HM Projekt preparing shopping gallery with area
of 20,000 sqm in Lębork.
Roman Formela, a Lębork based entrepreneur, has begun administrative proceedings regarding plans for the development of a land plot situated between Żeromskiego St. and National Road No. 6
in Lębork (Pomorskie Voivodship). The architectural concept of the investment has been prepared by Tri-City Area based office HM Projekt. It anticipates
the construction of a shopping-service complex
with an area of approx. 20,000 sqm. Currently,
the investment's influence on environment is being evaluated. ■

Erbud negotiating contract for construction
of shopping center with area of 21,000 sqm in Szczecin.
According to PREM's unofficial sources, Erbud
is finalizing negotiations concerning a contract for general contracting of the Turzyn shopping center at the junction
of Bohaterów Warszawy Av. and 26 Kwietnia Street
in Szczecin. The two-story building with a total area
of 21,000 sqm and cubature of over 125,000 meters3
will include a grocery store of the “Piotr I Paweł” chain and a gallery with several dozen smaller shopping-service premises. The developer of the investment, the company Turzyn, announced that the center will be put into use
at the end of next year. ■

PGOM, on behalf of Maryland will soon issue tender for extension of “Wzgórze” shopping center in Gdynia. Maryland Real Estate, who has recently become the new investor of the “Wzgórze” shopping center in the area
of Droga Gdyńska and Kazimierza Górskiego streets
in Gdynia, is planning to soon begin the procedure
of choosing a contractor for the shell structure part
of the extension of the complex. The tender will be conducted by the project manager, PGOM.

Let us recall that earlier Apsys had ordered the works
to Mostostal Warszawa, but the contract, worth approx. 235 million PLN net, was canceled. According
to the design, prepared by the French office Valode&Pistre in cooperation with Gdańsk based Alter Polis, in the course of the investment the usable area of the center will increase by 44,400 sqm. ■

IKEA finalizes purchase of 60 hectares of land for construction of shopping-entertainment center in Świlcza near Rzeszów. Last week, IKEA signed a notary act of purchasing approx. 27 hectares of land in the Świlcza commune near Rzeszów. Due to this transaction, the investor has got over
60 hectares of land, where they are planning to build
a complex with the Swedish chain's hypermarket and
a grocery hypermarket (probably Auchan), and -
in the next stage - a sports-entertainment center including an aqua park. ■

Černý Studio 21 is planning construction of shopping gallery with total area of 5,000 sqm in Stalowa Wola. Works on the construction of a shopping gallery are
to begin in the next few months on Okulickiego St.
in Stalowa Wola (Podkarpackie Voivodship).
The developer of the building with a total area
of 5,000 sqm is Černý Studio 21, a company whose shareholders are Zdenek Černý and Joanna Koczwara.
The building, designed by the Awart office, is to be put into use at the turn of 2010 and 2011. Preliminary talks regarding commercialization of the investment are currently in progress. ■

Rex-Bud will build shopping center with area of 50,000 sqm in Warsaw according to concept by Wilkocki Projekt. Kupiec Warszawski Company has signed a letter of intent with Rex-Bud concerning the general contracting
of Centrum Hal Targowych retail complex on Marywilska St. in Warsaw. The architectural concept of the investment has been prepared by the Wilkocki Projekt office. Let us recall that the investment will comprise the development
of a land plot with an area of 20 hectares. The area
of the market halls will amount to approx. 50,000 sqm; approx. 6,500 sqm of halls are to be built in the 1st stage
of the investment. ■

Fazbud acquires contract for general contracting
of Castorama hypermarket in Gniezno.
Works
on the construction of the Castorama hypermarket have recently begun on Pałucka St. in Gniezno (Wielkopolskie Voivodship). The general contractor of the building
with an area of 5,000 sqm and cubature of over
40,000 meters3 is Bełchatów based Fazbud. The developer of the investment, designed by Darling Associates,
is Pradera Management Poland. ■

Elpro purchases land plot for construction of shopping center in Nałęczów. Edward Oscuh, president of PKS Puławy, has announced that the company has sold a land plot on Poniatowska St. in Nałęczów (Lubelskie Voivodship) to Elpro. The plot, which is currently taken up by a bus station, had been sold for 1.6 million PLN.
The land plot will probably be appropriated
for the construction of a Stokrotka supermarket
with a gallery with smaller shopping-service premises. ■

PSM “Winogrady” seeks contractor for modernization of pavilion with area of 4,000 sqm. Until 28th July, Spółdzielnia Mieszkaniowa “Winogrady” housing cooperative will be collecting offers with a deposit
of 100,000 PLN concerning the modernization
of the “Newa” shopping-service pavilion at the Wichrowe Wzgórze residential complex in Poznań. Design documentation of the building with an area of 4,000 sqm has been prepared by Poznań based architectural office Gandalf. The works are to be carried out by the end of next year. ■

In August, Krokus will choose contractor of Intermarche supermarket with area of 1,200 sqm in Wąbrzeźno.
Krokus has issued a tender for general contracting
of the Intermarche shopping pavilion on 1 Maja Street
in Wąbrzeźno (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship).
The contract will concern the conducting of demolition works and development of a land plot with an area
of approx. 1.5 hectares, including the construction
of a building with an area of building development amounting to over 1,200 sqm. Offers will be collected until 7th August, and the contractor is to be chosen and works are to begin as early as this August. Completion
of the investment, designed by Tri-City area based office Artplan, will take 18 weeks. ■

PRODUCTION AND WAREHOUSE OUTLETS

Rossmann will build logistics complex with area of over 30,000 sqm near Grudziądz. The concern Rossmann
has purchased a land plot in the vicinity of Grudziądz (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship), appropriated
for the construction of a warehouse center. The planned area of the complex, which will be carried out in several stages, will amount to approx. 30,000 sqm. Administrative proceedings regarding the investment are currently
in progress. A preliminary date of commencing
the construction works has been set for two years
from now. The complex is to employ approx. 150 people. ■

CTC Clatronic began construction of office-warehouse complex with area of approx. 10,000 sqm near Opole. CTC Clatronic, distributor of white goods and consumer electronics, has begun the development of a land plot
with area of over 4 hectares situated in Karczowa near Dąbrowa Niemodlińska (Opolskie Voivodship).
The investment will comprise the construction of an office-warehouse complex with area of approx. 9,900 sqm.
The construction works are to begin in the middle of 2010. ■

Logistics Service obtains permission for construction
of logistics center in Słubica for 67.7 million PLN.

