RETAIL OUTLETS
Varitex will build shopping center with Kaufland hypermarket on 3.5 hectares in Konstantynów Łódzki. In June Varitex began, as general contractor and developer, ground works on the realization of the first part of the shopping center which will be built in the Srebrna district in Konstantynów Łódzki, near the intersection of Łódzka and Spółdzielcza streets. This stage of the investment, located near the border of the city of Łódź, will include the construction, on an approx. 2-hectare lot, of a Kaufland hypermarket with a parking lot. The design of the outlet was prepared by the Lipski i Wujek workshop.
1.5 hectares of land will be developed in the second stage. It has not yet been decided what will be built on this area. The construction of a shopping gallery or a DIY hypermarket is being considered.
Varitex is also conducting advanced negotiations regarding the development of a gallery, located at the junction of Jana Pawła II and Kopernika streets. After the investment is completed, the net area of the complex will reach approx. 4,000 sqm. Over 3,100 sqm of space has been leased so far and the remaining 900 sqm remains to be leased. ■
APA Markowski designing shopping gallery with usable area of approx. 7,000 sqm in Warsaw. APA Markowski Architekci Workshop is designing a shopping gallery with an office section which will be built on Traktorzystów Street in Warsaw-Ursus, on a part of the area of the former tractor factory. The planned outlet will be 4 stories high, with the 3 lower levels being used for
a complex of shops and services and the highest level for offices. The usable area of the building will exceed 6,900 sqm, including almost 4,700 sqm net for lease. The investor of the enterprise does not yet want to reveal his name. Construction works should commence by the end of this year. ■
TFFT is preparing shopping-service complex with area of approx. 5,000 sqm in Tomaszów Mazowiecki. TFFT (Tomaszów Technical Felt Factory) has prepared a concept for the development of production outlets into an Activity and Entertainment Center in Tomaszów Mazowiecki (Łódzkie Voivodship). The enterprise will consist of the development of outlets with a total area of approx. 5,000 sqm. The company is planning to move its activity into another part of the property and to modernize the outlets on Warszawska and Św. Antoniego streets together with an outside investor. Preliminary plans assume the localization of retail and service space (including gastronomy outlets,
a fitness center and a sports store). ■
Trasko-Stal will build Eurocash Cash&Carry retail outlet in Zgorzelec. Zdzisław Żark, the owner of the company Handel Hurtowo-Detaliczny, is the investor of
a retail-warehouse outlet which has begun to be constructed on Łużycka Street in Zgorzelec (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). The enterprise, being carried out on a lot with an area of over 0.5 hectare, will include the construction of a wholesale hall with an area of 2,400 sqm. The tenant of the building will be Eurocash Cash&Carry.
The investment is planned to be completed in early December 2009. The works are being supervised directly by the investor and the main sub-contractor is Trasko-Stal. ■
Henpol has commenced construction of shopping center with area of 2,700 sqm in Opole Lubelskie. Henpol from Lublin has commenced, as general contractor, the construction of a shopping center in Opole Lubelskie. The outlet will have an area of approx. 2,700 and will house a Stokrotka supermarket and a complex of smaller shops and services. The works on the investment, worth approx. 10 mln PLN, will be completed at the turn of November and December of this year. ■
KR Studio designing shopping center with area of approx. 3,000 sqm for IVS in Mielec. The KR Studio Architectural Workshop is conducting advanced works on the design of a shopping center which IVS, a developer from Dębica, is planning to build on an 0.5-hectare lot on Biernackiego Street in Mielec (Podkarpackie Voivodship). According to the documentation which is being prepared now, the outlet will have a net area of approx. 3,000 sqm. The general contractor of the investment will be chosen at the end of this year. ■
Eltron will build retail-warehouse complex with area of approx. 1,600 sqm in Białystok. Jan Klewinowski, owner of the Eltron Company, has obtained an environmental decision for the construction of a warehouse-shopping complex on Wysockiego Street in Białystok. The enterprise will consist of the construction, on a lot with an area of
0.2 hectare, of a building with an area of approx. 1,600 sqm, including approx. 800 sqm which will be used as
a warehouse-shopping section and another 800 sqm as
a social-administrative section. Electric and electrotechnical materials and equipment will be sold in the outlets. ■
Invest Group preparing construction of PoloMarket with area of 1,300 sqm in Tychów. The Invest Group Company from Świecie has completed administrative procedures connected with plans for the construction of a PoloMarket chain store in Tychów (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship). The outlet will be located on Białogardzka Street, on the property of the bankrupt POM. The enterprise will include the construction of a shopping-service pavillion with a gallery for local entrepreneurs with an area of 1,300 sqm. The schedule of the investment assumes the possibility of commencing works in 2010. ■
SM Winogrady and PSS Społem will rebuild Megasam Newa in Poznań for approx. 5 mln PLN. Preparations for the development of Megasam Newa in the Wichrowe Wzgórze Housing Estate in Poznań are at the stage of acquiring administrative permits. The outlet, with an area of over 3,300 sqm, will be developed with another wing with 20 cubicles for local merchants. The cost of the works is estimated at approx. 5 mln PLN. The investment will be financed jointly by the Winogrady Housing Cooperative, the owner of the outlet, and PSS Społem Poznań, the main tenant of retail space. ■
PRODUCTION AND WAREHOUSE OUTLETS
Adamed Pharma will develop production complex in Ksawerów near Łódź for over 35.5 mln PLN. Several days ago the Adamed Pharma Company obtained permission for commencing an investment in the Łódź Special Economic Zone in Ksawerów. The enterprise will consist of developing the existing plant for over 35.5 mln PLN. Works will include the construction of a warehouse, office outlets and a quality control laboratory. ■
