RETAIL OUTLETS

PKB Inwest is preparing construction of shopping center with area of 50,000 sqm in Kobyłka near Warsaw. According to PREM's unofficial information, PKB Inwest from Ząbki is buying properties located near the
634 Voivodship Road in Kobyłka near Warsaw. The developer is planning the development of a total of approx. 13 hectares. According to preliminary declarations,
a shopping center and an entertainment-gastronomy complex with a multi-screen cinema will be located there. The local spatial development plan allows the construction of such outlets.

According to the preliminary schedule, works are planned to begin at the turn of 2010 and 2011. An informant who wishes to remain anonymous told us that the scale of the enterprise will be similar to the Metro AG investment in Marki, where the German concern manages
a complex with an area of approx. 50,000 sqm. ■

AMB Group will build shopping-service gallery with area of approx. 12,000 sqm in Siedlce. Preparations for the construction of the AMB Group shopping-service gallery in Siedlce (Mazowieckie Voivodship) are in the final stages. The investor has already received a conditions of development decision for the property on Starowiejska Street and is also in the process of obtaining permission from city authorities for purchasing the adjoining lot. The enterprise will include the construction of an outlet with
a total area of approx. 12,000 sqm, including over 6,000 sqm for lease. The design of the complex is being prepared by Tadeusz Żera from Żera Architekci while Kula Architekci will design the interiors.

Construction works are planned to commence in the spring of next year. It has not yet been decided whether the works will be carried out in the system of general contracting or using the packet system. The investor is conducting negotiations with potential tenants, for example with Empik, Deichmann and grocery operators. ■

Darling Associates is preparing design of hypermarket with area of 12,000 sqm in Gniezno for Pradera. District Starosty in Gniezno (Wielkopolskie Voivodship) is evaluating, for Darling Associates - a design company with headquarters in London, the effects on the environment of the planned construction of a Castorama hypermarket. An outlet with an area of approx. 12,000 sqm will be built on Pałucka Street, near the “Galeria Gniezno” shopping center. The developer of the enterprise is Pradera Management Poland.

In upcoming weeks Castorama will open hypermarkets in Przemyśl and Zamość. The contractor of both outlets is RD bud. ■

Ekomech will build shopping center with usable area of approx. 4,800 sqm in Wałcz. Ekomech has received positive administrative decisions connected to plans for the construction of a shopping center in Wałcz (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship). The investment will be located on Budowlanych Street and will include the construction of an outlet with a usable area of approx. 4,800 sqm, including 3,100 sqm that will be used as a sales hall and 1,700 sqm for warehouse space. ■

Gant is interested in construction of shopping center in Krakow. The management of Gant informed during last week's press conference of the framework strategy for the company's development in upcoming months. One of the elements will be the construction of a shopping center in Krakow. An analysis of the feasibility of the enterprise is being carried out now.

Representatives of Gant have also informed that the construction of a shopping gallery would also begin in Bogatynia (Dolnośląskie Voivodship) in September. An outlet with 50 stores and a total area of 6,000 sqm will be built on Daszyńskiego Street on a 2.2-hectare lot. ■

Tesco is planning construction of supermarket in Kamień Pomorski. According to PREM's unofficial findings, a Tesco supermarket will be opened in Kamień Pomorski (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship). The investment is being built on Długosza Street, on land which used to be taken up by a mineral water bottling plant. The construction of a fuel station is planned in addition to the retail outlet. ■

ARS is preparing construction of retail-service outlets with area of 3,000 sqm in Płock. ARS (Agency for Old Town Revitalization) is conducting a tender procedure connected with the choice of the designer of a service outlet at 5 Stary Rynek Street in Płock (Mazowieckie Voivodship), with frontage type development along Bielska Street, according to a concept prepared by the Abrys workshop. The investment will include the construction of a 4-story outlet with an area of 1,500 sqm and a cubature of 5,200 meters3. Documentation should be ready within 4 months.

ARS has also submitted an application for permission for the construction of a similar 4-story retail-service pavillion at 4A Małachowskiego Street. The design of the enterprise was prepared by Abrys. ■

GC Investment is preparing construction of supermarket with area of approx. 1,700 sqm in Zabrze. GC Investment from Katowice is conducting, on behalf of private investors Andrzej and Krystyna Janota, administrative procedures preceding the construction of
a supermarket in Zabrze-Rokitnica (Śląskie Voivodship). The outlet, which will be built in the area of Krakowska, Kosmowska, Młodzieżowa and Budowlana streets, will have a usable area of approx. 1,700 sqm. In March local authorities issued an environmental conditions decision for the construction of the traffic system planned near the enterprise. ■

PRODUCTION AND WAREHOUSE OUTLETS

Eastwave has commenced construction of Printpack complex in Kutno. The Eastwave Company has been chosen as the general contractor of the Printpack production complex in Kutno (Łódzkie Voivodship). The enterprise was prepared for the investor by Tebodin SAP-Projekt. Let us recall that the company, for over 90 mln PLN, is planning to build a factory with an area of approx. 13,000 sqm in the sub-zone of the Łódź Special Economic Zone. Ground works were carried out by Wakoz. ■

ATM Grupa is planning construction of studio halls with area of over 10,000 sqm in Bielany Wrocławskie. ATM Grupa, a producer of television programs and series, is planning the construction of a complex of film studio halls near its headquarters in Bielany Wrocławskie. Maciej Grzywaczewski, vice-chairman of the company, has informed that land has already been purchased for the investment, which will consist of, in the first stage, the construction of outlets with an area of approx. 5,000 sqm and, finally, over 10,000 sqm. The first buildings will be ready within two years. ■

Elma is supervising construction of Steskal production plant in Jabłonka. Elma is preparing contracting offers for the construction of the Steskal production plant in Jabłonka near Chyżne (Małopolskie Voivodship). The architectural design of the outlet, with an area of 5,000 sqm, was prepared by Marian Roga's workshop from Krakow. Works should be completed within 12 months from the date of signing the agreement. ■