On 17th July, Logistics Service won a tender issued
by Łódź Special Economic Zone (ŁSSE) concerning
the obtaining of a permit for operations in the Słubica subzone near Żabia Wola (Łódzkie Voivodship).
Let us recall that in PREM 407 we informed
of the investor's efforts to include 6.4 hectares of land into ŁSSE. The company has declared it would appropriate approx. 67.7 million PLN for the construction
of a logistics-warehouse complex, employing 250 people. The investment is scheduled for the years 2009-2011,
and its final area is to amount to 40,000 sqm. ■

Skotan will appropriate 30-45 million PLN
for construction of processing plant.
In their strategy
for the years 2009-2012, Skotan adopted a plan
for the construction of a forage yeast processing plant.
The investment, the cost of which is estimated
at 30-45 million PLN, will be carried out in two stages.
The first stage, the value of which will amount
to 15 million PLN, is to comprise the construction
of production systems and a research laboratory. ■

WPIP is preparing construction of Elastogran factory in Śrem. Aleksandra Kustosz from Wielkopolskie Przedsiębiorstwo Inżynierii Przemysłowej (WPIP)
is representing the company Elastogran in administrative proceedings regarding the planned construction of a factory in Śrem (Wielkopolskie Voivodship). Let us recall
that the company, subordinate to the BASF concern,
is planning to build, at a cost of 17 million PLN, a complex which will produce polyurethanes used in the production
of plastics. The company has already purchased 2.2 hectares of land in the Śrem subzone of WSSE Invest-Park. According to declarations, the factory is to employ
40 people.

WPIP has cooperated with BASF on the construction
of a factory with an area of 4,200 sqm in Śrem. ■

ABM Solid will build production-warehouse hall
in Myślenice for over 8.5 million PLN.
On 21st July,
the management of ABM Solid announced
that the company has acquired a contract for general contracting of a production-warehouse hall in Myślenice (Śląskie Voivodship). The hall will be built
for the purposes of Plast Dach, a company specializing
in the production of gutter systems. As we informed
in PREM 476, the factory, which will be built
within the Katowice Special Economic Zone (KSSE),
will employ approx. 100 people. The hall is to be put into use in the 1st quarter of next year. ■

Resbud makes lowest offer for construction
of warehouse hall with area of 4,500 sqm in Leżajsk.
Seven offers have been submitted in a tender issued
by Park Przemysłowy Stare Miasto concerning the design and construction of a warehouse hall in Leżajsk (Podkarpackie Voivodship). The lowest offer,
with the price of over 4.8 million PLN gross, has been made by Rzeszów based Resbud. Other participants
of the tender included Resbex, Hartbex, Grant, Stalbud
and Depenbrock.

The investment will comprise the construction of a hall with an area of 4,500 sqm. The investment is to be finalized by the end of March of the next year. ■

OPAX seeks contractor for production hall with area
of 3,300 sqm.
Offers for the contracting of a production hall with office and social premises for the purposes
of the Opax, a company specializing in the production
of packaging materials, will be collected until 2nd August. The hall with an area of 3,300 sqm and cubature
of 22,500 meters3, will be erected on the basis of a design by Andrzej Spisak's Wadowice based office. Works
on the contract are to be finalized by 21st November
of this year. ■

Clima Komfort will build hall with area of 2,000 sqm
in Grudziądz.
Clima Komfort is preparing
the construction of a production hall on Droga Mazowiecka St. in Grudziądz (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship).
The company is planning to build a hall with warehouse premises having an area of approx. 2,000 sqm, which will be used for the production and assembly of controllers
for heat pumps in hot tap water pre-heaters. Currently,
the investor is applying for environmental consents
at the Grudziądz municipality. ■

Cetus will build production hall in Warta Bolesławiecka. The company Cetus is getting ready
for the construction of a production hall in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki in the Warta Bolesławiecka commune (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). The investment will comprise the construction of a building with an area of 600 sqm, along with equipping the hall with technology lines
for the comminuting of rubber.■

Stalbau will build Flint Group production plant
in Konstantynów Łódzki.
Stalbau has begun preparations for the construction of the Flint Group production complex in Konstantynów Łódzki (Łódzkie Voivodship).
The investment will comprise the construction of a hall with an area of approx. 2,000 sqm and a breezeway
(300 sqm). The hall will be designed and supplied by Atlas Ward. ■

OFFICE BUILDINGS

Vastint purchases nearly 7 hectares of land in Poznań for construction of office complex with area of 100,000 sqm.
In July, Wiśniowy Office Park Company from Vastint group, which includes companies such as Swedeprop and IKEA, signed a notary act to purchase nearly 7 hectares
of land on Bułgarska St. in Poznań, in the vicinity of the Ławica airport and the city stadium. Currently, the holding's architects are developing a town-planning concept for the land plot development, so details of the planned investment are not known at this point, but it is already known that it will comprise the construction
of a business park with an area of approx. 100,000 sqm. ■

Hochtief acquires contract for construction of Juwentus office building with area of 6,500 sqm in Warsaw.
Last week, Hochtief began, as general contractor, works
on the construction of Grupa Juwentus's warehouse-office building on Poloneza St. in Warsaw. The tender procedure was conducted by Portico Project Management.
The building with 4 stories, one of which will be underground, is going to have a total area
of over 6,500 sqm and cubature of approx. 15,400 meters3. Aside from offices and warehouses it will also have an employees' canteen and a complex of conference rooms. ■

Warbud-Hochtief consortium wants to extend airport in Lublinek for 106 million PLN. Project Management Intertecno, on behalf of Port Lotniczy Łódź company (Łódź Airport), has announced that an offer with the price of 106 million PLN gross, made by the consortium
of Warbud and Hochtief, has been evaluated as the best
in a tender for general contracting of a terminal which is to be built at the airport in Lublinek. PORR, which demanded 104.2 million PLN, has been excluded from the tender due to formal errors. Other participants of the tender are
the consortia of Karmar-Bouygues Baziment International (109 million PLN) and Astaldis-ABM Solid
(154.5 million PLN). The investment will be based
on a design prepared by Siemianowice Śląskie based office Styl. ■

Prochem will manage construction of New Technologies Center with area of 50,000 sqm in Warsaw. Warsaw University has chosen the offer by Prochem in a tender regarding a substitute contractor on the realization
of the 1st stage of the “Ochota” New Technologies Center in the area of Banacha and Pasteura streets. Completion
of the investment, designed by APA Kuryłowicz
& Associates, will take 50 months. The investment anticipates the construction of two buildings: one
with seven stories, a total area of 22,600 sqm and cubature of 98,600 meters3, and another with 6 stories
(27,700 sqm and 69,400 meters3).

