1st row (wrong side): 1sc into 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc into next and each ch to end, turn. 2nd row: 4ch (count as 1 tr). skip first st, *TrX over next 3 sts: rep from ‘ ending 1 tr into last st, skip tch, turn.

3rd row: 4ch (count as 1 dc and 1 ch). * work dc3tog into next 1ch sp* \ 2ch; rep from * ending last rep at * *, 1ch. 1dc into top of tch, turn.

4th row: 1ch, 1sc into first st, 1sc into next ch. *1sc into next cluster, 1sc into each of next 2ch; rep from * to end, turn.

Hearts and Diamonds Stitch

Multiple of 10 sts + 7.

(add 5 for base Chain)

Special Abbreviation Diamond = 4 rows inside a main row worked as follows: Turn, 1st row: 1ch, 1sc into first sc, 1sc into each of next 3ch. turn. Next row: 1ch, 1sc into each of next 4sc, skip tch, turn. Rep the last row twice morę.

1st row (wrong side): 1sc into 9th ch from hook, *2ch, skip 4ch. work a Heart of [3dc, 1ch, 3dc] into next ch, 2ch. skip 4ch, 1sc into next ch; rep from * to last 3ch, 2ch, skip 2ch, 1dc into last ch, turn.

2nd row: 6ch, skip first st and next 2ch, 1 sc into next sc, work a Diamond, * skip 2ch, 1 Heart into ch sp at center of next Heart, 3ch. skip 2ch, 1sc into next sc, work Diamond: rep from * ending skip 2ch. 1dc into next ch of tch, turn.
