TERM PAPER SYNOPSIS
Name: Praveen Verma
Roll No.: RE6912B51
Topic: Principle of Magnetic Resonance
INTRODUCTION
Magnetic resonance is the resonance of electrons or atoms or molecules or nuclei to radiation frequencies as a result of space quantization in a magnetic field. In other words, the phenomenon of absorption of certain frequencies of radio and microwave radiation by atoms placed in a magnetic field. The pattern of absorption reveals molecular structure. Magnetic Resonance (MR), which has no known biological hazard, is capable of producing high resolution thin tomographic images in any plane and blocks of 3-dimensional information. It can be used to study blood flow and to gain information about the composition of important materials seen and quantified on dimensionally accurate images.
In my term paper I have given the introduction of MAGNETISM, RESONANCE and MAGNETIC RESONANCE. After the introduction there is application of the magnetic resonance like magnetic resonance imaging, in solid polymers etc... And I am also hoping to give the working of practical application of the magnetic resonance like MRI.