Energopol commences construction of Glecore grain warehouse with cubature of 182,000 meters3 in Szczecin. Energopol from Szczecin has commenced foundation works on the construction of a grain warehouse on Nabrzeże Słowackie in Szczecin. The investor of the enterprise is the Elewator Ewa Company, which belongs to Glecore Polska. The investment will cost approx. 20 mln PLN. The enterprise will consist of the construction of an outlet with an area of almost 6,800 sqm and a cubature of over 182,000 meters3. The works will last until mid 2010. ■
ZEK will build production-warehouse complex with area of 5,000 sqm in Tarnów. Several days ago ZEK (Construction Elements Plant) from Warsaw received permission for commencing an investment in the Krakow Park of Technology, in the Tarnów sub-zone (Małopolskie Voivodship). The investor is planning to build a complex of production-warehouse halls with an area of 5,000 sqm. The cost of the works will reach 15 mln PLN. The factory will produce reinfocing nets for prefabricated elements used in the construction industry. ■
Agrostop will build warehouse-logistics complex with area of over 5,500 sqm near Terespol. In March Agrostop obtained environmental permits for the construction of a reloading terminal in Małaszewice Małe near Terespol (Lubelskie Voivodship). The total area of the warehouse complex will exceed 5,500 sqm. The land used for the development will have an area of over 7.8 hectares. The works will be carried out in three stages and will include the construction of ceramic, steel and electrical material warehouses. ■
Brun-Pol is planning construction of production plant in Rypin for 13 mln PLN. The Brun-Pol Company,
a producer of power appliances, is planning to build
a production plant which will employ approx. 50 people in Rypin (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship). Planned investment expenditure is 13 mln PLN. The enterprise will be located on municipal lots, next to the planned Pol-Aqua plant, which will be incorporated into the Pomorska Special Economic Zone. The total area of both companies' lots is 3.6 mln PLN. ■
Authorities of Kalisz and the Energa concern will build waste burning plant for approx. 150 mln PLN. On June 10 the authorities of Kalisz (Wielkopolskie Voivodship) signed a letter of intent with the Energa power concern concerning the construction and exploitation of
a communal waste burning plant. The cost of the enterprise is estimated at approx. 100-150 mln PLN. A lot belonging to Kalisz-Piwonice Heat and Power Plant is pointed out as a likely location of the complex. The installation should be opened no later than in 2013. ■
Eko-Biomasa will build production complex with area of approx. 3,000 sqm near Pacanów. Eko-Biomasa is conducting administrative preparations connected with plans for the opening of a complex processing plant-derived products in Biechów near Pacanów (Świętokrzyskie Voivodship). The enterprise will consist of the reconstruction of a warehouse outlet with an area of approx. 2,200 sqm and the construction of a new hall with an area of approx. 1,000 sqm. A lot with an area of over
1.5 hectares will be used for the enterprise.
EuroCeras will also build a new production hall. An outlet with an area of approx. 500 sqm equipped with an oxidized powder polyethylene installation with an area of approx. 500 sqm will be built on Szkolna Street in Kędzierzyn-Koźle (Opolskie Voivodship). EuroCeras deals with the production of polyethylene waxes. ■
Bet-Bud is preparing construction of production complex near Aleksandrowo Kujawskie. The Bet-Bud Company from Ciechocinek has obtained administrative permits connected with plans for the construction of
a production complex in Stawki near Aleksandrowo Kujawskie (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship). The investment will consist of a plant producing bituminous masses and asphalt. The investor is planning to move the corporation to Stawki from Ciechocinek because local residents have opposed the presence of the plant there. The scope of the investment will include the construction of
a production installation and a social-laboratory-workshop building and a gatehouse. ■
OFFICE BUILDINGS
Haus Broker is supervising construction of an office complex on 2 hectares in Rzeszów by Orlewski's design. Haus Broker is supervising the construction of the City Park office outlet on Podwisłocze Street in Rzeszów. The investment, which will be the first stage of the construction of an office-service complex, is currently at the stage of building the shell. The investment is planned to be completed in March of next year. The works are being carried out without a general contractor and subcontracting companies are chosen for each of the stages. The area of the office building will exceed 2,100 sqm. The investor is a private individual who has not revealed his name. The architectural design was prepared by the Orlewski workshop.
The remaining section of the two-hectare property belonging to the investor will be developed into an office-service complex with an underground garage in the subsequent stages of the enterprise. ■
Plo 3D Architeki preparie construction of residential-hotel-office complex with area of 23,000 sqm in Kraków. Paweł Koperski and Karolina Kosla from the 3D Architekci Workshop are supervising preparations for the development of a property located in the area of Kobierzyńska, Rydlówka and Rzemieślnicza streets in Kraków-Podgórze. The investor of the enterprise is Zbigniew Jasiewicz. Proceedings connected to establishing the effects of several stages of the investment (for example the construction of a complex of office buildings with an area of approx. 23,000 sqm, multi-family residential buildings with an area of approx. 11,500 sqm and a hotel outlet with an area of 8,900 sqm) on the environment are being carried out now at the local magistrate. The investment will be completed with a multi-level parking lot with an area of approx. 14,000 sqm. ■
CF Plus will open office building with usable area of 18,500 sqm in Poznań. In the past few days the CF Plus Company signed with the Wechta Company a preliminary purchase agreement for the unfinished “Warta Apartments” building, located at the junction of Szyperska and Estkowskiego streets in Poznań. The enterprise, designed by the Archikwadrat workshop, is currently at the stage of the shell being completed. The shell was built by Unibet from Piła. The buyer is planning to implement the necessary changes in the existing construction and to finish the construction using it for office space and not, as the previous investor had planned, for residential space. The outlet, which will have an area of 18,500 sqm, will also include service facilities.