Other participants of the tender were Tebodin SAP Projekt, EC Harris, Bovis Lend Lease, OVE Arup
& Partners, GD&K Consulting, ECM Group Polska, PM Group Polska and Paweł W. Oraliński Arch Magic. ■

PBPA Projekt wins contest for concept of office-conference complex with area of 25,000 sqm in Lublin. Polsko-Belgijska Pracownia Architektury “Projekt” has won a contest for documentation of the new seat
of the Marshal's Office in Lublin and a conference center. The first of the buildings which will be erected
on Grottgera Street will have, together with underground garages, an area of 16,500 sqm, and the second will cover 8,500 sqm. The cost of the whole investment is estimated at 150 million PLN.

The winner will be awarded 45,000 PLN and a contract for the development of a construction design,
for which they will have one year. The next two places were awarded to offices AMC Andrzej Chołdzyński (which, as we had informed earlier, has already prepared
a concept for a Marshal's Office) and Studio S Biuro Architektoniczne Michał Szymanowski. ■

Warbud will erect KUL teaching building in Lublin
for 25.1 million PLN.
Warbud has made the lowest offer, with the price of 25.1 million PLN gross, in a two-stage tender for general contracting of a research and teaching building for the purposes of the Biotechnology Faculty
of the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL)
on Konstantynow Street. Works on the building
with an area of 4,600 sqm and cubature of 28,000 meters3, designed by the Bieńkowski, Lis, Mierzwa. Architekci,
will last until the middle of June 2012. ■

Warbud, Karmar, Skanska among parties interested
in building Institute of Computer Science in Warsaw.
Twenty two bidders have applied for admission to tender for general contracting of the Institute of Computer Science (IPI) of the Polish Academy of Science (PAN) in Warsaw. The participants of the tender are Strabag, Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex, Skanska, Warbud, Budimex Dromex, PORR, Karmar-Bouygues, Mostostal Warszawa, Unibep-Allcon, Polimex-Mostostal, Vectra-Pribo, ABM Solid-Resbud, Budizol, Mirbud, Przemysłówka Częstochowa, Sando Budownictwo, Interbud-West-Konsbud, Zab-Bud, Stalbud Tarnów, Winnicki, Dorbud and Ebud-Przemysłówka.

A building with an area of nearly 5,000 sqm and cubature of 15,600 meters3 will be erected in the area
of Jana Kazimierza and Ordona streets in Warsaw on the basis of documentation prepared by Biuro Projektów Budownictwa Ogólnego. No more than 8 companies
will be admitted to submit contracting offers with a deposit of 400,000 PLN. Works on the investment will last until the end of November 2011. ■

PAS Projekt Archi Studio will design, for over 1.3 million PLN, modernization of train station in Gdynia. Polskie Koleje Państwowe (Polish Rail) has chosen the offer
(with the price of nearly 1.3 million PLN gross) by PAS Projekt Archi Studio from Nadarzyn in a tender
for the development of a design, along with author's supervision, for the modernization of the Gdynia-Główna train station. Modernization of the complex comprised
of the main building with an area of 7,700 sqm, external corridor and suburban train platforms, is to be finalized by the end of March 2012.

Other participants of the tender were Scott Willson-Budomeks (1.47 million PLN), BPAiB AiB
(1.82 million PLN), Sudop Praha (2.13 million PLN),
WS Atkins-Warsztaty Architektury Kozłowski

MPL Warszawa-Modlin seeks substitute investor for construction of passenger terminal with area of 12,800 sqm. Mazowiecki Port Lotniczy (MPL) Warszawa-Modlin (Warsaw-Modlin Mazowsze Airport) has issued a tender with a deposit of 30,000 PLN concerning the role
of substitute investor on the construction of airport
in Modlin. The investment will comprise the construction of a passenger terminal with an area of 12,800 sqm and modernization of the existing buildings of accompanying facilities and infrastructure. The cost of the investment, designed by APA Kuryłowicz & Associates office, is estimated at 305 million PLN; out of which 25% will come from EU funds.

Applications concerning admission to tender will be collected until 17th August. Completion of the investment, which is currently at the stage of issuing a construction permit, will take 5 years. ■

Best Construction and Karpat Bud will erect WSIZ teaching building in Kielnarowa for 15.3 million PLN. The consortium of companies Best Construction
and Karpat Bud has won a tender for general contracting
of the International Education Center in Kielnarowa (Podkarpackie Voivodship). The value of the contract, ordered by the Higher School of Management and Computer Science (WSIZ) in Rzeszów, will amount
to 15.3 million PLN gross. The contract comprises
the construction of a 4-story teaching building
with a usable area of 5,400 sqm and cubature
21,400 meters3 at the school campus. The consortium
of companies Usługi Budowlane-Projektowanie, Nadzory, Wykonawstwo - Wojciech Staszkiewicz, Mach Lidia, Proinst and Elmix will act as supervising inspector. Works on the investment are to be finalized by 30th September 2011. ■

Porty Lotnicze seeks contractor for extension
of passenger terminal at Warsaw-Okęcie.

Until 6th August, Przedsiębiorstwo Państwowe “Porty Lotnicze” will be collecting applications concerning admission to tender regarding the completion
of an extension of Terminal-2 at F. Chopin Airport
in Warsaw-Okęcie. No more than 8 contractors will be invited to submit offers with a deposit of 2 million PLN.

The works will include finishing the construction
of the southern jetty at Terminal 2 and construction
of a central jetty along with technical infrastructure.
The total area of both structures amounts to approx.
15,700 sqm. The works are to be finalized within a period of 12 months. ■

Karmar offers to build teaching center in Środa Wlkp. for 15.5 million PLN. Karmar has made the lowest offer (15.5 million PLN) in a tender for the construction
of the Education Center on Topolska-Hallera St. in Środa Wielkopolska. The investment, financed by Wielkopolska Wyższa Szkoła Społeczno-Ekonomiczna (Wielkopolska Higher School of Economics and Social Science),
will comprise the construction of six 1- and 2-story buildings with a total area of 4,300 sqm and cubature
of 21,000 meters3. The works, based on a design
by Magdalena Mackiewicz-Adamczewska and Marcin Wnęk, are to be finalized by 1st August 2010. ■

Pracownia Buszkiewicz will design laboratory-office complex with area of 4,300 sqm in Poznań. Pracownia Autorska H.J. Buszkiewicz office has won a contest, issued by the Adam Mickiewicz University Foundation in Poznań, regarding the development of an architectural concept
of the “Complex of High Technologies Incubators - Materials and Biomaterials”. APA Kuryłowicz
& Associates has been awarded 2nd place in the contest.

