Groupings: individual, pair work, group work

Procedures Aims Interaction Time
Teacher draws on the board one big dot on a dice and says: one and asks whole class to repeat, then particular students. Then, sticks card with number 1. She does the same with other numbers (1-6)

- to revise pronunciation of numbers 1-6

Teacher points out numbers and asks whole class to say aloud the number. - to make sure students understand each number T-S 3’
Teacher shows students pictures with fruits and says the names of them. Students repeat several times the names. Then, teachers sticks the pictures n the board and sing them. - to introduce names of fruits T 7’
Teacher asks students to open their books and do exercise as a whole class. Student count fruit, at the same time teachers counts on the fingers and writes the number on the board. - to practise counting by means of fruit T-C 5’
Whole class try to do next exercise. Teacher plays a recording and asks students to listen carefully. Students decide how many and which fruits the speaker mentioned. - to practise listening with understanding

Teacher plays a song and asks students to repeat after each verse. She plays a song several times to practise students pronunciation of names of fruit. -to practise pronunciation T-C 6’
Teacher divides students into pairs and gives them small pictures with fruits and one big card with a drawn tree on it. The task for each pair is to separate fruits on a groups and stick the pictures on a tree, then count. - to practise counting
