Summary
The markets are important public areas, well known for its trade, social and representative functions. Due to the fact that markets are usually located in the heart of each cities, they are often perceived as outstanding and flagship places. In addition to this, they represent the synergy of art masterpiece, symbolism and history. The above mentioned characteristics of markets enhance the quality and prestige of the each city.
The main objective of this study was to develop space fulfilling public function. Create a center nearby currently built town hall. The territorial scope of work includes the old town located in Tolkmick. The main revaluation idea was to bring back Plac Wolności its own aesthetic and technical values, appropriate to the historic qualities, and a partial change in the market environment. This was based mainly on making the new surface, change the function of the service and social area in the representative. Analysis of source materials, landscape and inventory surveying have been conducted in order to establish the concept. The project of the proposed building, surface and transportation system unified nature of the town. Simultaneously becoming its pride.