Let us recall that the investment, located
in the Naramowice district on Rubież Street, will comprise the construction of laboratory-office buildings
with a usable area of 4,300 sqm. 28 million PLN have been appropriated for the realization of the investment. ■

PW and SZRM will prepare realization of two projects in Warsaw. Four offers have been submitted in a tender issued by the Warsaw City Development Management (SZRM) concerning the modernization of the former Branickich Palace on Nowy Świat St. in Warsaw. The best offer, with the price of over 5.2 million PLN gross,
has been made by Budimpol. Other participants
of the tender are Agat (5.76 million PLN), AMP
(5.76 million PLN) and Winnicki (6.38 million PLN).
The design for the adaptation of the building
with a cubature of 10,700 meters3 for the purposes
of the Office of Warsaw Conservator of Historical Buildings has been prepared at Halina Kostrzewa's Brwinów based office.

A tender for the development of a design and modernization of Warsaw Technical University's (PW) building on Bytnara St. in Warsaw has also been issued
in the past few days. The three-story building with an area of 1,600 sqm, appropriated for the purposes
of the University Research Center, is to be ready
in September 2010. ■

Extension of teaching center by over 4,000 sqm
is planned in Słupsk.
Until 5th August, District Infrastructure Management (RZI) will be collecting offers with a deposit of 160,000 PLN concerning the extension
of the Practical Education Center (CKP) on Koszalińska St. in Słupsk (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship). The contract will comprise the construction of a building with an area
of 4,100 sqm and cubature of 18,300 meters3 on the basis of documentation prepared by Zdzisław Wawrzczak's Biuro Usług Projektowych office. The works are to be finalized by the middle of August of next year. ■

WORD seeks contractor for office building with area
of 1,700 sqm in Grudziądz.
Voivodship Traffic Center (WORD) in Toruń has issued a tender for the construction of an office building on Frycza-Modrzewskiego St.
in Grudziądz (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship).
The investment, designed by Poznań based office Armageddon, will comprise the construction of a building with an area of 1,700 sqm. Offers with a deposit
of 150,000 PLN are to be submitted by 6th August. Completion of the contract will take 10 months. ■

HOUSING INVESTMENTS

Giant is preparing residential complex with 76 buildings with total area of approx. 100,000 sqm in Wrocław. Roman Sowiński from Poznań based company Giant has applied to Wrocław municipality for administrative consents regarding the spatial development plans for a land plot situated in Wojnów district. According to the concept prepared by Lesław Rubik from the R2 architectural office, the investment will comprise the construction
of 76 residential buildings with an area of building development amounting to 31,000 sqm (total area
of approx. 100,000 sqm). Twenty six of the buildings
will be four stories tall and 50 will be three stories tall. ■

Kalter is contractor of 1st stage of Agro-Man complex with approx. 600 flats in Parzniew near Warsaw.
A few days ago, Białystok based company Kalter began,
as general contractor, works on the realization
of the 1st stage of a residential complex in Parzniew near Brwinów (Mazowieckie Voivodship) on Działkowa Street. The whole complex is going to have approx. 600 flats,
and the section included in the contract with the developer, the company Agro-Man from the T.O.N. Agro group,
is going to have approx. 100 flats. The works, which will be carried out according to a design by the Pro-Arte office, will take about a year and a half.

Agro-Man has also issued a tender for the construction of the “Małe Brzeziny” building with 18 flats
on Jesiennych Liści Street in Warsaw. Offers will be collected until 13th August. ■

More Eden Tower is planning construction of three
45-story skyscrapers in Gdańsk.
Next year, More Eden Tower, a consortium with Israeli capital, is planning
to begin works on the realization of the 1st stage
of an apartment-office-hotel complex. The investment, which will be comprised of three 45-story skyscrapers,
will be carried out on Letnicka Street, in the vicinity
of the “Baltic Arena” football stadium, which is currently under construction. ■

ZB Boś will build residential complex with 121 flats
for SM Suchanino in Gdańsk.
Zakład Budowlany Waldemar Boś has become the general contractor
of the residential complex of the Spółdzielnia Mieszkaniowa Suchanino housing cooperative
(SM Suchanino), at the junction of Paderewskiego
and Czajkowskiej streets in Gdańsk. The design
of the investment has been prepared by Andrzej Tyszkiewicz from the Abacus office. It anticipates
the construction of four six-story buildings with 121 flats with a total area of flats amounting to approx. 7,300 sqm. The first land development works and earthworks have already begun. Works on particular stages
of the investment are to be finalized in the 1st-3rd quarter
of 2011. ■

Sobociński Architekci designing apartment building with 72 flats in Toruń for Maschio. Czesław and Piotr Sobocińscy's office Sobociński Architekci is working
on a design of the “Imperium Rzymskie” apartment building, which the Italian company Maschio is planning
to build in the center of Toruń, in the area of PCK
and Grudziądzka streets. Documentation of the building with 72 flats and an underground garage for 74 cars
is to be ready at the end of September, and the construction is to begin in the 4th quarter of this year. ■

Unibep makes lowest offer in tender for construction
of complex with 71 flats in Warsaw.
Nine offers have been submitted in a tender issued by the authorities
of the Praga-Północ district of Warsaw concerning
the contracting of two 5-story multi-family buildings
on Białostocka Street. The lowest offer has been made
by Bielsko-Biała based Unibep, with the price of approx. 14 million PLN gross. Other participants of the tender are Budbaum, Karmar, Vectra-Pol_aqua, PBM Południe, Kornas, Dorbud, Budimex-Dromex and Mostostal Warszawa.

Documentation of buildings with a total area
of 7,700 sqm and cubature of 16,500 meters3 and 71 flats, has been prepared by Krakow based office Kontrapunkt V-Projekt. The investment is to be finalized in June 2011. ■

Betpol and Selfa will build multi-family complexes
in Wałcz and Białogard for 11.8 million PLN.
Betpol has made the lowest offer (7.3 million PLN gross) for general contracting of a residential building on Zdobywców Pokoju Av. in Wałcz (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship).
Other participants of the tender are Pil-Building from Piła and Zakład Budowlany Zbigniewa Olejnika.
The investment, conducted by Towarzystwo Budownictwa Społecznego (TBS - Social Building Association),
will comprise the construction of a building with 56 flats,
a total area of 4,700 sqm (2,700 sqm of usable area) and cubature of 16,100 meters3, until 20th November of next year. The design of the investment has been prepared by Piła based Spółdzielnia Obsługi Inwestycyjnej Dompil.

Meanwhile, TBS in Białogard (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship) has ordered a contract worth 5.5 million PLN gross to the company Selfa concerning general contracting of two buildings on Piłsudskiego St. The complex
with a usable area of 2,000 sqm and cubature
of 9,000 meters3, the completiontion of which will take
14 months, is going to have 35 flats and 4 service premises. ■

Insbud and Maks Bud will carry out housing investments
in Łowicz and Pruszków for 8.2 million PLN.
Insbud has made the lowest offer, with the price of 4.2 million PLN gross, in a tender for the construction of a 4-story residential building on Gen. Franciszka Wława St.
in Łowicz (Łódzkie Voivodship). A building with 52 flats and a usable area of 2,000 sqm will be erected at the order of the city authorities. The investment, designed by Skierniewice based Zakład Usług Budowlanych Marex,
is to be finalized by 25th August of next year.

