T says good morning and asks students how they feel. T counts from 1 to 10 and asks Ss to repeat after her.

Teacher shows students red colour card and says: red, then points out red object in the classroom and says: This is red, asks students to show red object they possess and repeat. In this way teachers introduces other colours. - to introduce colours

Teacher sticks to the board colour cards in order to students can’t see the colours. Above the cards she writes numbers from 1 to 10. Then she divides students into groups and the task is to guess what the colour is below each number. The group which guess the most of colours is the winner. - to practise colours and numbers 1-10

Teacher asks students to get ready their crayons. If it’s ready, she says show me red and students put up red crayons. Teacher repeats the task with other colours. - to focus pupils’ attention and names of colours T-S 8’
Teacher asks students what was the aim of that game. Students understand and answer that the aim was to practise the usage of numbers 1-10 by doing a pleasant, interesting activity. - to make students aware of the fact that learning and practising doesn’t have to be boring and tiring T-C 3`
Next exercise is connected with memorizing. Teacher writes a number on the blackboard (has to consist of not less than 8 figures). Students have 30 seconds to learn it by heart. When the time ends, students close their eyes and the teacher rubs out few figures. Students, altogether, have to decide what numbers were rubbed out. Then, teacher repeats the same action and rubs out more figures until the blackboard will be clear. Students guess the missing figures, at the end they dictate the full number. Teacher carries out this task few times.