Recently CF Plus also purchased the “Panorama” shopping center in Gorzów Wielkopolski. After the commercialization indicators are improved, the gallery will be sold to one of the real estate funds. ■
ABB Development is preparing construction of office building for Top-Bud in Warsaw. ABB Development,
a dependent company of Adrian Bieniek's Top-Bud, is conducting preparations for the construction of a retail outlet at the junction of Nowogrodzka and Poznańska streets in Warsaw. Representatives of the investor, due to the early stage of the conceptual works, have not yet revealed the architectural details of the enterprise. It is only known that it will include the construction of a six-story office building with an underground garage. The investor has already received conditions of development. The schedule assumes obtaining all the necessary administrative permits within 18 months. ■
Consortium of Industria and Prostal wants to design technological park in Białystok for over 925,000 PLN. Twenty-three bids have been submitted in a tender procedure organized by the authorities of Białystok for designing the Białystok Park of Science-Technology. The lowest bid, worth 925,000 PLN gross, was submitted by
a consortium of Industria and Prostal. a technological center, production halls and science-research facilities will be built on a 6.8-hectare lot in the area of Żurawia, Borsucza and Myśliwska streets. Documentation should be ready by July 2010. ■
Dombud and PBUT Śląsk submitted lowest bids in tender for construction of Customs Chambers in Katowice. Eight bids have been submitted in a tender procedure announced by the Customs Chamber in Katowice for the construction of its new seat on Słoneczna Street. The most advantageous bids were submitted by Dombud from Katowice and PBUiT Śląsk. Other entities taking part in the procedure are: a consortium led by Piecobud, BPBP, Mostostal Kraków, HB-Unibud, Gliwice BP and
a consortium led by ŁęgPrzem.
The investment will include the construction of an office building with an area of 6,200 sqm and a cubature of 32,000 meters3. The enterprise, the documentation of which was prepared by the Pro-Arch-2 workshop from Czechowice, should be ready within 36 months. ■
Polish Naval Academy is seeking contractor of teaching outlet with cubature of 32,000 meters3 in Gdynia. The Polish Naval Academy has announced a limited tender with a deposit of 300,000 PLN for the construction of the University Library along with an Auditorium-Information Center on Śnidowicza Street in Gdynia. The enterprise, designed by Krzysztof Kozłowski's Architektura Workshop, will consist of a 3-story outlet with a cubature of 32,000 meters3. The cost of the investment is estimated at 40 mln PLN, including 15 mln PLN which will come from EU funds. Applications for taking part in the procedure are being accepted until July 20. The order should be completed within 40 months. ■
Ingerop will design technological complex in Toruń for over 0.5 mln PLN. The authorities of Toruń have chosen the bid submitted by Ingerop, with a gross price of 549,000 PLN, in a tender procedure for the design of the Center for Modernity and Toruń Incubator of Technology on the premises of Młyny Toruńskie on Kościuszki and Łokietka streets. Barysz Point Line wanted to realize the investment for a lower price, but the company's bid was rejected.
The enterprise will consist of the adaptation of outlets with a usable area of over 2,700 sqm and 1,200 sqm. Documentation should be completed on February 1 of next year. ■
In August Authorities of Katowice will choose designer of office building with cubature of over 16,000 sqm. The City of Katowice has announced a tender procedure for the modernization of a building on Młyńska Street, where the editorial office of Dziennik Zachodni used to be located. Works on the investment will include a 9-story outlet with a height of 32 meters, a usable area of 4,900 sqm and
a cubature of 16,000 meters3. Bids with a tender deposit of 16,000 sqm are being accepted until July 21. Documentation of the enterprise, the value of which is estimated at approx. 1 mln PLN gross, will be prepared within 7 months. ■
WWSSE is seeking contractor of teaching outlet with cubature of 21,000 meters3 in Środa Wielkopolska. WWSSE (College of Social Sciences and Economics) has announced a procedure for the general contractorship of
a teaching building on Surzyńskich Street in Środa Wielkopolska. The construction of an outlet with a net area of 5,300 sqm and a cubature of 21,000 meters3 is planned there. The documentation was prepared by Magdalena Mackiewicz-Adamczewska. Bids with a tender deposit of 450,000 PLN are being accepted until July 15. The works should be completed on August 1, 2010. ■
AWF will spend 33 mln PLN on construction of teaching-sports complex in Wrocław. Until June
20 Wrocław Academy of Physical Education (AWF) is accepting bids with a tender deposit of 300,000 PLN for preparing a sports complex on Pola Marsowe. Plans include the construction of a 3-story teaching outlet with an area of 3,100 sqm and a cubature of 19,400 meters3 and exterior sports fields with a total area of approx. 36,000 sqm. Documentation of the investment, supervised by Miastoprojekt Wrocław, was prepared by Janusz Blachowski's workshop. The project, worth an estimated 33 mln PLN, should be completed in March 2011. ■
A3 will design office complex with area of ca. 4,500 sqm in Częstochowa for 640,000 PLN. Agnieszka Romanowska's A3 Project Workshop will receive
a contract worth 640,000 PLN gross for preparing the documentation of an office building of the First Tax Office in Częstochowa (Śląskie Voivodship) on Filomatów Street. The enterprise will include the modernization of two buildings with a total usable area of 3,000 sqm and
a cubature of 13,500 meters3 as well as their development by approx. 1,500 sqm. Design works should be completed by November 16 of this year. ■
Flisbud will build teaching outlet in Opole for 13.8 mln PLN. Flisbud's bid, with a gross price of 13.8 mln PLN, was chosen as the most advantageous in a procedure organized by the University of Opole for the reconstruction of the Faculty of Chemistry on Oleska Street. Let us recall that the lowest bid, with a gross price of 10.8 mln PLN, was submitted by Budostal-2, but the bid was rejected after a protest.
