TEACHER S NOTES:
Aim: to provide further practice of this, that, these and those and
asking for and understanding prices. This worksheet is designed
to be used in conjunction with unit 4.2.
Time: 40 minutes
Materials: copy of the worksheet for each student
1 Ask students to read the sentences and correct the mistakes. Emphasise
that the mistakes are always with this, that, those and these. Elicit
answers from the class.

2 Students work with a partner to write four sentences using this, that,
these and those of their own. Monitor as they write to check they are
writing correct sentences.
3 Students write their own list of thing and prices. In pairs, they ask each
other how much each thing is and then respond. Monitor to check that
they are using the language correctly.
