EXTENT OF WORK:

• The Backup Control Unit for the Alpha Lubrication System was replaced with a new BCU supplied by MAN Diesel A/S Copenhagen.

• The Alpha Lubrication System was after installation of the new Backup Control Unit tested by means of a trigger simulator.

The system was tested running in AUTO, MCU as well as BCU mode without any failures observed.

Slowdown function of the system was also tested and found to be working according to the MAN Diesel A/S design instruction.