Nestle will build production hall with area of 4,800 sqm in Kalisz. The Nestle concern has completed administrative procedures connected with plans for the construction of a production hall in Kalisz (Wielkopolskie Voivodship). The investment will include the construction of an outlet with an area of approx. 4,800 sqm on Łódzka Street. Technological lines for the production of Winiary brand mayonnaise will be opened there. ■

Drozd will build production-office complex in Lubartów. In the past few weeks the Drozd Company received administrative permits connected with plans for the construction of a meat processing plant with a two-level office section in Lubartów (Lubelskie Voivodship). The investment will be located in the area of Wierzbowa and Nadrzeczna streets and will include the construction of
a complex with an area of approx. 3,000 sqm. The design was prepared by Tomasz Boczek's workshop. ■

Mostostal Zabrze will build sheet mill on premises of CMC steelworks in Zawiercie. On April 14 the Mostostal Zabrze “Częstochowa” Assembly-Production Plant signed a contract with CMC Zawiercie from the American group Commercial Metals Company for the realization of construction works on the premises of the Zawiercie steelworks on Piłsudskiego Street in Zawiercie (Śląskie Voivodship). The contract, worth approx. 11 mln PLN gross, will include the thorough modernization (including the disassembly of the existing hall and the construction of a new one) of the sheet mill hall. Works should be completed by August 31 of this year. ■

Juan has commenced construction of production plant for approx. 10 mln PLN in Białe Błota. The Juan Company from Warsaw, a producer of countertops and kitchen furniture, has commenced the construction of
a production plant in Białe Błota near Bydgoszcz (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship). Representatives of the investor have not revealed the schedule of the enterprise. At the end of last year the company applied for financing from EU funds. The cost of the construction will exceed 9.7 mln PLN. ■

Recykl will build production complex for 10 mln PLN in Śrem. The Recykl Company has purchased land and received permission for commencing activity in the Śrem sub-zone of the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone Invest-Park. The company has purchased an undeveloped property with an area of over 1.7 hectares. It is planning to build a tire recycling plant there for approx. 10 mln PLN. Declared employment will reach 35 people. The complex is planned to be opened by the end of this year. ■

Warmus Investment will build production complex on 1.4 hectares in Tczew. The Warmus Investment Company is preparing the development of a property with an area of approx. 1.4 hectares located in the Tczew sub-zone of the Pomorska Special Economic Zone. The enterprise on Czatkowska Street will consist of the construction of
a shipyard specializing in the production of luxurious yachts. The works will include the construction of a vessel production hall with an area of 2,500 sqm and an office building which will be used as a call center. The value of the investment is estimated at approx. 15 mln PLN. Environmental permits are being obtained on behalf of the investor by the Ekoserwis workshop from Grudziądz. Warmus Investment is connected to the company Aussie Development. ■

RWE and Kompania Węglowa plan construction of heat and power plant in Wola near Pszczyna.
A company, the shareholders of which will be Kompania Węglowa and the German concern RWE, will be created in upcoming days. The two companies will open a low-emission power plant on the premises of the former Czeczott mine in Wola near Pszczyna (Śląskie Voivodship). The investment will be completed by the end of 2014. ■

OFFICE BUILDINGS

Akszak is preparing construction of office center with area of ca. 25,000 sqm in Wrocław for IPD Management. The Akszak Consulting Company is supervising environmental procedures for the construction by Office IPB Management of an office outlet in Wrocław (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). The enterprise will be located on Fabryczna Street and will include the construction of an outlet with a usable area of approx. 24,500 sqm. The building will have seven aboveground stories and four underground stories. ■

BDK is preparing design of office complex with area of 10,000 sqm in Olsztyn. Janusz Dubowik from the BDK workshop is preparing the design of an office building in Olsztyn. The developer of the enterprise is the Produkt Company. The enterprise will include the construction of an outlet with an area of approx. 10,000 sqm on Krasickiego Street.

The Produkt Company is known for its cooperation with Polnord on the construction of the Tęczowy Las residential complex in Olsztyn. The general contractor of investments realized by the developer is Bet-Bud.

According to information presented in PREM,
a shopping center will be built near the office building. It is known that some of the investment lots belong to Carrefour. ■

SwedeCenter is planning construction of office complex with area of over 10,000 sqm in Szczecin. The SwedeCenter Company, which belongs to the Vastint Company from the IKEA group, is planning the construction of an office complex in Szczecin, on land which it recently purchased next to Brama Portowa, in the area of Partyzantów and Kaszubska streets. Mariusz Oleksy, a representative of the investor, told us that plans assume the construction of two outlets on a lot which takes up approx. 3,400 sqm. The architectural details of the buildings are not known yet, but it is preliminarily known that the lease area of both buildings will reach a total of
10-15,000 sqm. A contract with the design office for the documentation of the enterprise should be signed within
a month. ■

Polkomtel is seeking lot with area of 2 hectares for construction of office-service center in Warsaw. The management of Polkomtel is accepting bids for the sale of a lot with an area of 2 hectares until May 20. The lot, located in Warsaw or in one of the suburban communes, will be used for the construction of an office-service center. ■

MItex has submitted lowest bid for construction of teaching complex with area of 9,500 sqm in Łódź.
The University of Łódź has chosen the bid submitted by Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex in a tender procedure for the reconstruction of outlets of the former hospital on Rewolucji 1905 r Street. The complex, with an area of over 9,500 sqm, will house a computer-econometrics center of the Faculty of Economy and Sociology. Works should be completed within 18 months.