Meanwile, TBS “Zieleń Miejska” has ordered a contract worth 4 million PLN gross to Maks Bud concerning
the construction of two residential buildings with an area
of 2,500 sqm and cubature of 8,000 meters3
on Komorowska St. in Pruszków near Warsaw. Realization of the investment, the design of which has been prepared by Radom based office “Inwest-Dom”, is to take
16 months. ■

Mark-Bud will build residential complex
in Aleksandrów Łódzki for over 8.1 million PLN.

The authorities of Aleksandrów Łódzki have chosen
the offer (8.1 million PLN gross) by Sieradz based company Mark-Bud in a tender for the construction
of a building with 80 flats on Konstantynowska Street.
The investment, designed by Michał Pisarski's Studio M, will comprise the construction of a 4-story building
with a usable area of 4,700 sqm. Works on the contract are to be finalized by the end of next year.

Other participants of the tender were PORR, Fach-Bud, PBO Łódź, P.H.B. Zambud II, Remo-Bud Łódź and Ezbud Interster. PBO wanted to carry out the investment for over 8.3 million PLN gross; the remaining offers have been rejected. ■

WAM chose contractors for residential buildings
in Gołdap and Inowrocław.
Ełk based company Pribo has made the best offer (5 million PLN net) in a tender, issued by Olsztyn division of the Military Housing Agency (WAM), concerning general contracting of a residential building in Gołdap (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship)
on Żeromskiego St. The complex, designed by the Akon office, is going to have 32 flats.

Meanwhile, Bydgoszcz division of WAM, which had issued a tender for the construction of a multi-family building with 27 flats on Św. Ducha St. in Inowrocław (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship) has chosen the offer by the consortium of companies Eventus, Zakład Instalacji Budowlanych Marian Kaliński, Megaom-Bis and Prebud (4.56 million PLN). Completion of both contracts will take 15 months. ■

HOTELS AND ENTERTAINMENT CENTERS

Rezidor Hotel Group will open 4-star hotel Park Inn with 206 rooms in Wrocław. Last week it was announced that Rezidor Hotel Group is going to be the operator
of a hotel planned on Zwycięstwa St. in Wrocław.
The building with 206 rooms is to operate under the brand name Park Inn. The developer of the investment,
which is to be put into use in 2012, is going to be Przedsiębiorstwo Ogólnobudowlane Nelle. The hotel will be based on the design prepared by the Bzdęga Wiśniewski office. ■

Stara Farbiarnia is preparing construction of four-star hotel for 40 million PLN in Bydgoszcz. Stara Farbiarnia has applied for a subsidy from the European Union
for the modernization of the former Pralchem building
on Młyńska Island in Bydgoszcz. The estimated cost
of the investment will amount to approx. 40 million PLN, out of which 15 million PLN will come from EU funds. According to preliminary assumptions, the building on Św. Trójcy St. will be turned into a four-star hotel. ■

Mitex, IPB, Polimex Castellum and Warbud admitted to tender for adaptation of castle in Lidzbark Warmiński. Nine offers have been submitted in a limited tender issued by Centrum Konferencyjno-Wypoczynkowe “Zamek” concerning the adaptation of a castle in Lidzbark Warmiński (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship)
for the purposes of a four-star hotel. It was decided
that the conditions regarding participation in the tender were met by offers made by Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex, IPB Iława, Polimex Mostostal - PB Witka - Konserwacja Dzieł Sztuki Mirosław Cholewka, PB-K Castellum and Warbud. Applications which did not meet the tender requirements have been made by Karmar - Stabilator, Mostostal Warszawa - Acciona Infraestructuras, BPB Holding Przemysłówka and PREiB Krzysztof Zawadzki.

A functional concept for the modernization of the main building with an area of 7,700 sqm and cubature
of 44,000 meters3 has been prepared at the Dżus GK Architekci office in Olsztyn. The works, worth approx.
30 million PLN, are to be finalized within a period
of 16 months. ■

K&B Development will build hotel with 99 beds near Trzebownisko. K&K Development is conducting administrative proceedings concerning plans
for the construction of a hotel in Nowa Wieś near Trzebownisko (Podkarpackie Voivodship). The investment will comprise the construction of a building with beds
for 99 guests and parking lot for 55 vehicles. ■

Perbo-Projekt will design aqua park in Krakow
for 1.2 million PLN.
Jagielloński University has chosen
an offer with the value of approx. 1.2 million PLN,
made by the consortium of Perbo-Projekt and DiG Sowińscy, in a tender for the design of a complex of roofed swimming pools on Gronostajowa St. in Krakow.
Other participants of the tender were Estudio Lamela, Studio Architektoniczne Kraków, ARP Kraków and Ekspo. The investment will comprise the construction, for approx. 80 million PLN, of a complex of roofed swimming pools with seats for approx. 1,500 spectators. ■

Kwidzyn authorities seek contractor for sports complex worth 45 million PLN. 26th August is the deadline
for submitting offers with a deposit of 1 million PLN concerning the construction of a sports complex
on Wiejska St. in Kwidzyn (Pomorskie Voivodship).
The plans anticipate the construction of a sports-performance hall with an area of 2,800 sqm and roofed swimming pool (1,200 sqm) as well as transportation infrastructure (9,700 sqm) and green areas (8,200 sqm). The investment, based on a design by Warsaw based architectural office CAD, is to be finalized in the 4th quarter of 2011. ■

EB Mitex makes offers worth over 23 million PLN
for construction of swimming pools in Lubin.
Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex has made the lowest offers in two tenders issued by the authorities of Lubin (Dolnośląskie Voivodship) concerning the construction of roofed swimming pools. An offer in the first tender, concerning
a swimming pool at Primary School No. 8 at the Polne residential complex, had the value of approx.
11.4 million PLN gross, and in the second tender, concerning the contracting of a pool at Primary School No.10 at the Przylesie residential complex amounted
to 11.9 million PLN gross. We have found out that both offers exceed the budget for the investments adopted
by the city authorities.

