LARGE TREE

NOTĘ: Work in back Ips unlcss ofhcr-wise srated.

Rnd 1: Ch 4, 20 dc in 4ih ch Iroin hook, join wtth sl sr in top of ch-3 (21 dc).

Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in cach st around, join.

Rnd 3: Ch 3, dc in cach of nexr 2 sts, (2 dc in nexr st, dc in nexr st) around, join (30).

Rnd 4: Ch 3, dc in cach st around, join.

Rnd 5: Ch 3, dc in cach of ncxt 2 sts, 2 dc in ncxt st. (dc in ncxt st, 2 dc in next st) around, join (44).

Rnds 6-9: Ch 3, dc in each st around, join.

Rnd 10: Ch 3, dc in same st, 2 dc in next st, (dc in each of next 2 sts, 2 dc in ncxt st) around, join (60).

Rnd 11: Ch 3, dc in each st around, join.

Rnd 12: Ch 3, dc in each of next 3 sts, (2 dc in next st, dc in next 6 sts) around, join (68).

Rnd 1: Working in front Ips of rnd 1, with top of Tree facing you, join with sl st in any st, (ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same st, ch l, skip next 2 sts, (shell in ńext st, ch 1, skip nexr 2 sts) around, join with sl st in top of ch-3.

NOTĘ: For triple picot (tr-picot), (ch 5, sl

st, ch 7, sl st, ch 5, sl st) in top of last st madę.

Rnd 2: Sl sr in ncxt st, (sl st, ch 3, 2 dc, tr-picot, 2 dc) in next ch sp, ch 1, sc in next ch-1 sp, ch I, *(3 dc, tr-picot, 2 dc) in ch sp of next shell, ch 1, sc in ncxt ch-1 sp, ch I; repeat from * around, join, fasten off.

Rnds 1-15: Repeat same rnds of Large Tree. At end of last rnd, fasten off.

BRANCHES

Work same as Large Trees Branches.

Repeat Branches in front Ips of rnd 4. Skipping 3 sts instead of 2 in rnd 1, repeat Branches in front Ips of rnds 7, 10 and 13.

SMALL TREE

Rnds 1-12: Repeat same rnds of Large Tree. At end of last md, fasten off.

BRANCHES

Work same as Large Trcc’s Branches.

Repeat Branches in front Ips of rnd 4. Skipping 3 sts instead of 2 in md I, repeat Branches in front Ips of rnds 7 and 10.

F1N1SHING

1: For form, scrunch up layers of plastic wrap and shape around straw to form a cone. Cover enrire cone with anorher layer ol wrap.

2: For cach Tree, apply fabric stiffener according to manufacturers insrructiona. Place over form. Shape Branches as piece dries.®