Architectural documentation of the enterprise was prepared by API Projekt. Mirbud, Dorbud, Skanska, Mostostal Warszawa, Condite, PORR, Lepiko and Budus are also taking part in the procedure. ■

Teaching complex with area of 11,000 sqm will be built in Mierzyn. Works on the design of a teaching complex with a sports section, planned in Mierzyn (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship) on Długa Street should be completed in July. The investor of the enterprise, the documentation of which is being prepared by Master Projekt from Szczecin, is the authorities of the commune of Dobra Szczecińska. The construction of two buildings with a total usable area of almost 11,000 sqm, including almost 8,200 sqm to be used as a school with a gymnasium and over 2,700 sqm to be used by a preschool, is planned on the 3.5-hectare lot. The cost of the investment is estimated at 50 mln PLN. Construction works are to begin next year. ■

Studio A+R will design 9,300-sqm teaching outlet of Wrocław University of Technology for 1.7 mln PLN. Studio A+R Jarząbek i Partnerzy has won a tender procedure for works on the first stage of the Geo-Centrum teaching-research complex, which will include the construction of an outlet with a net area of 9,400 sqm and
a cubature of 37,400 meters3 on Na Grobli Street. The gross value of the contract, ordered by the Wrocław University of Technology, will reach 1.7 mln PLN. Documentation should be prepared within 10 months.

Let us recall that the entire complex, the concept of which was prepared by the French AIC Equip workshop, will include the construction of outlets with a total area of 32,000 sqm. The investment should be completed in 2013. ■

Consortium of B'Art and Biprowłók has won tender for design of 8,000-sqm office building in Łódź. MODGiK (Municipal Center for Geodesy and Cartography Documentation) has chosen the offer submitted by
a consortium of B'ART and Biprowłók in a tender procedure for reconstruction documentation of the 19-story office building with an area of approx. 8,000 sqm, located on Traugutta Street in Łódź. The works should be completed within 8 months. Approx. 20 mln PLN will be used for the modernization of the outlet. Architekton, Bauren, Pas Projekt Studio, Ingerop with BPBA J&J, Prostal PA Tomasz Wąs and PA Format also took part in the procedure. ■

“Sternik” Association is seeking contractor of teaching complex with area of 17,000 sqm. Offers with a tender deposit of 300,000 PLN for the construction of the “Strumienie” educational complex on 3 Maja Street in Józefów (Mazowieckie Voivodship) are being accepted until May 12. The complex, with an area of 17,000 sqm along with an underground garage (approx. 2,000 sqm), was designed by the P&T Studio Workshop from Warsaw. Works on the investment will take 18 months. ■

POI has submitted lowest bid in tender for substitute investor of construction of teaching complex in Wrocław. POI (Przedsiębiorstwo Obsługi Inwestycji, Investment Servicing Corporation) from Bydgoszcz has submitted the lowest bid (850,000 PLN) in a tender procedure for the role of substitute investor on the construction of the Lower Silesian Scientific and Economic Information Center on Komandorska Street in Wrocław. The highest offer was presented by PXM Projekt Południe (1.6 mln PLN). PM Group; Grontmij and Elektrocentrum are also taking part in the procedure.

The enterprise, with an estimated value of 45 mln PLN and designed by the Archimedia workshop from Poznań, will include the construction of two outlets with a total net area of 8,200 sqm and a cubature of 31,000 meters3. Offers with a tender deposit of 900,000 PLN for the general contracting of the investment are also being accepted at this time. ■

Construction of office-research center is being prepared in Czechowice-Dziedzice for almost 45 mln PLN. At the end of last year the authorities of Czechowice-Dziedzice (Śląskie Voivodship) signed an agreement with the Upper Silesian Corporation Transformation Agency concerning the construction of the Silesian Science-Technology Center of the Aviation Industry. The enterprise will consist of the construction of a laboratory-research complex with an area of approx. 3,600 sqm. The cost of the investment is estimated at approx. 45 mln PLN. The area of Nad Białką Street is suggested as the location. ■

ASP is seeking designer of teaching-cultural outlet for over 46 mln PLN in Katowice. Academy of Fine Arts (ASP, Akademia Sztuk Pięknych) in Katowice has announced a tender procedure for documentation of the Cultural and Educational Center, planned in the area of Raciborska and Koszarowa streets. The enterprise, the cost of which is estimated at 46 mln PLN, will include the construction of a 3.5-level building with a usable area of 5,000 sqm.

Let us recall that the concept of the outlet was prepared by Płaskowicki&Partnerzy Architekci. Applications for taking part in the procedure (tender deposit of 23,000 PLN) are being accepted until May 11. Design works, the value of which is estimated at 2.3 mln PLN gross, will be completed by February 28, 2010. ■

Authorities of Kobyla Góra are seeking contractor of middle school with area of 2,900 sqm. Offers with tender deposits of 143,000 PLN for the construction of a middle school in Kobyla Góra (Wielkopolskie Voivodship) on Kazimierza Przerwy-Tetmajera Street are being accepted until May 4. The design of the outlet, with an area of 2,900 sqm and a cubature of 14,000 meters3, was prepared by “Studio M” from Poznań. Works are planned to be completed on June 30 2010. ■

Polbau has submitted lowest bid for construction of teaching outlet in Zawadzkie. Polbau has submitted the lowest bid (6.5 mln PLN) in a tender procedure for the construction of a middle school with an area of 2,900 sqm and a cubature of 12,900 meters3. Other entities taking part in the procedure are: Maxbud ABJ (8 mln PLN), Kobnext (8.1 mln PLN), Opex (7.6 mln PLN), Robud (7.9 mln PLN), Sobet (7.2 mln PLN), Rekonsbud (7.2 mln PLN), Budostal-2 (6.7 mln PLN), Techbud (7.3 mln PLN), Robirex (7.4 mln PLN). The enterprise, designed by Wojciech Paszkowski's workshop, will be completed on July 30, 2010. ■

Locum and Sosnowy-Styl have submitted lowest bids in tender for design of educational outlet in Niedźwiedź. Twenty-seven offers have been submitted in a tender for the documentation of a complex of schools in Niedźwiedź (Małopolskie Voivodship). The lowest bid (approx. 134,000 PLN) was submitted by the Locum M. Paszyn and Sosnowy-Styl workshops; the highest bid, with a price of over 620,000 PLN, was presented by PxM Projekt-Południe.

