Size of pileus: 50-200 x 30-70 mm, does not expand fully
Colour of pileus: white scaly with ochre centre
Lamellae: free; L= >60
Stipe: up to 100-300 x 10-20 mm, white
Ring: present on lower part of stipe
Smell: none
Spores: ellipsoid or ovoid, 8.5-12.8 x 5.7-8.6(-9.3) µm; Q= 1.10-1.65, av. Q= 1.35-1.55; av. L= 10.6-11.9, av. B= 7.7-7.9 µm
Base of spores: rounded to slightly conical
Germ pore: slightly eccentric
Basidia: 4-spored, 20-43 x 9-13 µm
Pseudoparaphyses: 5-8
Pleurocystidia: absent or sparse and then oblong, utriform, subcylindric, 70-110 x 20-45 µm
Cheilocystidia: ellipsoid, oblong, utriform, 35-100 x 20-40 µm
Veil: cylindrical elements 40-200 x 7-18(-27) µm.
Clamp-connections: pseudoclamps.
Habitat: on the ground, ruderal places, solitary.