The scope of the enterprise will include the modernization of an outlet with an area of 3,800 sqm and the addition of a connector (approx. 220 sqm). Documentation of the enterprise was prepared by Henryk Witowski's design workshop. Works on the investment will be completed within 18 months. ■
Wrobis wants to build Biotechnology Laboratory for over 11.7 mln PLN in Opole. Nine bids were submitted in a tender procedure announced by the University of Opole for the contractorship of a Biotechnology Laboratory in Opole. The lowest bid, with a gross price of over 11.78 mln PLN gross ,was submitted by Wrobis. Haraś-Inter-System (13.78 mln PLN), a consortium of Rekonsbud-Odnowa (13.8 mln PLN), Budostal-2 (13.94 mln PLN), Pol-Aqua (14.95 mln PLN), consortium of Opex-Adamietz
(23.46 mln PLN), Polbau (12.73 mln PLN), Energopol Trade (12.7 mln PLN) and consortium of Techbud-IXO (13.24 mln PLN) are also taking part in the procedure.
The works on Kominka Street in Opole should last until March 30, 2011. Documentation of the outlet, with a total area of 3,300 sqm, was prepared by Projekt Studio 2000. ■
Pribo EPB will modernize teaching outlets in Ełk for 12.9 mln pLN. Pribo EPB has won a tender procedure for the modernization of the Number 6 School Complex in Ełk (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship) on Kajki Street. The value of the contract, entrusted by city authorities, will reach 12.9 mln PLN gross. Skomand Building Cooperative, which suggested a price of 13.5 mln PLN, also took part in the procedure.
Architectural documentation of the reconstruction of outlets, with a total area of 10,400 sqm and a cubature of 44,500 meters3, was prepared by Witold Kowalczyk's Design Workshop. Works are planned to be completed in August of next year. ■
RZI is seeking designer of modernization of outlet with cubature of 17,300 meters3 in Łódź. Regional Infrastructure Management in Bydgoszcz is accepting bids for the modernization design of a dormitory on Źródłowa Street in Łódź until June 30. The enterprise will include the adaptation of former army barracks with a usable area of 4,400 sqm and a cubature of 17,300 meters3 for the needs of the Foreign Language Teaching Center. Documentation should be prepared within 150 days. ■
Authorities of Toruń are preparing construction of teaching complex with cubature of over 30,000 meters3. The authorities of Toruń are planning the construction of an elementary school with a preschool in the Bielawy-Grębocin housing estate. According to the concept, prepared by Cezary Owczarek's local ComProjekt workshop, the enterprise will include the construction of
a 3-story outlet with a usable area of 5,800 sqm and
a cubature of 30,300 meters3. The procedure for preparing the detailed designs, which will be completed by March
15 of next year, is in progress now. ■
Bente Kahan is seeking contractor of modernization of teaching-exhibition outlet in Wrocław. The Bente Kahan Foundation has announced a tender procedure for the adaptation of space and equipping of a Synagogue for serving exhibition and educational functions. Works will be carried out in the Pod Białym Bocianem Synagogue, which has an area of over 3,100 sqm, on Włodkowica Street in Wrocław. The deposit is 4,000 sqm and applications for taking part in the tender procedure can be submitted until July 17. The deadline for completing the works has been set for December 15 of this year. The architectural concept of the investment was prepared by Archikon. ■
Barysz Point Line will design teaching center with area of 2,200 sqm in Warsaw. Barysz Point Line workshop has won a tender procedure for the reconstruction design of the Aviation Institute training center on Krakowska Avenue in Warsaw. The construction of a 2-story outlet with a total area of 2,200 sqm and a cubature of 11,000 meters3 is planned. The order should be completed within 3 months. ■
HOUSING INVESTMENTS
Invest Komfort is preparing construction of housing estate with app. 300 apartment units in Gdańsk-Zaspa. Piotr Tarkowski, communications spokesman of Invest Komfort, has informed PREM that the first part of the “Nadmorski Dwór” housing estate, planned in Gdańsk-Zaspa in the area of Czarny Dwór and Hallera streets, will be offered for sale in the fall of this year. Construction works on the investment will also begin this year.
