Raccoons are noctumal animals, which means they sleep during the day and are actice at night. Their name harkens back to the Natiue American word for this masked creature, arakunem (ah-rah-KOO-nem).

O To print the raccoons body, paint your palm tan and print toward the left of the paper.

0 To make the front of the raccoon, paint your palm tan again and print, overlapping the body slightly.

Form the raccoon’s back leg, using a tan thumbprint. To form the 2 front legs, paint the top 2 sectlons of your pointer finger tan and print.
