FM tuner application built in.
Due FM function that is required headset as antenna to capture FM
signal, please insert headset into connector before open FM
application.

Satellite data update application built in
This application mainly to minimize the amount of time it takes your
GPS receiver to acquire a fix. Basically it works is a little technical;
The chipset predicts a weeks worth of ephemerides (location data from
GPS satellites) and caches them for future use.
The detail operating procedure, please refer to Annex A
Notes: To make both applications mentioned with best performance, the GPS
firmware is required to be updated, the detail operation please refer to
special operation item.
1. G500 OS update notification:
Required files:
EUU_G500_XXX_R01_100_0097 EE.EXE (XXX stand for language version)
G500_GPS_LoaderV1.2.exe (update tool)
5X55320201.bin (GPS firmware)
Special operation items:
Due GPS firmware update is with risk, please read below instruction
carefully before updating, if you are not sure with how to update it, please
refer to reseller or distributor for helping !
Be sure the USB cable is properly connected between PC and Cradle.
Put G500 on cradle and be sure the ActiveSync is activated with GREEN
sign.
Copy both G500_GPS_LoaderV1.2.exe and 5X55320201.bin into My
devices folder of G500.
Run G500_GPS_LoaderV1.2.exe and an interface would shown as below
Clicking select icon to find GPS firmware file as below shown
Clicking GPS firmware file and then update to process updating
 Wait until update status to 100% , the serene would show as
Finally, clicking  OK to complete GPS firmware updating.
Normal operation items:
Make sure use PC with XP system (better with service pack2) for OS
updating.
Disable all kind of firewall before OS updating.
Be sure your PC or laptop already installed ActiveSync 4.0 or above version
Be sure the USB cable is properly connected between PC and Cradle.
Put G500 on cradle and be sure the ActiveSync is activated with GREEN
sign.
Please backup all necessary data on PC side before OS updating process.
Be sure the power adapter is properly connection during the updating
process.
Remove miniSD card before OS updating.
Run EUU_G500_XXX_R01_100_0097EE.EXE and following the
instructions show on screen to complete OS updating.
Annex A
Open the Satellite data update application form start/program/GPS
Put G500 on cradle and be sure the ActiveSync is activated with
GREEN sign.
Click download from manual update to get ephemeris file and press
update button, once the ephemeris file is update completely, My device
folder will include a file call  ephdata as below shown
Please set up COM port to COM 7 and Baud rate to 38400 on
navigation software ( this would be depend on customer their own
choice), then start search GPS signal to fix.