The first stage of the complex, designed by the Maarte workshop from Sopot, will consist of 3 buildings with a total of 77 apartments and a park with a complex of sports-recreation outlets (sports fields, courts). These will be put to use in the first half of 2011. The entire complex will consist of 3-4 parts, similar in size. ■
Arcobaleno is preparing construction of residential-office complex with area of 8,000 sqm in Nowa Sól. Giulio Piantini, owner of the Arcobaleno footwear company, is preparing the reconstruction of a factory complex in Nowa Sól (Lubuskie Voivodship) into
a residential-office outlet. The investor purchased the property on Głowackiego Street in 2003 and opened the production of footwear there. Currently, the investor is preparing a concept of the adaptation of the outlets, with
a usable area of approx. 8,000 sqm and located on an almost 1-hectare lot, into residential functions, with complementary service and office space. During previous investments in Poland, for example the construction of an office-apartment complex in Zielona Góra, the Inblu footwear factory in Czerwieńsk and the adaptation of the castle in Siedlisko into a hotel complex, Giulio Piantini cooperated with architect Jerzy Gołębiowski from Zielona Góra. ■
Karmar will build apartment complex with total area of 15,400 sqm in area of Serock. For several weeks Karmar has been working as general contractor on the construction of the “Apartamenty Wierzbica” housing complex in Wierzbica near Serock (Mazowieckie Voivodship). The realization of the investment, which will include
6 buildings with a total area of approx. 15,400 sqm (including a usable area of the apartments of over
6,700 sqm and of services approx. 1,000 sqm) with
89 apartments, will be completed in the spring of next year.
The developer of the enterprise is the Przystań Company and the architectural design was prepared by GiS Architekci. As we informed, the complex was earlier built by the Wiatraczna company which carried out approx. 30% of all the works. ■
Ruch is preparing construction of residential-service complex on 11 Listopada Street in Warsaw. The company Ruch is conducting administrative proceedings regarding the plans for the construction of residential complex on 11 Listopada Street in Warsaw. The construction of a residential complex with shopping-service premises and garages for over 300 vehicles is planned in the Praga-Północ district. Due to the negative decision concerning environmental conditions and development of new documentation for the investment, we have not been able to find out architectural details of the project. ■
Yu Long Construction is preparing construction of complex with 120 flats in Kielce. The authorities of Kielce (Świętokrzyskie Voivodship) have agreed to pass over a real property with an area of approx. 1 hectare, situated on Szajnowicza-Iwanowa Street in the Ślichowice district, as contribution to the partnership established together with the Chinese company Yu Long Construction. The investment will comprise the construction of
a complex of residential buildings with approx. 120 flats. The author of architectural concept should be known within the next two weeks.
Let us recall that originally, the company was going to build a residential complex on Lecha Street, in the area of Rejonowe Przedsiębiorstwo Zieleni. The cost of the investment was estimated at 20 million PLN. ■

144 flats in Nowy Sącz. Until 28th July, Sądeckie Towarzystwo Budownictwa Społecznego (Social Building Association) will be collecting offers, along with a deposit of 200,000 PLN, concerning general contractorship of
a residential complex on 29 Listopada Street in Nowy Sącz (Małopolskie Voivodship). The investment will comprise the construction of 3 buildings with a cubature of 32,000 meters3, and 144 flats with a total usable area of 10,900 sqm.
The construction works will be supervised by Przedsiębiorstwo Wielobranżowe Elma. Completion of the investment, the design of which has been prepared by Biuro Architektoniczne Artur Jasiński i Wspólnicy, is to take 22 months. ■
Erbud will erect service-residential building with app. 90 flats in Warsaw for 31.2 million PLN for LC Corp. Last week, Erbud signed a contract worth over 31.2 million PLN gross with the company Warszawa Przy Promenadzie from the LC Corp group concerning the construction of
a multi-family building in the area of Mikołajczyka and Rechniewskiego streets in Warsaw. The 13-story building is going to have 85 flats and 6 service premises. According to preliminary assumptions, the construction is to last until the 1st quarter of 2011 (16.5 months from the moment of obtaining the required permits).
Erbud was also the general contractor of the previous stages of the Przy Promenadzie residential complex, designed by the Fajans Ścisło i Partnerzy Arcus office. ■
Cekom wants to build residential building in Warsaw-Żoliborz for over 15 million PLN. Cekom has made the lowest offer (15.07 million PLN gross) in a tender issued by the Warsaw-Żoliborz District Office concerning the construction of a communal building with 70 flats on Sybilli Street. Other participants of the tender are Łuczbud (17.18 million PLN), BudBaum (17.51 million PLN), PBM Południe (17.31 million PLN), Dorbud (15.94 million PLN), AMPP (17.33 million PLN) and ZabBud
(16.91 million PLN).
