Nowadays, telling the truth is not so common as it would be expected. It is generally thought that in many situations lying is the best solution. In my opinion honesty is one of the most valuable advantage.

First of all, telling truth helps understand other person. During conversation truth show clearly others statement and easily explain their point of view. What decrease possibility of misunderstanding. What is more, being honest is beneficial. Many people prefer to hear the worst truth than lie and they appreciate this kind of social skill. Additionally, honesty can lead to strengthen relationships because of rising trust. People are more trustful in contact with person who always says the truth.

Nevertheless, some people are concerned about that lying is profitable. In world of business bluffing and cheating can bring a lot of profits including money, fame and reputation of business shark. Moreover, some people believe that lie can protect others from suffer and pain. For instance, sometimes it is better to not know about some meaningless things, what would not have any influence on others life but only could stress or irritate them. Some people do not want to know some annoying facts, which are not bringing anything else than frustration into their lives.

Taking everything to consideration, there is an explanation of lying to somebody in purpose of protecting him. Other benefits as money or fame could seems to be worthy of cheating, but is it comparable with clear consciousness? Even though, lying seems to yield benefits in some areas of our lives I still convicted that telling the truth is more lucrative than even the smallest lie.
