Teacher comes to the class, says “hello” and asks students how they feel. Then, she checks the list and writes on the board subject of the lesson.

Teachers says students that in Polish we have cardinal and ordinal numbers as well as in English language. She writes on the board written form of ordinal numbers and asks students what they noticed.

Teacher asks students to open their books, students work individually trying to complete the table by typing the appropriate written form of numbers.

When students finish, teacher writes on the board sound th and as students to pronounce it, individual students are asked to pronounce it aloud, teacher gives students a model if it is necessary.

Teacher gives student handouts with minimal pairs, she reads words and students task is to underline correct one. Then she asks students to writes five sentences with all of them.

When students finish, teacher asks them to read sentences aloud and corrects pronunciation if it is necessary. Students have to count sentences using structure The first sentence we have is…, the second sentence is…, ect. Teacher points out that before ordinal numbers we put the article.

Teacher distributes corrected tests. Teacher discuss the most common mistakes. Students write them to their notebooks.