The six-story building with area of 6,700 sqm and cubature of 26,400 meters3 has been designed by Warsaw based office Neoinvest. The investment is to be finalized in March 2011. ■
Moduł will design building with 90 flats for TBS in Głogów. Towarzystwo Budownictwa Społecznego (Social Building Association) in Głogów (Dolnośląskie Voivodship) has hired Lubin based architectural office Moduł to prepare a concept and design of a residential building No. 13 on Książąt Oleśnickich Street in the Piastów Śląskich residential complex. The investment will comprise the construction of a 4-story building with 90 flats. Architectural works, the value of which has been estimated at nearly 100,000 PLN gross, will be carried out by the end of next January. ■
Unibep will build, for app. 11 million PLN, apartment building with approx. 40 flats in Warsaw for Marvipol. On 23rd June, Marvipol ordered a contract worth nearly 10.9 million PLN gross to Unibep concerning general contractorhsip of an apartment building on Wyścigowa St. in Warsaw. The building with a usable area of 3,400 sqm, named Villa Cavaletti, is going to have nearly 40 flats. The construction works will begin on 15th July of this year and last until the end of September of next year. ■
Archimedia will design multi-family building with
60 flats in Warsaw-Rembertów. Poznań based office Archimedia has won a tender, issued by the authorities of the Rembertów district, concerning the development of documentation of a residential building in the area of Kacpury and Bellony streets. The plans anticipate construction of a building with 60 flats with a total area of 2,100 sqm. Architectural works, the value of which will amount to 100,000 PLN gross, are to be carried out by the end of this November. ■
Miastoprojekt-Bydgoszcz will design building with
45 flats in Świnoujście. Miastoprojekt-Bydgoszcz has begun works on the documentation of residential building which is to be built on Grunwaldzka St. in Świnoujście (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship). According to the contract with the value of over 100,000 PLN, signed with the city authorities in May, the company is going to design, by this December, a 3-story building with 45 flats. ■
Construction of residential building with area of 3,200 sqm is being prepared in Opole. Preparations for the construction of a residential-service building on Powolnego Leona Street in Opole are at the stage of architectural works, being conducted by the architect Elżbieta Widziszowska. The investment will comprise the construction of a five-story building with an area of approx. 3,200 sqm, with 30 flats and a 1,400 sqm service-shopping section. Wiesław Flak is to design electrical systems in the building. At the present stage of preparations, the investor has not revealed his name. ■
Authorities of Police seek contractor for residential building with usable area of 2,100 sqm. Until 7th July, City Office in Police (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship) will be collecting offers with a deposit of 130,000 PLN concerning the general contractorship of a residential building on Niedziałkowskiego Street. The investment, the design of which has been prepared by Agnieszka Szczygielska from the local office As, will comprise the construction of a building with a usable area of 2,100 sqm and cubature of 8,800 meters3, with 32 flats. ASW Architekci is designing 4-star hotel Qubus with approx. 200 beds in Poznań. Local office ASW Architekci is designing Qubus hotel, which is to be erected on Głogowska St. in Poznań. Building documentation is ready, and a permit for realization of the investment has been issued; currently, interior design works are in progress.
The 4-star hotel will have over 100 rooms with nearly 200 beds. The construction works are to start at the beginning of next year and last until the 3rd quarter of 2011. ■
Condite begins construction of Odyssey ClubHotel Wellness&SPA complex in Masłów near Kielce. Condite from the Kolporter group has become the general contractor of the Odyssey ClubHotel Wellnexx&SPA complex on Szybowcowa St. in Masłów near Kielce. The investor is Piotr Syska, owner of the Alutechnika Inwestycje Company. The architectural design has been prepared by the Team office from Busko-Zdrój. It includes the construction of a 4-star hotel with 48 rooms and
4 apartments, three conference rooms (10, 100, 200 people) and a recreation part with an area of 1,400 sqm with the SPA&wellness complex. The complex will also have
a restaurant with a 300 meter viewing balcony. The complex is to be put into use in August 2010. ■
K&K Kośniewski Development prepares hotel-recreation complex with area of approx. 7,500 sqm in Wrocław. K&K Kośniewski Development is preparing a new concept for the development of a land plot of the former Piekarnia Mamut bakery on Sienkiewicza St. in Wrocław. The investor is planning to adapt the historical building development for the purposes of a hotel with some 82-110 rooms, meeting four- or five-star standards, with an area of approx. 5,500 sqm, with conference-restaurant and SPA facilities (approx. 1,900 sqm). The complex will also have 26 raised-standards lofts.
In the second stage of the investment, the company will build two new wings appropriated for apartments with an area of 12,000 sqm, and 9,200 sqm of A+ class offices. Architectural works are currently in progress; the works should begin next year in the spring and take 2.5 years. The investor is planning to conduct the investment in the packet system. ■
Warimpex acquires permit for construction of hotel with area of 2,900 sqm in Zielona Góra. In May, LWIH Property Holding Poland, a company subordinate to Warimpex, acquired a permit for the construction of a hotel building on Wrocławska St. in Zielona Góra (Lubuskie Voivodship). The investment will comprise the construction of a building with an area of building development amounting to 892,000 sqm, a usable area of nearly 2,900 sqm and cubature of over 11,000 meters3. The hotel is going to have 80 rooms. Let us recall that last year, Warimpex declared to begin, together with Louvre Hotels, construction of hotels in Zielona Góra, Wrocław, Krakow, Rzeszów and Bydgoszcz. ■
