Name of the course: Human and Social Capital (2009)
Course requirements
Student's grade is based on preparing and analyzing case study concerning chosen topic in groups. The general idea of the research project is to show how human and/or social capital are/is built or destroyed in a chosen organization.
Groups
Students will be divided into 9 groups (3-4 people each). Students are free to create a group and each group is free to choose one topic. Each group will prepare a research report and a class presentation.
Research report
Research reports have to be submitted by 18 December 2009. The content of the report includes:
Description (summary) of the project (approximately 500 words)
Short description of the organization (app. 250 words)
Aims of the project (research question/s)
Research method used for gathering the data (including a questionnaire)
Research results
Recommendations for the organization (for other organizations)

Class presentations
Each presentation will take 15-20 minutes. All members of the group have to take an active part in the presentation. The class presentation should be supported by power point presentation.
