5.    Ask an adult to write a message on the front of the tree base with a paint marker.

6.    Punch a hole in the top and bottom of the star. top and bottom of the tree. and the top of the tree holder, as shown on the patterns.

7.    Have an adult bakę the tree. base. and star following the manu-facturer’s instructions.

8.    Tie a thin ribbon through the top of the star. Ask an adult to help you connect the pieces as shown with the jump rings and pliers.

Funky Foil Gift Tags

These neat stars can be used as gift tags, ornaments, window decorations... just use your imagmation!

1.    Place the pattern on page 27 on the foil and tracę with the bam-boo skewer or toothpick. Cut out.

2.    Using the bamboo skewer or toothpick. write the recipients' name and any desired designs, like trees. starts. hearts. or squiggles. on the foil star.

3.    You can attach the star with tape to a gift or punch a hole in the top. string ribbon through the hole, and tie it to the gift.
