VACANCIES

I am writing to enquire whether you have any vacancies within your organization, either now or possibly in the near future, for an individual of my skills and experience.

As you will see form my enclosed CV, I graduated form Gdansk University in 2004 having spent five years studying for an MSc in Environmental Chemistry. The first four years of degree were spend undertaking a wide of modules including Organic, Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry of Environment. The fifth year was then spent in laboratory environment enabling me to become more proficient in POPs whilst also becoming actively involved in research and scientific projects.

My master thesis was entitled Hazardous waste management on a base of Polychlorinated Biphenyls and was conducted under supervision of Professor Jerzy Falandysz, an internationally renewed expert on PCBs.

I am currently employed as a Laboratory Assistant for Salamon & Seaber in Whitechaple, a role involving responsibility for the routine and non-routine analysis of food. Although not directly related to the type of work I wish to specialise in, this role has enabled me to gain experience in the practical application of the various laboratory skills and techniques learned during my studies.
