The Letters O & Q

Thesc letters are tatted in five rounds, each with the end of the round joined to the beginning.

Ring (13-11)

Split ring (13/ 11) repeat SRs until there are 24 rings total. The 24th ring joins to the picot of the first ring.

THC

Rows 2 & 3 ZZ chains ( grey and pink ) (12/12-12/12) Repeat all the way around making picots on the outside but not on the inside of the circle. Join the end to the beginning. THC Tat the next row of ZZ chains the same way, joining the end to the beginning and making picots at the outside of the circle only.

Row 4 ( green ) One shuttle wound CTM with bali Join to any picot of the //. chains.

Chain ( 24 + 24 + 24 + 24 + 24 + 24 ) tie the end to the beginning THC

Row 5 ( blue ) Needle tatting or finger tatting works best

Chain ( 24 + 24 + 24 + 24 + 24 + 24 ) weave through row 4 as you tat
