) on the satellite navigation system (1)
the grey 1-way connector (43) on the ecu (1)
Slide the ecu in the support (10) at the top
.
Check that the side pins are correctly clipped (44)
.

FITTING : GPS AERIAL
Using a spatula, unclip the speaker grille (45)
.
Special feature : Vehicle fitted with rear speaker HIFI
:
remove the fittings (46) under the rear shelf
press on the 2 clips (47) to release the speaker upwards
disconnect the speaker connector
remove the loudspeaker
Through the speaker opening, position the gps magnetic aerial (2) in the indentation provided for this purpose
.
Connect the connector (50) in the aerial (2) to the grey (49) 1-way connector already on the rear shelf panel
.

FITTING : NAVIGATION AUDIO LINE TRANSFORMER
Engage the tool [1] - (-).1212 at point (51a) and point (51b) and pull towards you to unclip the centre panel (51)
.
Disconnect the connector
.
Remove the panel
.
Remove the fasteners (52)
.
Release the display (53)
.
Disconnect the connector
.
Remove the display
.
Fit the audio system line transformer (7) on the prepared support (54)
.

ACTIVATION
Carry out the following operations
:
switch on the satellite navigation system (satellite navigation system display and ecu light up)
initialise the system by inserting the CD ROM in the satellite navigation ECU
drive in such a way that gps is recognised (this occurs between 2 and 20 minutes)
When the satellite reception is good, the indication GPS will appear in bold in the globe
.
If the satellite reception is not good, the indication GPS will appear in grey in the globe
.
NOTE :
the GPS recognition (globe) will only appear on the base screen (date mode), or in radio, cassette or CD player mode, but not during guidance
.
10 -
REFITTING THE COMPONENTS
Proceed in the reverse order to removal
.
Special feature - Dual battery
:
do not reconnect the battery in the ignition controlled positive position
after reconnecting the battery, reinitialise the ecus (audio equipment, displays/multifunction screen) and the one-touch electric windows
check the correct electrical operation of the equipment
