1. Installation
To install the game, insert your Pet Racer CD into the CD-ROM drive. After a short time, the setup program will start. If the setup program doesn't start automatically after inserting the disk into the CD-ROM drive - which may be caused by disabling “autorun” option in the system - you need to run setup.exe from the compact disk. To do this, click Start on the Taskbar, then choose Run and write X:\setup.exe (where X means the letter of the CD-ROM drive, usually it is D).
If the game was installed before and removed in an incorrect way, problems with the reinstallation of the game may occur. In such case, run the setup.exe program (from the CD) with the -force parameter.
You can choose the following options:
Install - installs the game on your computer.
Quit - terminates the setup program.

4. Game Modes
Adventure
Here you will challenge other animals in a series of races in different lands. Think well before choosing a character, because you won't be able to change him during your adventure. Only if you complete a level (land), you will be able to advance to the next one. A new player will invite you to each new level. It will be more interesting, but also more difficult…
Race
By choosing this option you can test your abilities with any animal you want, on the tracks available for you - depending on where you managed to go in the Adventure.
Extra
In reward for completing each level of the Adventure you will get exciting races on crazy terms. Don't be astonished if you see a different track each time.
Multiplayer
This kind of the game allows you to challenge not only the animals, but also a colleague or a friend. Anyone you want.
5. Characters
In the beginning you can choose from 6 animals which you can be. However, during the game new interesting characters will appear.
6. Tracks
You have to complete 30 races. They are located in 5 different lands, so you will see many various places.
However, to advance to a next track, you have to come first at the previous one.
7. Bonuses
It is not easy to defeat your opponents. However, the bonuses may be very helpful. You can collect them on the road. But be careful - they may turn against you - you are not the only one who can use them.
