The service pack installs fine on any known Windows XP
installations, provided you change CD keys to an unknown
key.

To change your CD Key do the following:

1) Start -> run -> regedit
2) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WPAEvents
3) Edit the value OOBETimer, change the last digit from 97 to 98
4) Start -> run -> %systemdir%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a
5) Choose activate by telephone
6) Choose change product key
7) Enter: VHGJJ-6WK8X-JT2DH-BK6JV-PVFQ4
(Or any other generated Windows XP key)
8) Close the program and restart your computer
9) Start -> run -> %systemdir%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a,
verify that your XP has been activated.
10) Install SP1