The enterprise, the concept of which was prepared by Studio Architektury i Krajobrazu from Krakow, will consist of the construction of a 3-story outlet with an area of 4,100 sqm and a cubature of 19,500 meters3. The investor, the commune of Słomkinia, requires that the design works be completed in October of this year. ■

Ekobud will design teaching outlet in Rokietnica with cubature of 18,400 meters3. The authorities of the commune of Rokietnica (Wielkopolskie Voivodship) will entrust Ekobud with a contract worth 100,000 PLN for preparing the documentation of a middle school with
a usable area of 2,700 sqm and a cubature of 18,400 meters3, which will be built along Trakt Napoleoński Street. Design works should be completed at the end of October of this year. ■

Ozone will design teaching outlet with cubature of 14,000 meters3 in Opole. The Ozone workshop has won a tender procedure for the documentation of the seat of the Faculty of Construction of the Opole University of Technology. The investment, planned on Katowicka Street, will consist of the construction of an outlet with a cubature of 14,000 meters3. Design works, the gross value of which will reach 205,000 PLN, shall be completed on November 30, 2009. ■

Koncepta is planning construction of office building with area of 1,500 sqm in Szczecin. A 4-story office building with a usable area of 1,500 sqm will be built in Szczecin on the basis of the renovation of a historic 19th-century building. The investment, the developer of which is the local Koncepta Company, will be supervised by the historical heritage conservation office. ■

Regional Court in Legnica is seeking contractor of office building with area of 1,500 sqm. Offers with a tender deposit of 130,000 PLN are being accepted until May 7th in a procedure for the modernization of the building of the Regional Court at 1-3 Kościuszki Street in Legnica. The works will include an outlet with an area of 1,500 sqm and a cubature of approx. 4,000 meters3.

Authorities of Kołobrzeg are seeking contractor for development of school with cubature of 6,900 meters3. Offers with a tender deposit of 140,000 PLN are being accepted for the development of Elementary School nr 6 on Kołobrzeg (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship) on Poznańska Street. Architectural documentation of the outlet, with a cubature of 6,900 meters3, was prepared by theh A-Z Project Workshop. The investment will be completed by January 15, 2010. ■

HOUSING INVESTMENTS

Ekolan will build residential complex with over 500 apartments in Gdańsk. Ekolan is finalizing obtaining administrative permits connected with plans for the construction of the “Miłe Mieszkania” complex on Świętokrzyska Street in Gdańsk-Łostowice. The company is planning to erect 16 buildings with approx. 400 apartment units on 2.8 hectares of land. Outlets with 48 apartment units will be created in the first stage. The design of the enterprise was created in Marian Synakiewicz's workshop. The company has currently completed the choice of the general contractor for the first stage.

Ekolan is also building a complex with 104 apartments as part of the Miłe Wzgórze complex on Guderskiego Street. The complex will be put to use in April of next year. ■

Gant in cooperation with Walas workshop is preparing construction of complex with 900 apartments in Warsaw. At the end of April or in early May Gant will submit an application for issuing permission for the construction of an apartment complex on Sokołowska Street in Warsaw-Wola. The complex, which will consist of 900 apartment units, is being designed by the Walas workshop. The first stage of the enterprise, the construction of which will begin by the end of this year, will consist of the construction of 200 apartments. The investment will be located on an almost 2-hectare lot for which Gant paid over 150 mln PLN in 2007. ■

Europtima in cooperation with Teem Development prepare construction of “Zdrowie Park” housing complex in Łódź. Europtima, acting on behalf of Teem Development, is conducting the choice of a contractor for the first stage of the “Zdrowie Park” complex. The complex, which will consist of 500 apartments units built in several stages, will be located at the junction of Srebrzyńska and Biegunowa streets on a property which had been used by the Lenor plant. The design of the investment was prepared by the Izzba workshop. ■

BFI Inco will build housing complex with 250 units in Pruszków. The BFI Inco Company from Warsaw has acquired administrative permits connected with plans for the construction of a housing complex in Pruszków near Warsaw (Mazowieckie Voivodship). The complex will be located in the area of Lipowa Street and will include the construction of outlets with a total of approx. 250 apartment units. These will be complemented with service points located on the ground floors and underground and above-ground parking garages. BFI Inco is connected to Inco Veritas. ■

Instal Kraków prepares construction of residential-hotel-office complex with area of 17,000 sqm in Krakow. Instal Kraków is trying to obtain administrative permits connected to plans for the development of a property located in the area of Jana Pawła II Avenue and Narciarska and Dolna streets. The enterprise will be carried out in two stages and will include the construction of a complex of outlets ranging in height from nine to thirteen stories. Buildings with a total area of 17,000 sqm with residential (approx. 95 apartments), office and hotel functions will be constructed and a shopping-service section will be located on the lower levels. The complex will be complemented with 80 outdoor parking spaces and an underground parking garage.

During the realization of previous investments in Krakow Instal Kraków cooperated with NC Architekci. ■

Grupa 5 will design complex with approx. 200 apartments in Warsaw for RE Project Development. Elżbieta Krawczyk, representative of Raiffeisen Evolution Project Development (RE Project Development), has informed PREM that the company has hired the Warsaw based architectural office “Grupa 5” to prepare documentation for a residential complex, planned on Poligonowa Street in Warsaw-Gocław. As we have informed earlier, the investor is planning to build
a complex with approx. 200 apartments on a land plot with an area of over 5,800 sqm. ■

BA Kapuścik is preparing design for Warmia Investment complex. Andrzej Kapuścik's Vienna based office has been hired to prepare a design for the Warmia Investment apartment-service complex in Olsztyn. The investment, the cost of which is estimated at 250 million PLN, will comprise the construction of a building with a usable area of 32,000 sqm (not including garages and parking lots). The building at the junction of Piłsudskiego Av. and Głowackiego St., apart from apartments, will also contain a hotel with 150 rooms and SPA facilities. The works should begin in 2010. The investment will be carried out with cooperation from Ostródzkie Przedsiębiorstwo Budowlane and the Eoes 4 architectural office. ■