Other participants of the tenders include Skanska, Wrobis and local contractors. The highest bids amount
to approx. 16 million PLN. ■

WS Atkins, Perbo, Projprzem, AB and Bremer invited to submit offers for designing modernization of Tychy stadium. Five bidders have been invited to submit offers in a tender issued by the authorities of Tychy (Śląskie Voivodship) concerning the development of design
for the modernization of football stadium. The consortium with WS Atkins as leader, as well as Perbo-Projekt, Projprzem, AB-Projekt and Bremer have been qualified
to the next stage of the tender. The cost of developing documentation is estimated at over 4 million PLN.

to tender have also been submitted by BeMM Architekci, Kipp Projekt, Bauren, Arcad, ATJ Architekci, Modern Construction Systems, Studio Architektoniczne Obtułowicz, Kontrapunkt-V, GMT, Metropolis and Studio Stożek & Partnerzy. ■

Gerczak is preparing construction of hotel with 200 beds near Iława. Ośrodek Wczasowy Jażdżówki Gerczak Danuta has obtained a subsidy from EU funds for the next stage
of construction of the Mazury Center for Active Recreation complex (Mazurskie Centrum Aktywnego Wypoczynku)
in Jażdżówki near Iława (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship). The cost of erecting the hotel building
with beds for approx. 200 guests will amount to approx.
6 million PLN. The complex, designed by the Katowice office Franta & Franta, already has a three-star hotel
with 100 beds and a banquet house.■

MOSiR in Toruń seeks architect for sports-performance hall for 5,000 spectators. 10th August
is the deadline for submitting offers concerning
the development of a design for a sports-performance hall with hotel premises and underground parking lot
for the purposes of the City Sports and Recreation Center (MOSiR) in Toruń (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship).
A functional concept of the buildings with a total area
of 44,000 sqm and cubature of 336,000 meters3, planned
on Bema St., has been prepared by Toruński Klub Technika NOT in cooperation with Toruń division
of SARP. Completion of the contract is to take 12 months. ■

Abakus Wood Pol will extend Warmia Park complex near Stawiguda for 20 million PLN. Olsztyn based company Abakus Wood Pol has obtained a subsidy
for the extension of Warmia Park recreation complex
in Pluski near Stawiguda (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship). The investor is planning to appropriate approx. 20 million PLN for the investment,
out of which 8.5 million PLN will come from EU funds. The works will comprise the construction of a training center and conference center with sports facilities.
The company has already submitted administrative applications for the planned investment to the Commune Office. The investor's representatives did not reveal
who was author of the architectural concept. ■

Tamex will build sports complex in Sulejówek
for 24.7 million PLN.
The authorities of Sulejówek near Warsaw will sign a contract with Tamex concerning
the construction of a complex of sports grounds in the area of Park Glinianki, which will constitute a part of the EURO 2012 Lodging Center. The contract worth
24.7 million PLN, which will be paid off by 2020,
will comprise the construction of a football pitch sized
68 x 105 m and training pitch sized 60 x 90 m according
to the design by Studio Puch.

The second part of the complex, the design of which is being prepared by Janusz Gradomski's Łódź based office, is comprised of a complex of tennis courts and a multi-functional sports hall with a total area of 5,300 sqm (usable area 4,300 sqm) and cubature of 29,200 meters3. A tender for the construction of the hall, the cost of which will amount to 15-17 million PLN, will be issued next year. ■

PBO wants to modernize students' hotel in Zielona Góra for over 11.4 million PLN. Seven offers have been made in a tender issued by Zielona Góra University concerning the modernization of the “Wcześniak” students' hotel. The lowest offer, with the price of over
11.4 million PLN gross, has been presented by Zielona Góra based company PBO. Other participants of the tender are Skanska (14.06 million PLN), Gobud-Kot
(12.5 million PLN), Hydrobiel Żary (17.9 million PLN), Sanbud (15.8 million PLN), Malbud (15.5 million PLN) and LPBP Nowa Sól (14.7 million PLN). A design
for modernization of the building with an area of approx. 10,000 sqm has been prepared by the company Archit.

“Atol” Students' House of the University of Economy on Andrzejewskiego St. in Poznań, with an area
of 4,400 sqm, is to undergo modernization as well.
The general contractor of the investment, designed by
the Castor office, is the company FRB Piotr Szymański, having signed the contract worth over 2.4 million PLN gross. ■

Chemobudowa will erect hospital building with area of 2,300 sqm in Dąbrowa Tarnowska for 10.3 million PLN. Health Care Center (ZOZ) in Dąbrowa Tarnowska (Małopolsie Voivodship) is going to order a contract worth 10.3 million PLN gross to Chemobudowa-Kraków concerning the construction of a Surgery Ward along
with sterilization room on Szpitalna Street. The investment, the design of which has been prepared by the OTS-IP office, will comprise the construction of a 2-story building with a usable area of 2,300 sqm and cubature
of 9,700 meters3. The investment is to be finalized
by 31st October of next year. ■

Prorest will extend Siedlisko Morena hotel-recreation complex in Stare Juchy. Warsaw based company Prorest has obtained a subsidy from EU funds for the investment
in the extension of the Siedlisko Morena hotel-recreation complex in Stare Juchy near Ełk (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship). The cost of the investment will amount
to approx. 7.5 million PLN. The works will include development of the lodging base by adding 40 beds
and construction of a two-story SPA center, along
with the construction of external swimming pool.

Currently, the complex is comprised of a hotel
with 87 beds, conference hall with 120 seats
and a swimming pool with accompanying facilities. ■

Yu-Pol will extend restaurant building in Olsztyn
for over 10 million PLN.
Yu-Pol has obtained a subsidy from EU funds for an investment concerning
a development of the Nad Wodospadem restaurant, situated on Łyna River in Olsztyn (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship). The cost of the investment will amount
to approx. 10.6 million PLN, out of which
over 2.5 million PLN will come from UE. ■

Polchemia is preparing construction of hotel for over 5.6 million PLN in Skrzyszów. Polchemia has submitted administrative applications to the Ostrów commune (Podkarpackie Voivodship) authorities regarding plans
for the revitalization of a historical, 16th-century park and palace complex in Skrzyszów (Podkarpackie Voivodship). The investment will comprise the construction of a hotel-restaurant complex named Nowy Dwór Obronny
w Skrzyszowie. The cost of the investment is estimated
at over 5.6 million PLN. The investor was applying
for a subsidy for the project from European Union funds. ■

Proekobud acquires contract for extension of hotel
in Oświęcim.
The authorities of Oświęcim (Małopolskie Voivodship) have recently announced that Wrocław based company Proekobud had been ordered a contract
for the design of an extension of Hotel Olimpijski
on Chemików Street. The first stage of the works will comprise the extension of the existing building with an area of 1,100 sqm up to 1,800 sqm and construction of another building with an area of 2,000 sqm. The documentation
is to be ready by 30th September of this year.