Medical University seeks contractor for students' hotel with 160 rooms in Poznań. Until 31st July, Karol Marcinkowski Medical University (UM) will be collecting offers with a deposit of 376,500 PLN concerning the realization of the shell structure of the Students' House on Rokietnicka St. in Poznań. Works on the contract are to be finalized by 30th April 2010. The investment will comprise the modernization of buildings with a total area of 6,100 sqm and cubature of 37,000 meters3, belonging to Rzeszów Philharmonics. Wudimeks will be substitute investor for extension of Częstochowa Philharmonics for 43 million PLN. Przedsiębiorstwo Inwestycyjne Wudimeks has won
a tender for fulfilling, for over 0.5 million PLN gross, the role of substitute investor on the extension of Częstochowa Philharmonics on Wilsona Street. The investment, designed by Gliwice based office Archiprojekt-Robiprojekt, will comprise modernization of the building (5,000 sqm) and construction of a new building with an area of 2,900 sqm. The investment, worth over 43 million PLN, will receive a subsidy of nearly 37 million PLN from the European Union. ■
Braniewo authorities are planning construction of recreation-sports complex for 18 million PLN. Braniewo City Office (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship) is planning the construction of a recreation-sports complex Zdrowe Braniewo on Łąkowa Street. The planned complex will include a roofed swimming pool with the main pool sized 25 x 12 m and seats for 200 spectators, as well as
a beauty parlor. A tender for general contractorship of the investment will be issued soon. The design of the investment, the cost of which is estimated at 18 million PLN, has been prepared by Nadarzyn based office Pas Projekt Archi Studio. ■
Murdza will extend medical complex in Radziszów for 17.1 million PLN. Zakład Remontowo-Budowlany Murdza has made the lowest offer, with the price of
17.1 million PLN gross, in a tender for the extension and modernization of the main hospital building at the Małopolskie Children Rehabilitation Center “Solidarność” in Radziszów (Małopolskie Voivodship). Other participants of the tender were Chemobudowa

Kazimierz Pułaski Museum in Warka is preparing extension of complex for 14.5 million PLN. Kazimierz Pułaski Museum in Warka (Mazowieckie Voivodship) has announced that they had received a subsidy of 9.2 million PLN for the investment including modernization and extension of the museum complex in Warka-Winiary. The investment worth 14.5 million PLN will comprise modernization of a palace with a usable area of over 816 sqm and cubature of 4,500 meters3, revitalization of the park, and construction of a new exhibition pavilion. Architectural works for the 1st stage of the investment have been ordered to Radom based office APIS Projektowanie Architektoniczne. According to schedule, the overhaul should begin this autumn. ■
BPBP will build concert hall in Bielsko-Biała for
14.2 million PLN. The management of the Stanisław Moniuszko State Music School of the 1st and 2nd Degree in Bielsko-Biała has announced that Bielskie Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Przemysłowego had been chosen as the general contractor of a concert hall on Wyspiańskiego Stret. The value of the contract, the realization of which is to take 14 months, will amount to 14.2 million PLN gross. The design of the building with an area of approx. 6,000 sqm has been prepared by Warsaw based offices Arpes and Studio “Architekt” Juliusz Marcinkowski. ■
Wołomin authorities seek contractor for roofed swimming pool with cubature of 19,400 meters3. Until 21st July, the City Office in Wołomin near Warsaw will be collecting offers with a deposit of 280,000 PLN concerning the construction of the Regional Center for Promotion of Tourism and Recreation. The investment, the cost of which is estimated at 23 million PLN, is to comprise the construction of a roofed swimming pool with a net area of 3,700 sqm and cubature of 19,400 meters3, with the main pool sized 25 x 16 m, and seats for 200 spectators. a tender for the construction of a roofed swimming pool in Sokołów Małopolski (Podkarpackie Voivodship) on Pileckich St. The value of the contract, ordered by the city authorities, will amount to 13.4 million PLN gross. Fourteen companies took part in the tender.
Design documentation of the building with an area of 3,000 sqm and cubature of 15,200 meters3 has been prepared by the Pro-Arch-2 office. The construction is being supervised by TDS Usługi Inwestycyjne, which will be paid approx. 1.4% of the net value of the supervised works. The works should be finalized by 30th June 2011. ■

Bydgoskie Przedsiębiorstwo Obsługi Inwestycyjnej has won a tender for the role of supervision inspector for the construction of a roofed swimming pool at the Osiedle Kazimierza Wielkiego residential complex in Nakło on River Noteć (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship). The investment, designed by APA Archis, will comprise the construction of a building with a total area of 4,000 sqm (2,400 sqm of usable area) and cubature of 20,600 meters3. Completion of the investment will take 42 months. ■
Chranowski office will design, for nearly 400,000 PLN, surgery clinic with area of 2,000 sqm in Wrocław. The consortium of Andrzej Chranowski's office Architects&Co and Ligaszewski Studio has made the lowest offer (397,000 PLN gross) in a tender for the development of a design for the Surgery and Children's Urology Clinic at the Medical Academy in Wrocław. The building with a usable area of 2,000 sqm will be situated on M. Skłodowskiej-Curie Street. Documentation is to be ready by 30th November of this year. ■
Budex will build sports complex in Kowalewo Pomorskie for 6.5 million PLN. Budex has won a tender for the construction of the Sports and Recreation Center on Chopina Street in Kowalewo Pomorskie (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship). The value of the contract, ordered by the commune authorities, will amount to 6.5 million PLN gross. The second participant of the tender was Tamex, which offered the price of 7.3 million PLN.