Art-Bud will build residential complex with 175 flats in Gniezno. Art-Bud is beginning, as investor and general contractor, the construction of a residential complex in the area of Pstrowskiego and Wrzesińska streets in Gniezno (Wielkopolskie Voivodship). The complex will be comprised of three buildings with a usable area of 9,300 sqm and 175 flats. The first stage, which is to be finalized next year in August, will comprise the construction of
a building with 49 flats with areas from 27 sqm to 77 sqm. The design of the investment has been prepared by Dominik Nadwórny from Poznań based architectural office N2. ■

Hollybrook is preparing construction of complex with 120 flats in Cieszyn. At the end of last year, Hollybrook obtained WziZT (building development conditions) for the construction of a residential complex in the area of Konopnickiej and Cegielniana streets in Cieszyn (Śląskie Voivodship). The investment is to comprise the construction, on a land plot with an area of approx.
1.5 hectares, of a complex of three-story residential buildings with approx. 120 flats. Hollybrook ordered the development of architectural concept from one of the Cieszyn based architectural offices. ■

IPB is preparing construction of another stage of B. Laszki residential complex in Olsztyn. Iławskie Przedsiębiorstwo Budowlane (IPB) is preparing the construction of another residential building in the Osiedle Bolesława Laszki complex in Laszki Street in Olsztyn (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship). The investment will comprise the construction of a four-story building with 124 flats. It will be complemented by an underground garage and parking spaces. The works, the general contractor of which is going to be IPG, should begin this June. ■

Authorities of Warsaw-Bemowo prepare construction of complex with 269 flats and kindergarten. Until
20th May, the Warsaw-Bemowo District Office will be collecting offers, along with a deposit of 15,000 PLN, for the development of documentation for a complex of communal multi-family buildings on Pełczyńskiego Street. The investment will comprise the construction of two buildings with 6-8 stories, which will hold 269 flats with areas from 35 to 57 sqm and an 8-group kindergarten on the ground floor. Design works, the cost of which has been estimated at 0.8 million PLN gross, should be ready by 15th October 2010. ■

Probud is planning realization of housing investments with area of over 10,000 sqm in Warsaw. A procedure has recently begun regarding the choosing of a contractor for an 8-story building with 110 flats with a usable area of 6,500 sqm, planned on Strażacka Street in Warsaw-Rembertów. The developer and architect of the investment is Probud. The building is to be put into use in 2010.

Next year, Probud is planning to begin the realization of another housing investment in Warsaw-Białołęka.
A 4-story building with a usable area of 3,800 sqm will be erected in Mehoffera Street. ■

RTBS seeks contractor for residential buildings in Chorzów and Ruda Śląska. 30th April is the deadline for submitting offers for the construction of 3 multi-family buildings for the purposes of RTBS (Regional Social Building Association) in Tychy (śląskie Voivodship).

A building with an area of 1,400 sqm and cubature of 5,200 meters3 will be built on Karola Miarki Street in Chorzów. Meanwhile, construction of 2 buildings (3,500 sqm, 15,000 meters3) is planned on Fitelberga Street in Ruda Śląska. Works on the investments, designed by Chorzów based office Profil, will take 18 months. ■

Przasnysz authorities are planning construction of residential complex with 105 flats. Until 22nd April, the Przasnysz City Office (Mazowieckie Voivodship) will be collecting offers for the development of documentation of
a residential complex on Zawodzie Street. The contract comprises the development, by 20th August, of a design for a building with 21 flats, and then - by 30th March of next year - for another two buildings with 84 flats in total. ■

HOTELS AND ENTERTAINMENT CENTERS

CKK Architekci is preparing design for hotel chain for Ebi Hospitality Management Group. CKK Architekci, operating at the order from Ebi Hospitality Management Group (EHMG), is designing a chain of two-star hotels Ebi Trend and three-star Ebi Class. We have informed in PREM that EHMG, a company established e.g. by the national team's football player Euzebiusz Smolarek and Philippe Campagno, a representative of the hotel sector, in the past few years associated with Accor, is planning to make investments in the Pomorze region and in southern Poland. In the next few weeks, the company should finance the first transactions of purchasing land plots for their investments. ■

Construction of four-star hotel with approx. 75 rooms is planned in Poddębice. The authorities of Poddębice (Łódzkie Voivodship) are holding talks with potential co-investors of a four-star hotel with approx. 75 rooms, which will be erected as one of the lodging centers for the Euro 2012 football championship. The hotel will be constructed by modernizing and extending the existing Poddębice Sports and Cultural Center on Mickiewicza Street. The investment will probably be carried out in the public-private partnership system. ■

Allenort in cooperation with Hochtief will build medical center in Warsaw for 350 million PLN. Allenort, a company managing a chain of cardiology clinics, is planning to build a medical center in Warsaw for 350 million PLN. The investment, which will have 200 beds and 10 surgery rooms, will be carried out by Hochtief. According to estimations, works on the investment should take 2.5 years.

Allenort's main shareholder is Marek Jutkiewicz, in the past few years associated with the producer of Hoop drinks. ■

Platinum Hospitals, in cooperation with Unimed, will build hospital with area of 12,000 sqm in Warsaw. The company Platinum Hospital has hired Unimed architectural office to prepare a design of a hospital complex on Goszczyńskiego St. in Warsaw-Mokotów. The complex, with a usable area of approx. 12,000 sqm, will be constructed by modernizing an out-of-order Sisters of Saint Elizabeth Hospital (approx. 7,000 sqm) and building another 4-story building (5,000 sqm) for the purposes of e.g. the surgery ward. Aside from the development of documentation, Unimed will also choose the general contractor for the investment.

