Stitch the pieces together as shown,

Using the taił from the center scissors holder piece, first stitch the variegated rectangle in place as shown at right, forming each section of the variegated piece into a hump before sewing it in place, so that it will create a little pocket for tools (1). Then, curve the scissors holder piece into a tubę and sew the edges together

(2) . Next, sew one of the round pieces to the bottom of the caddy

(3) , then baste the last round piece to the first round piece witli cotton cord (4).

felting

Felt in the washer, checking occasionally to see if the caddy is completely felted. When the caddy is felted to the desired texture, remove the basting stitches, adjust to the finished shape and let dry in a warm, dry place.

finishing

Using the sewing needle and thread, sew the bottom circular bases together, inserting the coins before closing completely.
