Fasten off. Ieavmg a long tałl for sewing. Sew open end tog and sew to body (no need to stuff legs and arms). Notę that if you’re makmg the turtie. you should sew on shell (see page 72) before sewing on arms and legs.

Usmg F hook.

Holding toy upside down (head down), join yarn at back to one of front loops you left when makmg body.

Rl: Sc 15.

R2: ^rSc 2. 2 sc in next sc⁴. rep 5 times. (20 sts)

R3: Sc 20.

Fasten off and weave in loose ends.

SCARF FOR BEAR Using E hook.

Loosely ch 40. tum.

Ch 1, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across.

Fasten off and weave in ends.

HAT FOR 8UNNY Using F hook.

Rl: Ch 2. 7 sc m second ch from hook. R2: 2 sc in each sc around. (14 sts)

R3: 'Sc 1. 2 sc in next sc*. rep 7 times. (21 sts)

R4: ⁴Sc 2. 2 sc in next sc*. rep 7 times. (28 sts)

R5-9: Sc 28.

Fasten off and weave in ends.