Works on the investment, worth 80-90 million PLN, are to begin this autumn. Some of the rooms in the existing buildings are to be put into use around the middle of next year, and the whole investment should be finalized by the end of 2010. ■

Sosak&Sosak office will design fair and conference center with area of 10,000 sqm in Olsztyn. The authorities of Olsztyn recently announced that a contest has been concluded concerning the development of a concept for a fair center on Piłsudskiego Av. in Olsztyn. The building with an area of 10,000 sqm will be erected on the basis of the concept prepared by the Sosak&Sosak office. Preliminary talks with companies interested in taking part in the investment are in progress. ■

UMK seeks contractor for extension of University Hospital in Bydgoszcz by 13,000 sqm. Until 21st May, Mikołaj Kopernik University (UMK) will be collecting offers, along with a deposit of 1.5 million PLN, concerning the construction of a 6-story wing of the A. Jurasz University Hospital on Curie-Skłodowskiej Street in Bydgoszcz. Architectural documentation of the building with an area of 13,300 sqm and cubature of 58,000 meters3 has been prepared by Bydgoszcz based company Proj-Przem-Projekt. The works should take 20 months. ■

Ministry of Culture seeks architect for Polish History Museum with area of 20,000 sqm in Warsaw. The Ministry of Culture has issued a two-stage architectural contest with prizes amounting to 350,000 EUR in total concerning the design of the Polish History Museum. The building is to be erected by the end of 2013 in Warsaw over the Łazienkowska Route, along the line drawn by the Ujazdowski Park and Castle, near Na Rozdrożu Square. The planned building is going to have an area of approx. 20,000 sqm, and the project will cost approx. 87 million EUR (368 million PLN). The designs in the contest are to be submitted by 30th June. ■

Gliwice authorities seek contract engineer for construction of sports hall with cubature of over 510,000 meters3. The authorities of Gliwice (Śląskie Voivodship) have issued a tender for the function of contract engineer on the construction of the Podium hall with a usable area of 56,300 sqm and cubature of 510,000 meters3, planned at the junction of Akademicka and Kujawska streets. The cost of the investment, the documentation of which has been prepared by the consortium of Modern Construction System and Perbo-Projekt, is estimated at 340 million PLN. Offers, along with a deposit of 160,000 PLN, are to be submitted by 11th May. Works on the investment will take 92 months. ■

Cadolto makes offer for extension of medical center in Opole for over 31 million PLN. One offer, made by Cadolto, has been submitted in a tender issued by the Voivodship Hospital concerning the construction of the diagnostic-treatment pavilion on Katowicka St. in Opole. The investment, worth 31 million PLN, designed by Wrocław based office Edan, will be completed by the end of this October. A tender regarding the choice of substitute investor is also in progress. It has one participant; the company Budodom. ■

Gdynia authorities will appropriate over 100 million PLN for modernization of “Arka” football stadium. Until 20th May, Gdynia Sports and Recreation Center (GOSiR) will be collecting offers, along with a deposit of 1.5 million PLN, concerning modernization and extension of Arka club's football stadium on Olimpijska Street in Gdynia. The design of the investment, the value of which has been estimated at 100-110 million PLN, has been prepared by Warsaw based office SPAK. Works on the investment will begin this December and last until the end of 2010. ■

Warmińsko-Mazurski University seeks contractor for swimming pool worth 28 million PLN. 25th May is the deadline for submitting offers, along with a deposit of 500,000 PLN, concerning the construction of a roofed swimming pool on Tuwima St. in Olsztyn for the purposes of the Warmińsko-Mazurski University. Design documentation of the building with an area of 6,700 sqm and cubature of 33,000 meters3 has been prepared by Rafał Jacaszek's office RE_Studio. The investment, the value of which is estimated at 28 million PLN, is to be finalized by 31st December 2011. ■

Medical center with area of 6,000 sqm is to be built in Gdynia. 27th April is the deadline for submitting applications concerning admission to an architectural contest regarding the development of a design for the extension of the Gdynia Oncology Center at the Morski Hospital on Powstania Styczniowego St. in Gdynia by 6,000 sqm. The deadline for submitting designs falls on 20th July of this year. The winner will receive 15,000 PLN and will be invited to “single-source” negotiations regarding the development of detailed designs. ■

Medical University in Poznań seeks contractor for medical center with area of 6,000 sqm. 18th May is the deadline for submitting offers, along with a deposit of 322,000 PLN, concerning the execution of finishing works in the 5-story wing of the Clinical Hospital of the Medical University on Szamarzewskiego St. in Poznań. Design documentation for the building with an area of over
6,000 sqm has been prepared by Poznań based office Struktum SJ. ■

Erbud makes offer worth 16 million PLN for construction of swimming pool in Limanowa. Erbud has made the lowest offer (16 million PLN gross) in a tender for the contracting of a roofed swimming pool in Limanowa (Małopolskie Voivodship). The design of the building with an area of 3,000 sqm has been prepared by Krakow based company DKT Expert. Other candidates for the contract are Murdza (16.4 million PLN), Chemobudowa (17.5 million PLN), ABM Solid
(17.6 million PLN), Fewaterm (17.7 million PLN), Instal Kraków (17.9 million PLN), FLIS Marcin Flis
(19.6 million PLN), Budmex (19.9 million PLN), DDS Phenix (20.3 million PLN), Potoczak (20.5 million PLN), PBM Flisbud (20.8 million PLN), Mostostal Warszawa (22.6 million PLN), Wolimex (22.9 million PLN) and Gliwickie Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Przemysłowego (23.7 million PLN). ■

PB Basista will design teaching complex worth
16 million PLN in Mszana Dolna. Pracownia Projektowa Tomasza Basisty has won a contest issued by the Karol Wojtyła Youth Care Center in Mszana Dolna (Małopolskie Voivodship) concerning the extension and modernization of their teaching base. The investment will comprise the construction of a lodging house, administrative-social building and a sports hall with accompanying facilities. The cost of the works is estimated at 16 million PLN. ■

AB Projekt will prepare, for 380,000 PLN, documentation for cultural center in Łódź. Tychy based office AB Projekt will receive 380,000 PLN for the development of documentation for the modernization and adaptation of former factory buildings on Tymienieckiego Street in Łódź for the purposes of Fabryka Sztuki (Art Factory). A functional concept of the complex with a total area of 7,100 sqm and cubature of 31,000 meters3, has been prepared by Joanna Kucharska-Kostaka's office. Completion of the order is to take 9 months.