A functional concept, prepared by Krakow based APA '91, also anticipates the construction of the third wing
of the hotel, with an area of 2,000 sqm, but it is not
a subject of the current tender. ■

Michałów authorities seek contractor for roofed swimming pool with area of 2,900 sqm. 31st July
is the deadline for submitting offers with a deposit
of 300,000 PLN concerning the construction of a roofed swimming pool at the Communal Center for Rehabilitation and Sports in Michałów (Podlaskie Voivodship). Documentation of the building with an area of 2,900 sqm and cubature of 16,400 meters3 has been prepared
by Białystok based office Profil. The works are to be finalized by 15th August 2011. ■

Construction of cultural center with area of 4,000 sqm is planned in Raciborz. Until 6th August, District Starost's Office in Raciborz (Śląskie Voivodship) will be collecting offers with a deposit of 100,000 PLN concerning
the overhaul and adaptation for cultural purposes of two buildings in the area of Piastowski Castle on Zamkowa St. Works in the buildings with a total area of 4,000 sqm
and cubature of 22,000 meters3, the documentation
of which has been prepared by Raciborz based office Inwestprojekt, are to be finalized by 30th September 2010. ■

Toruń authorities seek contractor for sports-performance hall with area of 3,400 sqm. Toruń Commune and City Office has issued a tender for general contracting of a sports hall at the IV High School
on Warszawska St. The plans anticipate the construction
of a hall with total area of 3,400 sqm (usable area
2,700 sqm) and cubature of 25,800 meters3, with seats
for 170 spectators and an underground garage. The cost
of the investment, designed by Poznań based office AC Studio, is estimated at 10.3 million PLN. Offers
with a deposit of 135,000 PLN are to be submitted
by 5th August. The investment is to be finalized
by 30th November 2010. ■

ZIAD is planning construction of conference-hotel complex with area of 5,200 sqm in Bielsko-Biała. ZIAD seeks co-investor for the construction of a conference-hotel center on Armii Krajowej St. in Bielsko-Biała. The planned investment comprises the modernization of two hotels
with 90 rooms and 200 beds and a conference center
with a total usable area of 5,200 sqm, situated on a land plot with an area of 30 hectares in the vicinity of a cable car to the Szyndzielnia mountain. ■

Myszyniec authorities seek contractor for Regional Cultural Center for approx. 10.3 million PLN.
Until 6th August, Myszyniec Commune (Mazowieckie Voivodship) will be collecting offers with a deposit
of 120,000 PLN concerning the construction
of the Regional Cultural Center. The planned investment, the cost of which is estimated at 10.3 million PLN,
will include a building which will host a museum and restaurant, with an area of 700 sqm and cubature
of 3,500 meters3, 2-story performance salon (800 sqm), shopping pavilions and amphitheater with a stage sized
35 x 12 m and seats for 646 spectators (729 sqm).
The investment, the design of which had been prepared
by Aleksander Wietrow's Ostrołęka based office Alve,
is to be finalized by 30th June of next year. ■

Jednorożec commune is planning construction
of sports-education complex for 10 million PLN.

The authorities of Jednorożec (Mazowieckie Voivodship) are planning the construction of a sports hall
and modernization of a primary school and middle school. The cost of the investment, the design of which has been prepared by Ostrołęka based office Sterbud, will amount
to approx. 10 million PLN. A tender for the role
of substitute investor will be issued soon, and a tender concerning general contracting will take place
in the 4th quarter of this year. ■

Przemysłówka Gliwice and ABM Solid will build roofed swimming pool in Kietrz for 8 million PLN.
The consortium of Gliwickie Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Przemysłowego and ABM Solid has made the lowest offer, with the price of 8 million PLN gross,
in a tender for general contracting of a roofed swimming pool in Kietrz (Opolskie Voivodship). Other participants
of the tender are: Frewaterm (8.1 million PLN), Opex
(8.3 million PLN) and PB Zur (11.5 million PLN).

The investment, situated on Kościuszki Street,
will comprise the construction of a building with a cubature of nearly 12,000 meters3 and the main pool sized 25 x 12.5 m. Completion of the investment will take 18 months. ■

Mazur office will design Cultural Center with area
of 1,300 sqm in Katowice.
Rafał Mazur's Pracownia Architektury I Urbanistyki from Warsaw has won a tender for the design of the City Cultural Center Koszutka, Dąb division, on Krzyżowa Street in Katowice. Development
of documentation of the building with a usable area
of 1,300 sqm, which will include a library and multi-functional rooms, is to take 9 months. ■

Consortium of Tehand-3J will modernize medical center in Łódź for nearly 8 million PLN. The consortium of companies Tehand and 3J has made the lowest offer
(8 million PLN net) for the modernization of dr Wł. Biegański Voivodship Specialist Hospital on Kniaziewicza St. in Łódź. Modernization of buildings with a total area
of 2,600 sqm and cubature of 19,300 meters3 is to be finalized within a period of 19 months. Other candidates for the contract are Condite and the consortium
of Investment Łódzki and Remo-Bud Łódź. ■

Wandachowicz-Kashyna will prepare, for 260,000 PLN, design for extension of Praski Hospital. Wandachowicz-Kashyna Architekci office has acquired a contract
from the management of Praski Hospital in Warsaw concerning the development, for 260,000 PLN, of a design for the “B-2” building on Solidarności Av. Another candidate for the contract was Wrocław based Studio Ligaszewski with the price of 280,000 PLN.

The four-story building with a cubature
of 7,200 meters3 will connect the existing building “B” and the “A-2” building which is currently under construction. The design is to be ready within a period of 5 months. ■

Smart Architekci will design Physical Activity Center
in Żory.
The authorities of Żory (Śląskie Voivodship) have hired Smart Architekci to design the Physical Activity Center on Boryńska Street and a concept of an adjacent
3-story shopping-service building on Wodzisławska St. Documentation of the building is to be ready
within a period of 5 months.

Recently it was announced that a contractor had been chosen for another sports investment in Śląskie Voivodship. A hall with an area of 1,300 sqm will be built in Ostrów on River Oksza. The general contractor is going to be Kromar. ■

Zgorzelec hospital seeks contractor for building
with area
of 2,500 sqm. Until 3rd August, the management of Multi-Specialty Hospital in Zgorzelec (Dolnośląskie Voivodship) will be collecting offers with a deposit
of 100,000 PLN concerning the design, works and author's supervision of the extension of a medical center
on Konarskiego St. The investment will comprise
the construction of a building with a connecting corridor with an area of 2,500 sqm and cubature of 9,500 meters3. The contract is to be carried out by the end of October 2010. ■

Karpla Konsulting will design KS Wróblowianka sports hall in Krakow for 115,000 PLN. Sports Infrastructure Management (ZIS) in Krakow has hired Karpla Konsulting to develop a design for a sports hall with an area of approx. 1,800 sqm and a complex of sports grounds, as well as
the development of 3.3 hectares of land for the purposes
of the “Wróblowianka” Sports Club on Wróblowicka St. The contract, worth 115,000 PLN, is to be carried out by the end of this November. ■

Rem-Bud-1 and Mobud want to carry out sports investments in Mielec and Nysa for 9 million PLN. Seven offers have been submitted in a tender, issued by the authorities of Mielec (Podkarpackie Voivodship) concerning the general contracting of a sports hall with
an area of 2,100 sqm and cubature of 21,100 meters3
on Grunwaldzka St. The best offer (4.94 million PLN)
has been made by Stalowa Wola based company Rem-Bud-1. Other candidates for the contract are: Dan-Eko (5.98 million PLN), ABM Solid (5.42 million PLN), Agrobaza (5.44 million PLN), Samson (5.22 million PLN), BCJ (5.32 million PLN) and Arkada (4.99 million PLN. Works on the investment, the design of which has been prepared by Jerzy Bednarczyk's Radom based office,
are to be finalized by 30th June 2010.

