Curtis Mark Rimmerman, M.D., M.B.A., is the Medical Director for the Cleveland Clinic Westlake, Lakewood, and Avon Pointe Family Health Centers and is a staff cardiologist at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He is the initial holder of the Gus P. Karos Chair in Clinical Cardiovascular Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and the subspecialty of Cardiovascular Diseases. He is also certified by the National Board of Echocardiography. His specialty interests include clinical cardiology, electrocardiography, echocardiography, and valvular heart disease. Dr. Rimmerman completed his undergraduate studies at Case Western Reserve University. He continued his education through a scholarship at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England before returning to the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine for his Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Rimmerman completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee followed by a Cardiology Fellowship at the Krannert Institute of Cardiology at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. He continued his education while on the professional staff at Cleveland Clinic at the Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management, earning a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Dr. Rimmerman was appointed to the Professional Staff of Cleveland Clinic in 1993. Dr. Rimmerman is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a member of the American Society of Echocardiography and the American College of Physician Executives. Anil K. Jain, M.D., received his medical degree from Northwestern University after his undergraduate training in Biomedical Engineering. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and served as Chief Medical Resident at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He is a Staff member of the Department of General Internal Medicine.