Other candidates for the contract were: Ovotz Design Lab, Pracownia Urbanistyki i Architektury Marek Solnica, 3D Projekt, Tomasz Wąs Pracownia Architektoniczna, Wilkocki Projekt, Biuro Architektoniczne Maciej Kneblewski, Bauren Renke Piotr, Barysz Point Line, Biuro Projektowo-Inżynierskie Redan. PAS Projekt Archi Studio, Grupa 33_03 and APA Mirsoław Frąszczak. The offer by Biuro Projektów Dariusza Szporny was rejected due to formal errors. ■

Exhibition pavilion for Centrum Dialogu “Przełomy” is to be built in Szczecin. 24th April is the deadline for submitting applications concerning admission to an architectural contest regarding the concept for the development of the “Złoty Szlak” route in the area of Papieża Jana Pawła II Avenue, Żołnierza Polskiego Square and Solidarności Square in Szczecin, as well as development of the concept for an exhibition pavilion for Centrum Dialogu “Przełomy” at Solidarności Sq. and study concepts for the surrounding accompanying building development.

Designs in the contest for the development of a land plot with an area of 6 hectares are to be submitted by 6th July of this year. The author of the chosen concept will receive 50,000 PLN and will be invited to “single-source” negotiations regarding the development of design documentation. ■

Zambrów authorities seek contractor for cultural center with area of 3,000 sqm. 30th April is the deadline for submitting offers, along with a deposit of 200,000 PLN, in a tender for general contracting of a cultural center on Wyszyńskiego St. in Zambrów (Podlaskie Voivodship). The plans anticipate the construction of a building with an area of 3,000 sqm and cubature of over 17,000 meters3, on the basis of a design prepared by the consortium of Ptaszyński Rubin Architekci office and OffArt. Works on the investment will take 2 years. ■

Mirs will build sports-performance hall in Rzgów. Wrocław based company Mirs has won a tender for the contracting of the shell structure of a sports-performance hall in Rzgów (Łódzkie Voivodship). Other candidates for the contract, regarding construction of the building with an area of 3,800 sqm and cubature of 24,500 meters3, were Skanska, Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex, Pol Aqua, SGI Baltis and Zakład Budowlany Popławski. Documentation of the investment, which is to be carried out by the end of this November, has been prepared by Łódź based office M Projekt. ■

ProStal and Bipromed will prepare documentation for medical center with area of 3,300 sqm in Kielce.
A consortium of Gdańsk based offices ProStal and Bipromed has acquired a contract worth 440,000 PLN gross concerning the development of documentation for an oncohematology ward at the Świętokrzyskie Oncology Center on Artwińskiego St. in Kielce. The design of the 5-story building with a usable area of 3,300 sqm should be ready by 16th October of this year. ■

Uniejów authorities seek architect for sports complex with area of 4,000 sqm. 20th April is the deadline for submitting offers with a deposit of 6,000 PLN regarding the development of a design for an education-sports complex for the purposes of the Schools Complex in Uniejów (Łódzkie Voivodship). The complex will be comprised of 5 sports grounds, stands for approx. 1,000 spectators with an area of 1,500 sqm, and a 2-story hotel-social building (2,500 sqm). The design should be ready by 30th September of this year. ■

Info-Projekt prepares documentation for cultural complex worth 12 million PLN in Rydułtowy. Info-Projekt office has prepared architectural documentation for the Rydułtowskie Cultural Center in Rydułtowy (Śląskie Voivodship). Modernization of the former swimming pool for cultural center purposes is being prepared on Strzelców Bytomskich Street. The cost of the investment will amount to approx. 12 million PLN. The construction permit has recently been issued and the contracting tender will be issued in the next few weeks. The works should begin this June. ■

Ład-Bud wants to carry out, for over 8.4 million PLN, modernization of L. Solski Tarnowski Theater. Ład-Bud has made the lowest offer, with the price of over
8.4 million PLN, concerning the modernization of L. Solski Tarnowski Theater on Mickiewicza Street. Other participants of the tender are Modulor, Chemobudowa, Erbud, Anko, Elter, Hewiterm and Budmet, which presented the highest offer amounting to over 16.2 million PLN. Modulor's protest concerning the fact that Ład-Bud's offer was chosen, is currently being considered. The development of design of the theater with a total area of over 2,300 sqm and cubature of 15,200 meters3 has been entrusted to Krakow based Dresler Studio.

Another tender for the realization of a cultural investment in Małopolskie Voivodship has also been concluded in the past few days. The contract worth
4.6 million PLN net, concerning the construction of the Sokół Cultural and Art Center in Stary Sącz, has been ordered to Budeko. ■

Inwesdim will be substitute investor for extension of hospital in Nysa for 20 million PLN. Health Care Center (ZOZ) in Nysa (Opolskie Voivodship) has hired the company Inwesdim as substitute investor on the extension of the City Hospital Complex. The investment, the cost of which is estimated at 20 million PLN, will comprise the construction of a building with 200 beds, laboratory and social facilities. Realization of the investment, designed by Opole based office Arplan, will take 40 months. ■

Dzieciątka Jezus Clinical Hospital in Warsaw seeks architect for modernization of medical building. Until 21st April, Dzieciątka Jezus Clinical Hospital on Lindleya St. in Warsaw will be collecting offers, along with
a deposit of 13,000 PLN, in a tender concerning the modernization design of the Internal Diseases and Cardiology Clinic. Development of the documentation is to take 36 weeks.