It has also recently been announced that a tender
for the modernization of a swimming pool in Nysa (Opolskie Voivodship) on Piłsudskiego St. has been concluded. The lowest offer for the realizaion
of the investment (3.7 million PLN) had been made by Mobud. ■

Apri and Eko-Invest will construct education-sports buildings in Świętokrzyskie Voivodship. The authorities of District Stoarost's Office in Opatów (Świętokrzyskie Voivodship) have hired Kielce based office “Apro”
to prepare a design for the extension of the Schools Complex No. 1. The plans anticipate the construction
of a new cultural section and a gym with a total area
of 4,000 sqm and cubature of 25,000 meters3. Works
on the contract are to be finalized by 20th August of this year.

In the past few days, a tender for the construction
of a sports hall was concluded in Świętokrzyskie Voivodship. A building with an area of 2,100 sqm will be erected on Szkolna St. in Nowa Słupia, on the basis
of a design by Władysław Markulis's company ABA.
The contract for general contracting of the investment, worth 4 million PLN, has been ordered to Eko-Invest. ■

Technical Universities in Gdańsk and Wrocław preparing documentation for students' hotel and laboratory building.
4th August is the deadline for submitting offers
for the development of a design for the general overhaul and modernization of the Students' Hotel No. 12
on Traugutta St. in Gdańsk-Wrzeszcz, belonging to Gdańsk Technical University (PG). Development of documentation of the 5-story building with an area of 4,300 sqm and cubature of 16,000 meters3 is to take 5 months.

Meanwhile, the authorities of Wrocław Technical University (PW) have hired the local company Studio A+R to prepare a design for the modernization of the Laboratory Hall at the A-4 building on Smoluchowskiego St.
The contract concerns the above-ground part
of the building, with a total area of approxx. 1,000 sqm. ■

Cekcyn authorities seek contractor for sports hall
with cubature of 17,800 meters
3. Until 4th August, Cekcyn commune will be collecting offers with a deposit of 100,000 PLN concerning the construction of a sports hall. The investment, the documentation of which has been prepared by Krystyna Juchniewicz's Gdańsk based office, will comprise the construction of a building with an area
of 2,400 sqm and cubature of 17,800 meters3.
The construction works are to be finalized by 31st July 2011. ■

Instalkomfort makes lowest offer for designing Fight and Martyrdom Museum in Palmiry. On 20th July, offers were opened in a tender, issued by the Warsaw City Development Management (SZRM), concerning the design of the Fight and Martyrdom Museum in Palmiry near Warsaw. Twenty three companies are competing
for the contract; the lowest offer for the realization
of the order (with the price of 93,000 PLN) has been made by Olsztyn based Instalkomfort. The investment
will comprise the construction of a building with an area
of 1,000 sqm by the end of 2010. ■

INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENTS

Karmar, Mota Engil and Apcoa among companies interested in building parking lot in Wrocław. Offers from seven bidders were submitted in a tender
for the construction and management of an underground parking lot underneath the Nowy Targ Square in Wrocław. The candidates for the contract include Karmar, 3E Car Park-Akme, ABB FDO-Alexandre Barbosa Borges-FDO Construcoes, Apcoa Parking, Actividades Industriales Urbanisticas y Medioambientales-Actium Construcciones-Rehabilitaciones y Acabados-Corelia, Kompleksowa Realizacja Inwestycji Budowlanych KRIB and Mota-Engil-EMSA Empreendimentos e Exploracao de Estacionamentos- ESLI Pargues de Estacionamento-IMMO Park.

The investment is to include the construction of at least 330 parking spaces. The cost of the investment is estimated at approx. 50-80 million PLN. The parking lot is to be put into use in 2011. ■

Three multi-level parking lots for 2,200 cars will be built in Poznań. Until 15th September, Poznań City Office will be collecting offers for the design and construction
of three multi-level parking lots in the area of Poznańska Street (up to 9 stories and 400 parking spaces), tramway depot at the Jana III Sobieskiego residential complex
(up to 9 stories and 1,200 parking spaces),
and at the junction of Stróżyńskiego and Szymanowskiego streets (up to 7 stories and 600 parking spaces).
The contractor's remuneration is going to be a license
for using the built structures. The offers are to be secured with a deposit amounting to 300,000 PLN, 450,000 PLN and 450,000 PLN, respectively. ■

ZIKIT seeks contractor for modernization of junction
of Radzikowskiego and Armii Krajowej streets in Krakow.
Until 20th August, Communal Infrastructure and Transportation Management (ZIKIT) in Krakow will be collecting offers with a deposit of 750,000 PLN in a tender for the modernization of the junction of Radzikowskiego, Conrada and Jasnogórska streets. The investment,
the documentation of which has been prepared by the ARG Projektowanie Inwestycyjne Andrzeja I Renaty Garpiel office, is to be finalized by 31st October 2010. ■

Skanska will carry out road investment in Wrocław
for 44.3 million PLN.
Agnieszka Kania, representative
of Skanska, has informed PREM that the company has signed a contract for the realization of one of the stages
of construction of the connection between Śródmiejska Ring Road and Wrocław Airport. The works,
worth 44.3 million PLN gross, comprising
the modernization of 1.3 km of Strzegomska St. between Nowodworska and Graniczna streets, are to be finalized next year in September. Let us recall that the second stage of the investment (Graniczna Street) is being carried out by a consortium whose leader is Pro-Tra Building. ■

BPBK will design, for 1.9 million PLN, modernization of Andersa St. in Białystok. The authorities of Białystok have ordered a contract worth 1.9 million PLN to Biuro Projektów Budownictwa Komunalnego concerning
the development of documentation for the modernization
of Andersa St. The investment concerns the construction
of 1.6 km of a four-lane dual carriageway between Tysiąclecia PP Street and the junction with Wasilkowska Street. ■