The investment, the realization of which is to be finalized by 30th September 2011, has been designed by Włocławek based company “Izol”. ■

Warmińskie Przedsiębiorstwo Budowlane has won a tender for general contractorship of a gym at the Middle School No. 16 on Skarżyńskiego St. in Warsaw. The value of the contract, ordered by the Ochota district authorities, will amount to 6.4 million PLN. The investment, designed by APA Archis, will comprise the construction of a hall with
a usable area of approx. 2,400 sqm. The construction works are to be finalized by 15th December of next year. ■

Skanska-Intercor consortium offered to build western ring road for Poznań for 458 million PLN. The consortium of Skanska and Intercor has made the lowest offer, with the price of 458 million PLN, in a tender for the construction of the first section of the western ring road for Poznań. The budget of contract for the construction of
14 km of the road, connecting A2 motorway with Swadzim, was set at approx. 658 millioon PLN. Works on the investment are to last until the end of 2011. ■
Skanska will build ring road for Serock for 139 million PLN. Skanska has made the lowest offer, with the price of 139 million PLN gross, in a tender for the construction of a ring road for Serock (Mazowieckie Voivodship). Other participants of the tender are: Budimex Dromex

Skanska wants to modernize Warsaw-Gdańska train station for over 129 million PLN. Four offers have been submitted in a tender, issued by PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe (Polish Rail), concerning the modernization of the Warsaw-Gdańska train station. The lowest offer, with the price of over 129.4 million PLN gross, has been made by the consortium of Skanska SA and Skanska DS a.s. Other participants of the tender are the consortia of Intercor-Astaldi-BPK Katowice-Mosty Katowice (over 178.4 million PLN), Trakcja Polska-PRK 7-PRKiI-PRK Kraków (over 158 million PLN) and Mostostal Warszawa-Przedsiębiorstwo Napraw Infrastruktury-Transprojekt Gdańsk (over 131 million PLN). The investment, the cost of which has been estimated at approx. 122 million PLN, will comprise the modernization of two platforms, track arrangements for passenger trains, construction of an underground passage connecting the platforms, metro station and both sides of the Warsaw-Gdańska train station, modernization of the train traffic control equipment and construction of the switch tower. The works will be finalized within 13 months from signing the contract with the contractor. ■
Fojud and Poyry Infra will design, for 7 million PLN, modernization of Roosevelta Street in Poznań. City Roads Management (ZDM) in Poznań has hired the consortium of companies Fojud and Poyry Infra to design the modernization of Roosevelta Street between Teatralny Bridge and Dworcowy Bridge, as well as modernization of Kaponiera Roundabout. Works on the investment, the cost of which is estimated at 150 million PLN, are to be finalized in April 2012. ■
GDDKiA seeks contractor for Pabianice ring road. Łódź Division of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has issued a tender with a deposit of 3 million PLN concerning the construction of
a ring road for Pabianice (Łódzkie Voivodship). The planned route will constitute a part of National Road No. 14 and S14 between Ksawerów and Dobroń, and will be 15 km long. Applications concerning admission to tender will be collected until 14th July. Works on the investment are to be finalized by 30th November 2011. ■
WYG International will design, for 2.2 million PLN, modernization of DW 754 road. Świętokrzyski Zarząd Dróg Wojewódzkich (Voivodship Roads Management) has announced that the company WYG International had been ordered a contract worth 2.2 million PLN gross concerning the development of documentation for the modernization of Voivodship Road No. 754. The investment concerns
a 27 km long section of the road, located in the Bodzechów, Bałtów and Tarłów communes. Architectural works are to be finalized by 31st December 2010. ■
KEM will carry out works on construction of sewage system in Kędzierzyn-Koźle for over 70 million PLN. The consortium whose leader is Dąbrowa Górnicza based company KEM, has signed a sub-contracting agreement with Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Ogólnego
i Instalacyjnego “Chmielewski” concerning the realization of works on the construction of a rainwater sewage system in the Kędzierzyn-Koźle City Commune. The value of the contract, which is to be carried out by the end of this November, amounts to nearly 70.7 million PLN gross. ■
GDDKiA seeks contractor for Miękowo ring road. Szczecin Division of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways has issued a limited tender for the construction of a ring road for Miękowo. The plans comprise the construction of an over 4 km section of dual carriageway in the course of National Road No. 3 with one junction, overpass and three culverts. Skanska will modernize Strzegomska Street in Wrocław for 44 million PLN. Skanska has won a tender for the modernization of Strzegomska Street in Wrocław, between Gądowianka Estacade and Graniczna Street. Completion of the contract, worth 44 million PLN, is to take 15 months. ■

Cortizo will build aluminum construction elements factory in Radomsko on 3.6 hectares for 23 mln PLN. The Spanish Cortizo Company has purchased a property with an area of approx. 3.6 hectares located in the Radomsko Sub-Zone of the Łódź Special Economic Zone. The enterprise will consist of the construction for over 23.7 mln PLN of a plant producing aluminum elements, for example for window carpentry and facade elements. After the first stage is completed, the plant will employ 25 people. ■

Art Norblin will sell 2 hectares in downtown Warsaw for office-shopping-residential complex. Art Norblin, which belongs to Capital Park from Patron Capital Partners Group, has decided to offer for sale a lot with an area of approx. 2 hectares along with outlets of the former Norblin plant, located at the junction of Prosta and Żelazna streets. As we informed, JEMS Architekci has prepared
a development concept for the property, partly on the basis of existing outlets which will be adapted for office, residential and shopping purposes. According to our information, the current investor has already made some of the required arrangement with the heritage conservator. ■
GTC will build “Galeria Harfa” with net area of over 60,000 sqm in Prague. In June Globe Trade Centre commenced the construction of the “Galeria Harfa” office-retail-entertainment center in Prague (Czech Republic). The outlet, with a net area of over 60,000 sqm (41,000 sqm of retail-entertainment space and 20,000 of office space) will be put to use in the fourth quarter of 2010. ■
