These pattern details should be used in conjimction with the Form-A-Lines General Instruction shcct.
“Out ar...” means bring the needle from the back of the work through to the front. “In at...” means takc the needle from the right side ofthe work through to the back. On many sections of this design some holes are used morę than once.
Gold thread on green card.
Flame
Out at A in at B Out at C in at D Out at H in at F Continue this sequence until the flame is complete.
Car.dle holdcr
Out at G in at H Out at I in at J Out at K in at L Continue this sequence to out at M in at N.
Add a stitch for the wiek between the candle and flame.
Handle
Out at O in at P Out at Q in at R Out at S in at T Continue this sequence until the handle is complete.
Holly
Shown on leaf A.
Out at I in at 2 Out at 3 in at 2 Out at 4 in at 2 Out at 5 in at 2 Out at 6 in at 2 Out at 7 in at 2 Out at 8 in at 2 Continue to work the holly like this until it is complete using the fmished illustration as a guide. Noic the way the holes arc worked from sidc to sidc. this helps the thread lic flatter at hole 2.
Work holly leaf B in a similar way.
Candle holder Work the candle holder in backstiteh using the fmished diagram as a guide.
Ci Iow
Out at U in at V Out at W in at X Out at Y in at Z Continue this seąuence until the glow is complete, using the fmished diagram as a guide.
Bcrrics
Add three red beads near the holly leaves. The beads are attached with stitchcs.