Meanwhile, 20th April is the deadline for submitting offers, along with a deposit of 18,000 PLN, concerning the realization of the 1st stage (preparatory works, zero stage) on the construction of the Hospital Emergency Ward, which is to take two months. ■

Leżajsk authorities seek contractor for education-sports complex with area of over 3,000 sqm. 28th April is the deadline for submitting offers, along with a deposit of 100,000 PLN, concerning the extension of the High Schools Complex in Leżajsk (Podkarpackie Voivodship). The plans anticipate the construction of a sports hall with an area of 2,300 sqm and cubature of 16,000 meters3 and
a teaching segment (area 1,000 sqm, cubature 3,900 meters3). Architectural documentation of the investment has been prepared by Jerzy Gniady. The works should be finalized by 31st August 2010. ■

ZUI Redesiuk will carry out for 7.6 mln PLN modernization of 2,200-sqm cultural-education center in Siedlce. Zakład Usług Inżynierskich (ZUI) Krzysztof Redesiuk has acquired a contract worth 7.6 million PLN gross concerning the modernization of the Podlasie building on Sienkiewicza St. in Siedlce (Mazowieckie Voivodship). The investment, being conducted by the city authorities, will comprise adaptation of a building with an area of 2,000 sqm for cultural and education purposes. The design of the investment, which is to be finalized by 30th April of next year, has been prepared by Krzysztof Maciejewski's Olsztyn based office Instalkomfort. ■

Kobet makes lowest offer for construction of sports hall in Koszalin. Kobet has made the best offer, with the price of over 7.1 million PLN, in a tender for the construction of a sports hall on Stanisława Dabka Street in Koszalin. Other participants of the tender are Kuncer, Grinbud, Przemysłówka Koszalin and Pboiui Piotr Flens. The investment, designed by Rajmund Rink's local office, will comprise the construction of a hall with a net area of 2,400 sqm and cubature of 19,100 meters3. The contract is to be finalized by 1st July 2011. ■

Jolexim will build hotel-restaurant complex for approx. 7 million PLN in Olsztyn. Jolexim is applying for administrative consents for an investment comprising the construction of a hotel at Ukiel Lake in Olsztyn. The investment will comprise the construction of a building with a Mediterranean restaurant, hotel- and sports-recreation facilities, and a conference hall. The cost of the investment is estimated at 7 million PLN. The company is applying for a subsidy from European Union funds. ■

Ekocentrum and Ekobud will supervise construction of medical building with area of 2,000 sqm in Koszalin. The consortium of companies Ekoncentrum and PUP Ekobud has made the best offer in a tender for the function of contract engineer at the extension of Voivodship Hospital on Chałubińskiego St. in Koszalin (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship). The investment will comprise the demolition of the existing buildings and construction of a two-story emergency ward building with a usable area of over 2,000 sqm. Documentation of the investment has been prepared by Biuro Studiów I Projektów Służby Zdrowia. ■

“Perspektywa” will prepare design for renovation of Książąt Pomorskich Castle in Szczecinek. The authorities of Szczecinek (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship) have hired Krzysztof Gnat's Pracownia Architektoniczna “Perspektywa” to prepare, for 193,000 PLN, the design for the adaptation of Książąt Pomorskich Castle for the purposes of a congress-training center. The building with an area of 1,300 sqm and cubature of 5,800 meters3 is situated on Mickiewicza St. in Szczecinek. Documentation is to be ready by 15th December of this year. ■

Modern-Bud will build sports hall in Zębowice for
5.6 million PLN. The authorities of Zębowice commune (Opolskie Voivodship) have hired the Starokrzepice based company Modern-Bud to build a sports hall on Oleska Street. Documentation of the building with an area of 1,800 sqm and cubature of 10,700 meters3 has been prepared by Rawicz based company Bud.Koszt. The works should be finalized by 15th August 2010. ■

BDiNB will receive 100,000 PLN for designing extension of Uzdrowisko Świeradów. Maria Sarnowska's Biuro Doradztwa I Nadzoru Budowlanego has won
a tender for the development of a design for the extension of the “Słoneczko” sanatorium in Świeradów-Zdrój. The works will comprise the development, within a period of 70 days, of documentation for a 5-story building with an area of 1,500 sqm. ■

Construction of medical center with area of 1,700 sqm is planned in Chorzów. 29th April is the deadline for submitting offers with a deposit of 150,000 PLN concerning the extension of Chorzów Pediatry and Oncology Center on Turchana Street by approx. 1,700 sqm. Architectural documentation of the building has been prepared by Katowice based office AP Projekt. Completion of the investment is to take 16 months. ■

INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENTS

Dromos will prepare, for 2.4 mln PLN, design for extension of National Road No. 16 Sorkwity-Ełk. Olsztyn Division of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways has ordered a contract worth
2.4 million PLN gross to the Dromos office concerning the development of a technical-environmental study for the
1st stage of extension of National Road No. 16. The investment will comprise the modernization of the Sorkwity-Mrągowo-Orzysz-Ełk section. ■

Sewage system will be built for over 85 million PLN in Żagań. The authorities of Żagań (Lubuskie Voivodship) have obtaines a subsidy for the realization of a project for construction of approx. 22 km of the sewage system. The value of the investment will amount to over 85 million PLN. The works should begin in the middle of this year and last until 2011. The investment will be carried out by the company Żagańskie Wodociągi I Kanalizacja. ■

DEVELOPERS AND CONTRACTORS

Qumak-Sekom will realize works on construction of Legia Stadium in Warsaw for over 25.4 mln PLN net. Qumak-Sekom has informed of acquiring last week from Polimex-Mostostal a sub-contracting agreement for the development of power and energy systems as part of the construction of the Legia football stadium on Łazienkowska Street in Warsaw. Works worth over 25.4 mln PLN net will be carried out in two stages; the dates of which have been set for April 30, 2010 and January 3, 2011. ■

PRODUCERS OF BUILDING MATERIALS

Kon-Ins-Bud will build construction elements factory in Tarnów. Kon-Ins-Bud has obtained permission for activity in the Krakow Special Economic Zone. The company is planning the construction of a factory producing construction elements of halls and industrial installations. The plant will employ at least 40 people. The minimum investment expenditure will reach 4 mln PLN. ■

VARIOUS NEWS

Authorities of Trzebinia are seeking contractor for revitalization of market square for 16.5 mln PLN. The City Council of Trzebinia (Małopolskie Voivodship) has announced a tender procedure for the revitalization of the market square. The enterprise, the cost of which has been estimated at 16.5 mln PLN, will include the renovation of 14 service-residential buildings with a total area of 12,000 sqm and a cubature of 29,000 meters3, the construction of a two-level parking garage for 117 vehicles and the modernization of the surface of the square. Offers with a tender deposit of 400,000 PLN are being accepted until May 12, and the date of completion of the investment has been set for 24 months. ■
