By the way, you are not alone in being fond of the word “but”. Many Norwegians use this word a lot in conversation, probably because it is quite common to use the word “men” in Norwegian in conversation. However, if you say the word out loud ………….(say it)……………….. you will notice that it is quite a hard-sounding word with the “b” and the “t” .
